“I had a lovely experience recently. Although I ordered 3 separate items in 3 different orders, I was greeted with kindness and it continued throughout my order experience. When I came in, it was around 11:30pm during stampede and the drive thru was packed on both sides. Even though I came inside to also discover many skip orders as well, I was served efficiently and with fresh quality food. A female manager and young man took care of me and I felt prioritized and respected.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and maintained creating a welcoming environment that you want to stay in. This restaurant and its employees are special and their intention really shines through. Thank you again for everything!“

“I had a wonderful experience with Gagan at McDonald’s District location. She was very patient and kind while helping me use the app to redeem my rewards. She made the whole process easy and stress-free, which truly made me happy.

“We were just ordering a Happy Meal for our kids and we were collecting a set of toys. We asked an employee (Mathew) to see what toys they had. There are 23 total toys in the collection and we were only missing 3. He very kindly looked with meticulous scrutiny and got a variety for us to pick. We saw one that we did not have and we were already very excited. We shared with him what others we were missing and he went back in to check if there was more that we needed. Turns out there was one more that we did not have so we were one away from our goal. Mathew was the best McDonald’s employee we have ever met and that’s saying a lot because we had collected lots of McDonald’s sets so it’s safe to say that we have some experience. When we asked other employees; most of the time they thought we were annoying and said that they only had one type. But when we checked the other customers in the restaurant they had different toys. Mathew was extremely nice to our kids and took his time to connect with our community even in a pretty busy time. I think every person should be like Mathew and be proud and focused on his job while having those important personal qualities that are crucial in today’s society. Keep up the good work Mathew!“

“This has been a favourite coffee ☕ stop on the way to work for many years! However the long lineups in the morning have been somewhat of a deterrent.

I know that fast food is not the best choice but I didn’t want to cook.

Aziza seemed to understand and made sure my meal was fresh and fast. She asked if I could pull over and wait a moment and made sure my meal was fresh and fast.

“I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the manager working the late-night shift at this branch on May 29 around 3:00 AM.

Due to a road landslide near Golden, our trip heading to Vancouver was suddenly rerouted, and we had to return to the pickup station. At that hour, it was very difficult to find a decent hotel where we could stay until our next scheduled trip at 8:00 AM.
We walked all the way from McDonald’s hoping we could at least stay in the lobby for a while. Although the branch was already closed, I was especially worried about the elderly man accompanying me. Thankfully, the manager showed exceptional kindness and allowed us to stay in the delivery pick up room so we could stay safe and warm
This gesture was truly beyond what we expected, and it meant so much during a very stressful situation. It reminded me how compassionate and accommodating the staff and managers can be during difficult times.
To the manager I unfortunately forgot to ask for your name, but I want you to know that you are an excellent manager and an amazing person. Thank you so much for your kindness and understanding.

“I want to acknowledge the amazing effort put forth by the female Asian staff member who was all by herself serving everyone as best she could. Our order was placed on May 23 at 10:20 PM, and she had to handle all order prep from the drive thru, front counter, and Skip the Dishes all by herself. Under all this extreme pressure, she did not lose her focus or patience and made sure everyone received their order correctly. Great job to this staff member.

“Food was as expected. Service was great, i was a pain paying with 2 cards and they accommodated. Homeless man was sleeping and got kicked out so thats the docked atmosphere points, but they game my boy and icecream after and even let him come to the back to help.“

“I frequent this place for drive-thru breakfast before I go to work. Every time I go there, I'm greeted by the friendliest lady, and I always leave there with a smile. “This location consistently makes great quarter BLTs. Garnishings are layered evenly, with just the right amount of dressing which makes for a perfect, no-drip sandwich. Nobody wants wet, soggy sandwich when people overdo the dressings, moreso a messy bite when garnishings fall all over the place. Simple joys, but to me, the skill and care they put in to make perfect sandwich every single time speaks volume. I had to find out the crew behind my perfect BLTs. Big shout out to JP and Carl. “I decided to dine in at this McDonalds with my son. I am not normally a fan of Mc.D's but I was pleasantly surprised tonight. Although the staff pays much more attention to the drive thru (due to corporate structuring) they were all very pleasant and seemed to enjoy their work. The food was hot and properly prepared, the latte was delicious and the cookie and muffin were good as well. The restaurant was clean, and moderately empty. “I absolutely love this McDonald’s, but I was a little disappointed this morning when I received the wrong drinks with my order. I was in a rush, so I wasn’t able to go back through the drive-thru to have them corrected. 😪

That being said, this location is truly remarkable. The staff are always incredibly friendly, polite, and fast, even when they’re extremely busy. They work so hard and do their best to make sure every order is accurate. On the rare occasion that something is missed, they’re always professional, apologetic, and quick to make it right.

