“The dining experience is unlike anything in this little town of Bonney Lake so it was a very pleasant surprise. Great service. The care with which they present their dishes and the quality of the food is outstanding. You do pay more because of it though. I think it's worth it because now that there are so many sushi restaurants to choose from my husband and I find ourselves being more dissenting about the quality. A poor sushi experience stays with you (and not in a good way) forever but this particular restaurant has definitely delivered on quality. The place is small and cozy so plan ahead. I would not recommend for large groups. But definitely intimate for a romantic dinner for two.“

“This place nails it! I came here with my mom and we were both hoping to remember the food in Japan while we lived there. We had the beef udon and the okinomiyaki. Beef Udon came out in a huge bowl amply filled with thinly sliced beef, fresh vegetables and perfect chewy noodles. The broth was very flavorful and they had a big bowl of togarashi spice to flavor it up as you want! Order yourself an okinomiyaki right when you get in the door. It’s big enough to split or share for a party of four and it takes 20 minutes to make. It is hands down the most authentic, delicious okinomiyaki I’ve had anywhere outside of Japan. If you find a better one out here, anywhere, let me know because I want to go! Atmosphere is quiet and dim, good place for a weekend morning, especially if you need to take care of yourself after a late night out. This is the type of place that has the proprietors wedding photo in her Japanese formal wear on the wall. Go!“

“The shabu shabu that they serve here is really good. The restaurant has been around for over 30 years, and I've come here a couple times now. The food is extremely affordable when you look at how much you get especially in the shabu shabu meal. Six of us ate there and included sushi and it was less than $200 to feed all of us, though we did not have any beverages other than hot tea and water. The server lady was outstanding and worked unbelievably hard to take care of all the tables in the restaurant by herself. I'll definitely come back for shabu-shabu again!“

“Was helping my guy shop for a car today and when it was all said and done, we were starving so wanted somewhere close and Sapporo sushi came up on Google. Its a cute little restaurant, lots of decor on the walls and the servers are really sweet and prompt with service. I don't really remember the name of the rolls, I remember one was a volcano roll and one had spicey crab on top which was absolutely phenomenal and another had eel. We got a tasty miso and side salad as well Hamaki as a starter which were fried egg rolls that were very crispy and tasty. Overall a very pleasant dining experience and amazing food, ill definitely be returning. Everything pictured was $71 before tip so it's also reasonably priced. If I had to nitpick one thing; the eel was pretty thick sliced which was awesome, but I'm hugely textural with foods and eel skin is not something I find very enjoyable on the palate. I removed the pieces of eel and peeled the skin off to avoid the slimy texture that accompanies eel skin. Other than that, everything was great.“

If there's any sort of issue (which is rare to begin with), they'll make it right. They make it easy and enjoyable to want to come back every week.“

“This place is a gem for Filipino food! I usually get the chicken adobo and it's SO good. The meat falls off the bone and you get a nice portion for UNDER $10 WITH rice. Rice isn't extra. They have various options for they lumpia as well! I can't have too much red meat so I usually get the ginger garlic and it's absolutely delicious. They're pretty nice with the sauce as well. if you really like it they have it bottled! The ONLY complaint I have is I wish I could get a little more sauce with the adobo but the rice just absorbs like all of it but that's just a preference really. We got the 911, Playboy, New York and Rainbow rolls and they were all phenomenal. Our favorite was the 911. We also got the 15 pc yellowtail, salmon and tuna sashimi & nigiri and it was fresh and very flavorful. It melted in our mouths. I haven't had sushi that good in quite awhile. Another thing I love about this place is the service. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The lady working was really sweet and gave my toddler a lollipop before we left and he was very happy. We will definitely be back!“

And my favorite sweet and sour chicken has gotten much better since the last time I’ve gone, they must’ve started using better chicken as it was a lot fresher and not dry. The sauce goes well with the rice, yum. It had just the right amount of spiciness (you probably can’t eat this if you have 0 tolerance for spice). Pick up of the takeout order went smoothly, food was ready fast and I was in and out. Restaurant itself was small and a bit dark but clean enough. The man at the front/cashier was friendly. Be wary though that they don’t really read the special instructions/notes; I asked for a spoon, chopsticks, and napkins in my pick up order but ended up with just a single small/thin napkin and a fork. The sauce had spilled out from the edges of the styrofoam takeout box so thankfully there was a plastic bag around it, it was a bit messy inside the bag.. Other than that though, food was great! Would come back again to give it another shot and to try out some other dishes on the menu.“

“I had Honto Teriyaki cater an event for me. It was for over 40 people. I chose a wide variety of food. It was excellent! Food was hot, tasty, and everyone had seconds. It was very reasonably priced. The service was excellent. They made sure everything was to my satisfaction. All of my guests loved the food. I have been to this restaurant and eaten there in person a few times. Again food is incredible. The restaurant has a very nice vibe to it. It is very comfortable setting to have dinner with your family.
