Mexican Restaurants near Carefree

“We found this gem on a Monday late afternoon before a GCU basketball game, so there were not many people there when we arrived. The parking lot is large and well lit. The restaurant is quite a large space with plenty of room for dancing and a band which they have on the weekends. They also offer outdoor seating. Our server was friendly and brought us the best margaritas. Two of us ordered the fajitas and they were the best I have had! Massive shrimp cooked perfectly- not overcooked like some often do- with loads of onions and peppers. Everything was thinly sliced and so tasty. It was nearly impossible to finish this dish. It could have, and should have been, shared. But instead I took leftovers home. This is a big dish for the price, and one I want to go back for.Either the owner or a manager came by to see how we were doing and then he sent over two pieces of cheesecake. I really don't like cheesecake, but this was ridiculously good- not too sweet at all. So I finished that too! There is so much on their menu that I have to go back to try more.“

“Never disappointed. We have entertained several of of town guests over the years. Food was delicious, service was timely, if something was needed the server was near by to provide the request and it was cool enough outside that heaters were provided.Parking: We've been fortunate to find parking when we've gone. There is a garage next door.“

Chef Angelo really knows What he's doing he is presenting culinary excellence with five star class can't wait for the other two restaurants in Palm Springs.“

I have worked in food service and this is not easy task for the length of time they were busy.Claudia, Martin, Jaun and Jesus kept the drive-thru, dining room and carry out customers equally serviced. Great communication amongst them and no slacking. The food was quick, hot and delicious. We have been to the TN locations multiple times but these workers were the best. Open one in IL with this crew!!!!“

“Good is great! Service slow because it’s tough to staff for conferences. And when food comes it’s by busy waiters dropping food off quick and they are tired! Hard workers but the wrong orders and mixups only cost them more work so could use some better management. Anejo neat was worth a star on its own.“

“Ofrenda is always amazing. Service is great, the staff is friendly, and the food is sublime. The taco's and enchilada's are wonderful, as are the more sophisticated dishes including the always incredible beef tenderloin. We'll be back.“

“Know that this is quaint before you go. I go for the food, which is very good. I had the Navajo taco and chicken/beef crispy tacos. All are very good but the Indian Taco I really like. It is on Indian fry bread, which is to my liking. Fast takeout service is a plus. Mark“

“We had an amazing meal here. Our server Lexi was outstanding! She was bubbly and truly enjoys working there. She brought one of the best tamales I've ever had as a treat for being first timers. It had a rich corn flavor with a black bean cream on top. Such a unique touch. She recommended various items, one of which I ordered the Naked Poblano. It was a very different take on eating a poblano pepper. It was not spicy at all. Loved the pomegranates on top. It gave it a nice crunch. I would've liked a side corn bread side for the delicious sauce it was served with. Others ordered more traditional items like burritos, tacos and enchiladas. Everyone was very happy. One more thing, definitely order cocktails! The Whoa! Oaxacan Old Fashioned is not to be missed. It's a great change from a more traditional bourbon one. Only suggestion would be to add a luxardo cherry instead of a maraschino one! All in all itexcellent evening!!“