The fries and burgers are consistently fresh, and the coffee is always hot and delicious, which is a huge plus! This is easily the best McDonald’s I’ve been to. I’m confident that if I’d had time to go back this morning, they would have handled the drink mix-up with the same kindness and professionalism they always show.

10/10 for the amazing staff and consistently great service! Everyone makes mistakes, and this one mix-up definitely won’t stop me from coming back. ❤“

“This place nailed it when I came!

The food was so good I had to make a review! The service was phenomenal shout out to the guy working 03-30 (10pm)! The place was clean and service was very fast.

The burger was the most beautiful Big Mac burger I’ve seen, perfectly sauced and layered! These guys were not shy! The cheese was also so perfect!!

The quarter pounder was such a nice beefy burger with the proper amount of onions and pickles and it was not slanted or destroyed!

The nuggets were amazing and the guy was very kind when I asked to switch my sauce. The nuggets were perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

The fries were good for that time, some over cooked but it’s okay! This place satisfied my long craving !!“

“99% of the time I am picking up a mobile order through drive through so can’t really rate the atmosphere…
But the new blue Sprite is my favorite thing on the menu next to the fries and filet of fish.

“Most of the staff are incredibly sweet people—they’re hardworking and genuinely seem to care about the people they serve, which makes a big difference.

For atmosphere, I’d give it a 3/5, mainly because of the location. Being on 17 Ave means it can feel a bit risky at night. That said, aside from that factor, the regular crowd is actually quite friendly and welcoming, which helps balance things out.

Overall, a solid spot with great staff—just something to keep in mind if you’re visiting later in the evening.“

“I have ordered a dine in for 2 quater pounder or something in the McDonald's app. Took a couple of minutes but it was WORTH IT, The burger was really good the cheese still hot and just filled my mouth, BUT the fries oh my goodness, it felt it came out of the deep fryer hot, tasty but I didn't buy ketchup and mayo 😪

“We pre-ordered breakfast meals for 29 people. Our meals were excellent. We didn’t ask for it, but the staff went the extra mile to put our individual names on our orders. They only missed two hash browns, pretty good for such a large order. We’ve pre-ordered large orders other times, and we have not been disappointed with the meal or the service. “Worst McD’s there is. 15 minutes for a curbside order of 2 McDoubles and some Nugs. Food was all cold by the time we got it. Not sure if I’ve ever had an order here that was made properly. Would give zero stars if I could. Sucks that there’s no other McD’s closer to go to instead.

the way one of the mangers treat the employees is honestly disgusting . he’s asian with glasses and i’ve only seen him and another older black gentleman who is nothing compared to this guy.

Regrettably, the current state of the guest washroom introduces a noticeable aesthetic dissonance to your traditionally high standards of hospitality.
Attention to detail is what separates a good establishment from a truly great one. The visible wear and tear—such as the heavy scratching on the mirror frame and the noticeably dented metal dispensers -coupled with some clear oversights in maintaining pristine floors and hard-to-reach corners, unfortunately detracts from the overall comfort. Crucially, this creates unnecessary barriers for our valued senior guests, whose dignity and accessibility are an absolute priority for our local community.

“I was feeling quite hungry and decided to visit this McDonald’s location, the previous reviews highlighted that they were short staffed and the restaurant was often seen as messy.

I decided to give it a try anyway, and immediately I could see how more staff members would help, as there was a long line of people ordering and waiting for food while 2-3 people tried to fulfil the orders.

I ended up getting my food eventually but to find that my order was not completed properly, I requested for the correction and the staff promptly fixed their mistake.

6 burgers and a milkshake was just what I needed after a long day of shovelling, a good spot to dine in and enjoy some food“

Wait time is generally pretty long (sometimes more than 10+ min) although it is generally a busy location, staff are okay. This McDonald’s is still one of the absolute best simply for its food. McDonald’s doesn’t tend to be known for high quality food, but this McDonald’s location actually serves up fresh food. Chicken nuggets always hit here, they are perfectly crisp, warm and fresh, just as advertised, the fries and burgers are super good, fries may have a bit too much salt, but that’s about it. Food is generally much higher in quality here, than any other McDonald’s near or in downtown! Highly recommend this location, especially for chicken nuggets/sandwiches.“

“Hey, Tommy here! I just wanted to let my fellow Mcdonald’s enthusiasts know how my experience was here. Sadly I was not able to spend a lot of time, since I went to the drive-thru.

At the first window, I was able to meet a young gentleman named Ekam. Sweet and charming kid he is, reflects overall how fast food employees should be. I ordered for me and my hun where we spent around 30$. I moved up to the second window and I was given my food right away hot and ready.

I really enjoyed this McDonald’s, gives a sense of hope within the other ones around the city. Only things I’d hope for during my next visit is a happier mood within employees. For example, the young gentlemen Ekam could work on showing those pearly whites, even though he did incredible. This is for all the employees. Besides
