“For several years, Salvatores has been my 1st or 2nd favorite pizza ever... this last weekend i had it again for the first time in several months. They've changed something about they make a basic tomato pie - how it's put together or the cheese or both. It's just not the same and it is more like pizza you get at any other place. The signature swirl of tomato sauce was barely there. It's still a regular good pizza but when you are expecting great, your favorite, it was a let down.“

“I had a really great experience with a friend looking for Carribean and we were blown away with how good the food was. The best Empanada appetizers I've had anywhere. I had Mofongo and I loved the lrge chunks of pork belly. My friend had the Patacon Pisa'o with Shredded Beef and it was amazing. Sort of tasted like a Big Mac, but way way better. I think it was the same and lettuce that took my mind to Bug Mac.“

I was not able to get a confirmation for delivery time… but short after what would have been pick up, my delivery driver was here! “The Ohio Tavern is as close as you can get to an old school dive bar in Madison. They food is cooked right in the bar area, and is mostly Mexican food. The nachos were delicious and the street corn was sublime. Service was good as well. It can get quite busy, and is louder than most establishments due to the small size. They only take cash and do not have a phone. If you want to maximize your chance of getting a spot - hit it up at an off time. We were there at 3:30 pm on a Saturday (non game day) and there were plenty of seats. At least try it once!“

“Hard to give a rating - I want it to be 5 stars, and for Madison it perhaps is, but when comparing versus similar price points in major food cities around the country or in Europe - the food falls short.All the dishes were well presented and generally good, but there wasn’t really a standout, special dish - which at this price point is a disappointment. The dishes are comparable to other good restaurants in Madison, just in the form of a 13 course menu and a little extra creativity in some of them.Service and chef are exceedingly kind and good hosts, and the drink menu is good/unique and pairings matched well - so definite positives there.Constructive feedback for the restaurant would be to pair down the quantity served with each course a little bit and use that saved time/money/effort to introduce more ‘gastronomique’ refinement to the ingredients. The quantity can be a bit too much - we were served 4 dessert courses which were each about the size of a normal dessert plate elsewhere. This was far too much and took me from feeling comfortably full to just gorged and still ‘needing’ to eat a ton more super sweet dessert because it was next up on the course. Four times. Looking around, most of the guests were barely eating these desserts because it was just too much. Focusing more on the distribution of courses (a stronger balance towards lighter/whimsical courses at the beginning of the menu and having truly “unbutton my pants good” savory courses mid menu, and fewer, less sweet dessert courses) would really improve the pacing of the meal and give more flavor/textual/sensory variety to the meal as a whole.“

“There is an outdoor terrace as well as an indoor one, so you can drink wine in a nice atmosphere. There are several types of wine. We bought white wine, almond champagne, and olive oil. I tried dry wine and it was ok and tasted good. You can also see a small vineyard outside.“

“This is a very decent, cheap bagel. Not sure if they're traditional or kosher, but they are tasty. You can't order online and they seem a little freaked if you want the bagel split or just with anything on the side. The only online menu; s a fax sheet which is a little confusing. But it's a very good bagel, especially for the money. I don't think you can eat in.Vegetarian options: I think bagels are vegetarian and you can get avocado spread or tomatoes if you want.“
