“I had a lovely experience recently. Although I ordered 3 separate items in 3 different orders, I was greeted with kindness and it continued throughout my order experience. When I came in, it was around 11:30pm during stampede and the drive thru was packed on both sides. Even though I came inside to also discover many skip orders as well, I was served efficiently and with fresh quality food. A female manager and young man took care of me and I felt prioritized and respected.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and maintained creating a welcoming environment that you want to stay in. This restaurant and its employees are special and their intention really shines through. Thank you again for everything!“

“We have gone to this McDonald's a lot and we love getting iced coffees.
One of the things that we love about this location is that the the people in the Drive-Thru are all very kind and they don't rush you and even when you need to take a moment to think in the middle of an order they are patient with you and that's that's what makes this McDonald's awesome. I honestly think that this may be the best McDonald's in the city.

For the inside of this location they always keep the restaurant very clean. I appreciate that because that is not the norm across the board with all McDonald's locations.“

“Last night we went to this location to grab some food..there's this older Asian lady with short hair that is so kind and super helpful! Surprisingly she stood out ..you don't find great service in fast food restaurants ..we'll be going there from now on!🤗🤗“

“Eh, this is the only McDonalds that fills my drinks generally to the max, which I appreciate. And that Desi guy with the Bridgerton accent who’s kinda buff is the funniest thing ever. And I know you know who I’m talking about 😭“

“This has to be my favourite McDonald’s location in the city by far. When it came to just about everything, I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice it was. Whether the tidiness or atmosphere. It definitely stands out compared to most other McDonald’s locations in Calgary. The only negative had to have been the washrooms and that the men’s one was temporarily closed for cleaning, but it wasn’t a big deal.

When it comes to the quality of the food. It definitely hasn’t changed since I first went here many, many years ago. Never disappoints. In general it’s in a great area and has always been a perfect stop when getting off of the Trans Canada Highway or leaving Canada Olympic Park. It’s pretty rare I come to this McDonald’s. But if I had to pick one, this is the one.“

“I don’t venture to McDonald’s very often, but I was having a craving for some fries today and my experience with the staff today was amazing! The girl at the cash window in drive through was so lovely, she was talking to me over the intercom while I was ordering and I couldn’t decide what coffee I wanted, she recommended the salted caramel latte, when I finished paying with her she told me she hoped I enjoyed the latte which I found so sweet! P.S the latte was delicious! wish I would have gotten her name to give her a personal shoutout on here because she deserves it with how kind she was!“

“Aziza is amazing! I had a tough/long day and didn’t want to cook.

I know that fast food is not the best choice but I didn’t want to cook.

Aziza seemed to understand and made sure my meal was fresh and fast. She asked if I could pull over and wait a moment and made sure my meal was fresh and fast.

“This place was really helpful with my order . I had an issue with doordash and came there personally because it was taking too long , the Filipina supervisor/manager (forgot to get her name) was very helpful, told me to report to doordash about what happened and even gave me my order without any charge 🙂“

“Yesterday went to the drive-thru, the service was friendly of course and ordered a quarter pounder with some change, it took less then 5 minutes until I received my food and it was pretty good, the burger and fries. It was of course the temp that it was recently made. Good job McDonalds!“

“My experience here today was good. The dude behind the till waited patiently while I realized I had no wallet and while my sister figured out her phone tap thing... A manager was also called to fix a coupon. I got more then two packs of ketchup. I can't wait till this charge for bags is gone and we don't have to ask for everything like we're 5 year olds. “While returning from Fishcreek, we visited this location.
Our earl gray and orange pekoe teas were served promptly with cream and sugar as we desired.
The staff was courteous and efficient, and the spacious restaurant was pristine clean.“

“The food was really good and the service was fantastic I don’t know what these people are talking about but when I went to check it out everything was great and I see now why there’s some mess there it was because there was teens leaving garbages not cleaning up after there selves but everything else was really great and the food took 5 mines to order maybe because there wasn’t many people.“

