“Great Meal and great service. Luis was amazing person. The salsa was made at the table.”
“Table side salsa is the best! Menu selection is huge and the food is so good! I had lemon butter cilantro salmon, muy perfecto! Personable management and great wait staff, highly recommend Guadalajara’s!”
“What a fun night! This was a great alternative to an average date night. The night was filled with mystery, fun and laughter. I really enjoyed the close-up magic at the beginning. Norm is an amazing performer as well. Overall it was a very entertaining. I highly recommend this experience.”
“So the wait was about 30 minutes. The seating hostess was super nice so that always helps with long wait time. Aesthetically pleasing environment. The food was plated beautifully but sadly lacked flavor. Birria taco meat was a bit hard to chew. And my husband said his plate was so so. It was hard to eat since the table was small & our server did not clear any dishes between appetizers and main entrees. We thought it was overpriced but glad we tried something new while visiting Tucson.”

“Have had nothing but absolute deliciousness from this place. Pasta, salads, sandwiches and the garlic aioli fries are to die for. Go! You won’t be disappointed!”
“Great food and atmosphere. It’s great to go somewhere local and get a taste of Louisiana! It’s been a long time since I’ve had gumbo, and it didn’t disappoint. And the hush puppies were great and we ended up getting an extra order. I look forward to trying more of the menu!”

“This place has authentic Sonoran style hot dogs. I visit Hermosillo frequently and love the “dogos” so I know what I’m talking about! The hot dogs here are more like Hermosillo hot dogs than any other place I have tried in Tucson! The only criticism I can offer is they need to try and find the Hermosillo style buns with the deep pockets that can hold more toppings.”
“Absolutely love this place. I’m a foodie and this is my favorite place to eat in Tucson. The flavors are bold and the ribs are cooked just right. The açaí place that’s inside the same building is also the best açaí place in town. My girlfriend and I have pretty much tried them all and we keep coming back to this one. The workers are all so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very laid back and inviting. The only thing the I wish they did differently is to SELL THE JERSEYS! I would 100% wear that around town and I’m not even a jersey guy, or even a sports guy. I just love this place that much. Thanks for bringing such a quality establishment to Tucson for our enjoyment!”
“Great atmosphere, varied menu, and excellent service. All four of us LOVED our entree selections. Can't wait to go back and try something different.”
“Fantastic staff. Andy was amazing and attentive. The food was outstanding. I loved my flaming cheesecake!!”
“Service excellent, food inventive, delicious. Dark slick tile floors, unmarked change from floor to a step…there must be a bright reflective tape or paint for more than one site in the restaurant. I was injured falling having not seen nor felt the one step. Management was most solicitous and paid our bill. We would never have asked for this and were surprised and grateful.”

“Let’s Talk Tucson Tacos • Redbird Scratch Kitchen + Bar on Sam Houston knows what’s up in the kitchen and how to engage with their guests • our server Taryn was awesome • made great recommendations and her attentiveness was outstanding • These Tacos were absolutely 💯🔥 • Service Top Notch • Atmosphere 😎 • put this on your list of must eats in Tucson • They have 2 locations and yes we did go to both of them 😅 #tacos #tucsonfoodie #arizona #redbirdscratchkitchen”
“Finally tried Mojo, and it did not disappoint! Food, drink, and service were wonderful. I grew up on the east coast and have missed Cuban food; so happy to have a spot here in Tucson! I love that there were several sampler options so I could try a variety of dishes on my first visit: rum flight (silver), Plato Mixto, and Taste of Havana were all delicious. Will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu. Shout out to our server who was welcoming and attentive!”
“Very clean, nice team at the counter. Love that there's Kool aid on tap! Veggie portions were really small, filled half the container. Guessing it's weighed but the impression is that you get a container, not half the container when you're paying for it.
Spice on the chicken is unique and yummy. Brisket is dense - not tender but not chewy - and the right amount of fat. Flavor is good.
Decent for taste but comes in under on value due to the sides.”

