Permission to remove plates from the table was asked every time to confirm that the patron was through with it. I had the Kalo enchiladas, one of the best presentations and very tasty. “Absolutely love this place. I’m a foodie and this is my favorite place to eat in Tucson. The flavors are bold and the ribs are cooked just right. The açaí place that’s inside the same building is also the best açaí place in town. My girlfriend and I have pretty much tried them all and we keep coming back to this one. The workers are all so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very laid back and inviting. The only thing the I wish they did differently is to SELL THE JERSEYS! I would 100% wear that around town and I’m not even a jersey guy, or even a sports guy. I just love this place that much. Thanks for bringing such a quality establishment to Tucson for our enjoyment!”

“I’m staying at the Best Western/Hotel Bridgeway on Tucson Ave. the Indian Twist restaurant is attached to the hotel. Super convenient, fast and DELICIOUS!! There’s not many Paneer dishes, but I asked if I could sub the chicken in the Butter Chicken for paneer. It was no problem! I had Butter Paneer, garlic naan and the wonderful rice. I got mild spice and it was PERFECT!! I wish I could have this everyday! Friendly service, making sure that I didn’t need anything else several times. As I was eating several pick up orders were completed, and a couple others came in to eat. Everyone was warmly welcomed, not the canned ‘welcome in’ response that you get many places. 10/10 - would eat here everyday.”

“First thing I say when we walk in, "OMG this place smells AMAZING!!", and tasted even better! Best falafel and gyro I've ever had!! I like that the falafel is patties instead of balls like most places. It was cooked perfectly..crispy crunchy on the outside, soft and almost cake-like on the inside. You get 4 cakes to the order plus pita bread, cucumbers and tomatoes. The gyro is HUGE!! I couldn't even pick it up to try and eat it until I ate some of the meat out of it, which btw, is flavored so beautifully that you don't really need the tzatziki sauce but definitely worth putting on bc the flavors of both go together so well! I HIGHLY recommend going to Istanbul if you want outstanding Mediterranean food in a good atmosphere! This place definitely get 👍👍 from this food enthusiast!!”

“This Tucson Sub spot never misses! Always HITS! They have a variety of sub options on their menu, as well as healthy choice options from wraps to salads. Don’t be afraid to ask about their secret menu options either! The owner recommended one today (see photo below) and it was absolutely everything I wanted in a sub sandwich. Great tasting ingredients, not shy of filling the bread up, threw that extra cheese just right, and had a spicy kick to it. I have tried a few different sandwiches on the few occasions I have returned, and some menu items I have revisited, always with the same love and preparation as the time before. Beyond the food, is the service. This Ma and Pop shop heart and soul is in its hospitality and welcoming feeling, and it directly reflects into the food they serve on a day to day. I have found no reason to go to any other sub place in town because, for me personality, this one takes the cake. Amazing people, outstanding service, delicious food, great value, all in one locally owned and operated location right here in Tucson.”

You can tell that she loves what she does and that she genuinely wants everyone who walks through those red doors to have a wonderful experience there. The food? Incredible. And there’s such a variety in what you can order to eat, so it’s great for going out to lunch with a group! A majority of the food is made from scratch, and you can taste the difference. Nothing perks up your workday like some good home cooking, and they have it in droves. ALSO- PSA to the Disabled Community!!!! I can personally attest to the fact that they are super accessible for wheelchair users and service dog teams. And they will go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and have all the accommodations you need. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is- between the food, the staff, and the atmosphere, it’s definitely going to be my new favorite lunch hang out!”

I gave it a 3 star instead of a 5 star because they, again, left of tge sesame seeds on the Rock Bop. This is the 2nd time they have done on an order. The order, before this, they left out the sauce and sesame seed, which made the Rock Bop very dry. I am not looking for replacements or a discount. My family and I really like Cupbop. “You would not know it from the outside, but the inside is one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve eaten in in decades. Very friendly staff. Amazing wings, juicy and plump with lots of sauce, choices or dry rub. Loaded, tater tots, the prickly pear mule was a specialty drink. That was really tasty. Small family run locally owned place. I hope people support them. They deserve to succeed. Great prices. But one of the stand out offerings are their churro bites. They are incredibly unique not what we expected for the price. We thought we were getting the frozen mini churros. Instead they brought a serving of these long, narrow, thin very crispy little churros with a really rich deep, Mexican vanilla flavor with a generous cinnamon taste. Just the best churro I think I’ve ever maybe had and they serve it with chocolate sauce for dipping. Stop by and grab an order with a dozen wings. The wings are five dollars off a dozen on Wednesday. You can’t go wrong.”

Since I was just leaving my house, I told him I would pick it up. I asked if I could return the other ham, he told me to keep it. “First, let me say that these wonderful people (Marlee, Christi, Tara, and the Tucson crew) went above and beyond to help me set up a surprise anniversary meal for my wife. That is just who they are. However, the reason that YOU should go to Sweet Tomatoes is that it IS Sweet Tomatoes. As others have mentioned, we have missed this restaurant since it shut down a few years ago. This Tucson location (the only one currently open in the USA) is perfectly representative of the Sweet Tomatoes that we love and remember. The food is so fresh and delicious. We had such old favorites like Tuna Tarragon and Caesar Asiago Salad. The soups and pasta dishes were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the Roasted Ratatouille Soup and the Coconut Muffins. The atmosphere was excellent as the dining area and serving lines were laid out in the same way as they were back in the day. The staff here are so professional, helpful and friendly. They are the best. If you loved Sweet Tomatoes before, you will be delighted with this Tucson location. Let's hope that they will be opening up in more areas of the USA soon.”