The one thing I would recommend working on is the rushing while taking orders. Sometimes, when I said I needed a second to decide, the employee kept repeating, “Is that it? Is that it?” which felt a little rushed and uncomfortable

I also ordered three Coke drinks, but because the order felt rushed, I only received one. It wasn’t a big problem, and the service was still good overall“

“Okay I’m gonna be so real, I pull through the drive thru for some late night 3:02 am grub to soak up an undisclosed amount of alcohol in my boyfriends stomach and I was met with truly impeccable service by a lovely woman who i unfortunately did not get the name of. She had beautiful nails and braids and considering it was 3:02 am she still had light in her eyes and whimsy in her soul. Truly she made the experience so fun and joyful while not holding up the line. Please give her a raise as I’m sure she knows who I’m talking about.“

“Pretty standard McDonald's location. Food was okay and so was service.

If you're looking for some fast food in the area, this will definitely be a restaurant you will want to know about.

Parking: Fairly large parking lot surrounds the building. It can get quite busy, though.“

“In last week, we visited a few McDonald's.
To our surprise, the restaurant at this location was the busiest.
Although it was overly busy, I was delivered our earl gray teas fairly quickly.
My wife and I liked the busy environment, fast and error-free service, and a variety of sitting arrangements.“

“This location consistently makes great quarter BLTs. Garnishings are layered evenly, with just the right amount of dressing which makes for a perfect, no-drip sandwich. Nobody wants wet, soggy sandwich when people overdo the dressings, moreso a messy bite when garnishings fall all over the place. Simple joys, but to me, the skill and care they put in to make perfect sandwich every single time speaks volume. I had to find out the crew behind my perfect BLTs. Big shout out to JP and Carl. You're rockin' it!“

“I want to acknowledge the amazing effort put forth by the female Asian staff member who was all by herself serving everyone as best she could. Our order was placed on May 23 at 10:20 PM, and she had to handle all order prep from the drive thru, front counter, and Skip the Dishes all by herself. Under all this extreme pressure, she did not lose her focus or patience and made sure everyone received their order correctly. Great job to this staff member.

“This place gets busy in the mornings, but I have found the staff to be friendly despite the chaos. Specific shout out to Yasmin who always has a big smile and even remembers my usual order even though I only come through about once a week! Great service can be hard to find these days, I wanted to be sure to call it out.“

“I forget the guys name, but whoever was working the drive-through 10pm-6am on July 26/27 is awesome. Super polite and friendly despite it being 5am… Most of the staff here are usually really nice but shoutout to that guy in particular. Great energy to start my day!“

“McDonald's at this location was spacious and very clean. Although it was clean, one of the employees was busy cleaning all the tables.
Altering entering our order in the kiosk, we got our items fairly quickly.
When the staff saw that it was difficult for me to carry three items - two cups of tea and a vanilla cone - he offered me a tray in order to make it convenient for me.

“I was here a few months ago and the owners had basically turned this place into a homeless shelter that they weren't cleaning. The dining area and the washroom was filthy with homeless people sleeping in the booths and everything smelled like urine. I was here yesterday and they seemed to have cleaned everything up inside and out , I guess the owners had enough.“

The food was so good I had to make a review! The service was phenomenal shout out to the guy working 03-30 (10pm)! The place was clean and service was very fast.

The burger was the most beautiful Big Mac burger I’ve seen, perfectly sauced and layered! These guys were not shy! The cheese was also so perfect!!

The quarter pounder was such a nice beefy burger with the proper amount of onions and pickles and it was not slanted or destroyed!

The nuggets were amazing and the guy was very kind when I asked to switch my sauce. The nuggets were perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

The fries were good for that time, some over cooked but it’s okay! This place satisfied my long craving !!“

“The manager and staff are amazing but Id like to point out one particular member who absoultey improves my day ever time I go through the drive thru. The young man on the drivethru today giving the food Ive seen many times before and he is always incredibly cheerful, personable and with a smile delivers me my food and wishes me a great day. I feel this level of service if a bit of a lost art in todays service industries but if theres any kudos programs, he deserves some serious praise. It is such a small gesture, but im sure with not just me, improves the trajectory of a customers entire day. thank you! Look forward to my next coffee :)“

“99% of the time I am picking up a mobile order through drive through so can’t really rate the atmosphere…
But the new blue Sprite is my favorite thing on the menu next to the fries and filet of fish.

