“My business partner and I chose The Hound for dinner during one of our visits to Auburn recently. We ordered several things to try, including various cocktails, appetizers, a couple of entrees and desserts, and the flavors were perfectly balanced and well presented in every bite and sip. Hunter was our bartender when we arrived at the bar, and he continued to serve us after we were seated for dinner. He was a fabulous mixologist with a great sense of humor who made recommendations that were spot on, answered numerous questions about the offerings and made us feel like one of the locals. But - I noticed that the other bartenders and servers were extending that same hospitality to their guests, so there must be something special about The Hound's culture to make everyone so warm and friendly. We'll be back.”

“We went during a fireball game. Tried to order an appetizer when we arrived and were told we had to order all items at same time. We went along with the weird request with an empty restaurant and the food took a very long time to arrives. We like this restaurant but it was a huge miss. The manager was present and never stopped by to check on us. Unfortunately they missed the mark!”

“We were down in Auburn for a basketball game, and looking for a way to kill some time the next day before the drive back home. Found this spot on Google, and now I’m wishing they had one back home in Huntsville. First off, those filet mignon sliders were incredible, perfectly cooked, and could fall apart in your mouth. My fiance got the BLT, and it came out so big that I thought it worked there. It was huge. Like, pays taxes kinda big. The staff was extremely friendly, understanding, helpful, you name it, they nailed it. Wish I could remember the servers name, but I’m terrible at names. But young guy working the lunch shift on 12/18. That dude was great. The best part to us was the lawn golf. Golf has always been mine and my fiances date of choice, so it was already a win in our books. But the lawn golf experience is perfect for both experienced golfers looking to play a different kind of challenge, as well as people who have probably never held a golf club in their life and don’t want to shatter a house window at a yuppie neighborhood course. If we lived closer, we would be back once a week. But until y’all catch on to how great this spot is and they expand up to Huntsville/Madison, we will have to settle with visiting this spot every time we come down for an Auburn game. Thanks for the great time!”

“Shout out to Nicole. Went there for a football game and 16 year anniversary. First time to the area. Our waitress (Nicole) was fantastic. She took the time despite them being busy to give us some good area tips and make sure we were comfortable. Very friendly and took good care of us. Food was great and prices very fair. Live music was an added bonus. Definitely recommend Nicole as well if ya get her.”

“My wife and I occasionally dine at Panda when we're in Auburn from the Lake Martin area, and are never disappointed. The portions are generous, so she and I often share a meal. The food is delicious, always fresh, and reasonably priced. The owner is one of the nicest people we've ever met. He works extremely hard to insure his customers are happy with the food and service. This is our go to place for Chinese food and has been for over 20 years!”

“This is my FAVORITE spot in Auburn!! They have great daily special that are so yummy and affordable. The food comes out very fast. The woman who works there is so sweet, she is kind and attentive! I love this place so much. Definitely try it if you’re looking for a great seafood boil! (Crab legs are the best) The ramen in your boil is also very good.”

“This is my all time favorite Waffle House. It’s on Opelika Highway in Auburn Alabama. The service is always great and when Mr Lloyd is on the grill, you know your order will be perfect and delicious. Love to watch him cook...grace and calm under pressure. He’s a good, strong influence on the rest of his team. The sausage, egg and cheese hash brown bowl with a scoop of sausage gravy is my favorite! Thank you Mr Lloyd!”
