Hunter was our bartender when we arrived at the bar, and he continued to serve us after we were seated for dinner. He was a fabulous mixologist with a great sense of humor who made recommendations that were spot on, answered numerous questions about the offerings and made us feel like one of the locals. But - I noticed that the other bartenders and servers were extending that same hospitality to their guests, so there must be something special about The Hound's culture to make everyone so warm and friendly. We'll be back.”

“We were down in Auburn for a basketball game, and looking for a way to kill some time the next day before the drive back home. Found this spot on Google, and now I’m wishing they had one back home in Huntsville. First off, those filet mignon sliders were incredible, perfectly cooked, and could fall apart in your mouth. My fiance got the BLT, and it came out so big that I thought it worked there. It was huge. Like, pays taxes kinda big. The staff was extremely friendly, understanding, helpful, you name it, they nailed it. Wish I could remember the servers name, but I’m terrible at names. But young guy working the lunch shift on 12/18. That dude was great. The best part to us was the lawn golf. Golf has always been mine and my fiances date of choice, so it was already a win in our books. But the lawn golf experience is perfect for both experienced golfers looking to play a different kind of challenge, as well as people who have probably never held a golf club in their life and don’t want to shatter a house window at a yuppie neighborhood course. If we lived closer, we would be back once a week. But until y’all catch on to how great this spot is and they expand up to Huntsville/Madison, we will have to settle with visiting this spot every time we come down for an Auburn game. Thanks for the great time!”

“Shout out to Nicole. Went there for a football game and 16 year anniversary. First time to the area. Our waitress (Nicole) was fantastic. She took the time despite them being busy to give us some good area tips and make sure we were comfortable. Very friendly and took good care of us. Food was great and prices very fair. Live music was an added bonus. Definitely recommend Nicole as well if ya get her.”

I got some wings to go (promised the wife we would get pizza when i got home). Very Good Wings!! Ivey provided five star service with drinks, orders, and casual conversation which puts her in the Super Cool Chick category. “I LOVE this shop. Since it opened, Mafia has done an incredible job at being community-oriented, and a safe space for all individuals. This is the only outwardly queer space in Auburn and it deserves its flowers.

The staff are so helpful and kind, the environment is unique and very chill, and their lattes and cold brew lattes are YUMMY.