“Best Inner City McDonald with epic service. Deliver food and drink to curbside pick up spot even at Raining storm and Snowstorm (got bags with food well covered under raincoats and umbrella which keep the food warm and safe and dry). Best McDonald Building with cool design and great vibe with patio in Calgary. One thing to be slightly improved but not much could be done as it’s more of DT general issue and challenge: some homeless people out of the building cause some safety concern when with kids.“

“We had a good experience here today. They were out of an item but politely offered to exhange for an alternative. Not only that, but the manager went the extra mile, brought the food to our table, straws, and ketchup, and offered to help further. Now that is some impressive customer service I did not expect at a McDonald's!“

“This McDonald's has been around forever here, usually the bathrooms are extremely filthy and never to be used by the mentally sane humans.
Convenient location and usually good customer service, downside free internet that attracts homeless crowds.“

“My apologies for the intrusion, but as a sincere patron of your establishment, I firmly believe that the guest experience is intimately tied to a venue's overall ambiance. Regrettably, the current state of the guest washroom introduces a noticeable aesthetic dissonance to your traditionally high standards of hospitality.
Attention to detail is what separates a good establishment from a truly great one. The visible wear and tear—such as the heavy scratching on the mirror frame and the noticeably dented metal dispensers -coupled with some clear oversights in maintaining pristine floors and hard-to-reach corners, unfortunately detracts from the overall comfort. Crucially, this creates unnecessary barriers for our valued senior guests, whose dignity and accessibility are an absolute priority for our local community.
It would be incredibly kind of the management team to consider a gentle refreshment of this space to restore its well-deserved standard of care and inclusivity.

“I had a great experience here over the weekend! My family and I were waiting in the drive thru reserve spot when an employee named Aryan brought out our food. He made sure to repeat our order back to us and double-check that everything was included. He noticed that two toys were missing from our order before I even realized it, and he immediately ran back inside to grab them for us. I really appreciated his attention to detail, as I definitely would have driven off without checking the bag myself.“

“I was feeling quite hungry and decided to visit this McDonald’s location, the previous reviews highlighted that they were short staffed and the restaurant was often seen as messy.

I decided to give it a try anyway, and immediately I could see how more staff members would help, as there was a long line of people ordering and waiting for food while 2-3 people tried to fulfil the orders.

I ended up getting my food eventually but to find that my order was not completed properly, I requested for the correction and the staff promptly fixed their mistake.

6 burgers and a milkshake was just what I needed after a long day of shovelling, a good spot to dine in and enjoy some food“

Food is always hot and fresh. No complaints there.

The girl in charge made our visit memorable. I have been coming to this McDonald's for past 2 years.

But today's experience what's the best. Not only my order was served to me on the table with a smile, my children felt so special that they wanted to come again tomorrow.“

“Floors and tables dirty, although not surprising for a downtown location open 24 hours. Highly convenient location with nice Stephen avenue outside to walk around. Wait time is generally pretty long (sometimes more than 10+ min) although it is generally a busy location, staff are okay. This McDonald’s is still one of the absolute best simply for its food. McDonald’s doesn’t tend to be known for high quality food, but this McDonald’s location actually serves up fresh food. Chicken nuggets always hit here, they are perfectly crisp, warm and fresh, just as advertised, the fries and burgers are super good, fries may have a bit too much salt, but that’s about it. Food is generally much higher in quality here, than any other McDonald’s near or in downtown! Highly recommend this location, especially for chicken nuggets/sandwiches.“

“This used to be the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been but and I avoided it at all costs. But now since I recently returned because this location is the closest to my area. It’s significantly improved. We used to get soggy fries and cold food through the drive-thru, but perhaps management has changed recently. The quality is much better now! Good job to whoever is in charge and truly cares about providing good quality food.“
