“My go to is usually a almond chai or Jolly Green Jenny, a single maple-syrup laced crepe and a side of tofu scramble. Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.“

“Overall experience was great. Started off with the fried calamari as an appetizer which was to die for and good portion. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the ribeye. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and tasted juicy and tender. We shared the asparagus and crab Mac and cheese for our sides. (Sides are portioned to be shareable). The sides were great as well. My only suggestion is providing clean plates for your sides since they are shareable. The steak comes on a plate covered in au jus which is delicious, but I didn't want to plate my mac n cheese on that plate and the bread plates were a little small. Not a big deal though! Service was great, ambiance was cozy. Highly recommend!“

“We were very impressed with our guide Keirsten.She was over the top with our SPICY group. Shakers accompanied our wounded leg toury so she could seek out ghosts with us. Sampling a few amazing menu items and cocktails prior to walk about. Shakers hands down made the best Old Fashions we had on our trip to the mid-west.Thank you for letting us make memories at Shaker’s 10/10“

“I cannot say enough good things about this place. The owner and the bartenders make this the perfect neighborhood Irish bar. Great atmosphere and the food is top notch. Great portion sizes and a good value. A must for Friday Fish Fry, it is fantastic! And the chicken wings are out of this world. 5-stars for O'Lydias!“

“Fun place! Always get treated good. Great food and great staff. Alfredo cooks some killer burgers, Bridgett, Josey, Eli are very hardworking and excellent at serving everyone. Bloody Mary is delicious as well.“

“What a great find. Nice place, great energy. The service from hostess, bartender, waiter, and food runner was prompt, polite, and sincere. Food was excellent. The queso was flavorful, melty, and delicious paired with the lovely bread, and assortment of fruits. The empanadas were the obvious stars of the show - soft billowy outer shells that had a nice bite, filled with delicious stuffings. Dessert was great as well, opting for that sinful cookie bar with ice cream.“

“My friend and I were actually diverted from Mr. Bs due to a facility issue. We are not exactly French Restaurant kind of guys (we had lots of questions on the menu!!). Nevertheless, we had an AMAZING experience!!! George was a fantastic server. Will definitely visit again. Beautiful restaurant.“

“I had ordered a pizza last night from Alphonso‘s and I thought it was the absolute worst pizza I ever had when it arrived at my house. It was almost burnt. I called and complained to the manager. He said he would do everything he could to make it up to me. So I stopped in today and they gave me a pizza and one of their sandwiches and I haven’t had the sandwich yet because I’m too full from the pizza, it was a night and day difference From yesterday to today. It was excellent.“

“Been going to Broken Bat since they moved to their new location on 1st and Pittsburgh. I absolutely recommend this place and its entirety and wish I lived closer. Whether it’s wiffle ball, darts, or kicking back and enjoying a Beach Ball (my personal favorite Pineapple Milkshake IPA) no brewery comes close to offering the atmosphere of Broken Bat. But what really makes Broken Bat so special especially to the city of Milwaukee is they care about the people and the surrounding community. They aren’t here to just make another craft beer and take your dollar. If you’ve ever met the owner Tim you’ll understand what I’m saying. So… Whether you’re in the area or at a local store, grab a beer made by Broken Bat Brewing Company. You’re doing yourself a favor and supporting an establishment that deserves it. PS- if you’re a Marquette fan (or not) -> Find the beer “Ring Out Ahoya” and crack it open during Marquettes deep run this year“

“Just tried this place today. An all I can say it such a wonderful breakfast. My wife has a gluten allergy. They are very knowledgeable, know what there doing. An make your experience the best it can be. Gluten free French toast with in house made gluten free bread. It was delicious. Made the wife cry happy tears knowing she could feel normal. Thank you Abby made the experience all the more better. Thank you for such a wonderful time.“