“The food is delicious. This place has a waiting line. I had the pecan waffles with sugar free syrup. The waffles are hot and tasty with plenty of pecans. The sugar free syrup tastes as good as regular. My husband had the Texas Patty Melt. We would definitely order these again. The service is outstanding by all who work here. But a special shout-out to Veva. Very sweet and efficient. She makes you want to return.”
“The workers in the evening are beyond kind. Super patient &greet you with smiles each time I go. The parking is huge. It's right off the 10 freeway. Super easy to get to. The dining area is exceptionally clean and super cozy. Not going over there and just munching on my food while I meditate read. Surf the net or simply chat with family? Once I'm done I'm off and about and it's so easy to hop right on the freeway to get back to my home. Please stop by the Carl's Jr cuz it's a great place to just go chill”
“This Honors Village on the edge of the University of Arizona has the newest & BEST dorms and/or apartments, monitored entry 24/7. Six floors with 4 modern elevators for each wing are nicely situated around a beautiful green courtyard with hardscape areas for sitting, tanning/lounging and multiple recreation games, like outdoor chess or ping pong. Each floor has a large laundry room, study rooms, games rooms, & more. Rooms are large, peaceful & bathrooms are spacious, clean & private. We upgraded the shower standard shower head with rainfall head/handheld but must replace standard original head at move-out. Dorm Twin (XL) beds are raised above storage drawers, but no bunks. The 1st floor has entry desk, lobby, mailroom, multiple classrooms & the 85North restaurant, which serves a wide variety of meals each day. The North Rec Center across the entry plaza is convenient for workouts. Adjoining shake/smoothie joint is convenient afterwards and rates high with students. Safe, modern & clean with nearby bicycle parking, or permited ($750+/-annually) vehicle parking structure for residents. Super easy access to main roads for visitors or move-in/outs and in addition to the North Rec Center adjacency, it is located close to Eller School of Business, CAPLA, Law, or The Banner Hospital for medical students.
The only negative is that it is located on the outer NW edge of Campus, across Speedway. An underground pedestian tunnel a few blocks away, next to Eller Business School, makes crossing the heavily trafficked road convenient.
Prior approval & some Honors courses required & cost higher than other dorms, but all worth it. Suggest following Instagram - @uazfrankehonors”
“I have been their twice and they have not disappointed. The best customer service of any of the fast food joints and many of regular restaurants . I would like to acknowledge one person in particular, his name is STANLEY at the River location.Never been treated so well from the time I ordered to the time I walked out of the restaurant . KEEP UP THE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.”
“First thing I say when we walk in, "OMG this place smells AMAZING!!", and tasted even better! Best falafel and gyro I've ever had!! I like that the falafel is patties instead of balls like most places. It was cooked perfectly..crispy crunchy on the outside, soft and almost cake-like on the inside. You get 4 cakes to the order plus pita bread, cucumbers and tomatoes. The gyro is HUGE!! I couldn't even pick it up to try and eat it until I ate some of the meat out of it, which btw, is flavored so beautifully that you don't really need the tzatziki sauce but definitely worth putting on bc the flavors of both go together so well! I HIGHLY recommend going to Istanbul if you want outstanding Mediterranean food in a good atmosphere! This place definitely get 👍👍 from this food enthusiast!!”

“I'm so happy with Angelos! I am done forever with Uber eats. They let their drivers do batch orders and the food just travels in a car and gets cold. The food is delicious! It was hot! A really nice young man dropped it off that works there and it was on time. Shout out to Angelos!”
“We live super close to licks and I love to always try a different flavor and there custom milkshakes are so good also, if you look to the right of the fridge and between the lounge area on the wall there’s a menu for a bunch of different types of ice cream like one is a peanut butter sorta vibe ice cream cone and also another amazing thing is there staff they are always so friendly, I highly recommend this if your driving by or if you are eating dinner somewhere near I definitely recommend stopping by.”
“So much fun! We’re not from Tucson but had heard all about Sonoran Hot Dogs and were eager to try them. This food truck was highly rated on Google and Yelp so we decided to give it a go. The hot dogs did not disappoint. I’ve never had anything like it, but it was quite delicious. I’m not a hot dog fan in general but these were delicious.”
“This place gets it. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is effortlessly hip—modern, laid-back, and designed for people who actually want to sit, chill, and enjoy their pizza (no awkward standing tables or juggling slices here).
The pizza is next-level: perfectly blistered crust, high-quality toppings, and flavors that feel both creative and comforting. You can tell real thought went into every combo, not just what looks good on Instagram (though, yes, it absolutely does).
The drink menu is just as dialed in—well-crafted, refreshing, and clearly curated to pair with the food instead of distracting from it. Add in friendly, attentive service that never feels rushed, and you’ve got a spot that’s easy to settle into and hard to leave.
This is the kind of pizza place you recommend without hesitation—cool without trying too hard, cozy without being boring, and absolutely deserving of five stars. A huge Thank You to Jared and his team for bringing this spot to the Eastside of Tucson!!!”
“just discovered this place.. i had the cuban taco plate and just yesterday, the chilaquilas? both were excellent. staff is friendly and takes their time to make sure they answer all your questions, never felted rushed. wonderful setting, very relaxing. i plan on eating my way through their menu.”
“I came for a pastry. I left a changed woman.
Houlden’s Rise Above is not a bakery — it’s a culinary art gallery where the exhibits melt in your mouth. These artistic pastries layered with wildly creative ingredients didn’t just taste good… they altered my personality.
One bite and I forgot my responsibilities. My inner monologue switched to “how many of these can I legally eat before someone intervenes?” The textures? Immaculate. The flavors? Bold, imaginative, emotionally supportive.
This isn’t dessert — it’s edible craftsmanship. Each pastry feels like it was designed by a mad genius with a whisk and a dream.
If you’re counting carbs, turn around.
If you’re emotionally stable, proceed with caution.
If you appreciate flavor, creativity, and joy in its purest form — welcome home.
Houlden’s Rise Above: where pastries transcend reality and your standards are forever ruined. 🥐✨”
“Great Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizza on sourdough crust, available sourdough loaves, interesting vegetable and salad dishes, wine, and dessert including one using Monsoon chocolate (a local Tucson chocolatier). Sonoran Restaurant Week is usually a standout time to visit. I only wish the standard menu served a few more varieties of pizza. I would visit more often.
Don't expect to have a private diving experience, though. You'll share long bench tables with other groups or couples. Get to know your neighbor or pretend you didn't overhear them.
Cost is highly variable. Pizza alone was under $20 the last time I visited, but you miss out on a lot if you skip the other offerings.
The real gripe around ANELLO is literally the changing area around it. The gentrification of the area has brought in an unlimited supply of parking meters and standardized commercial enterprises. Still, the food inside Is worth trekking past the increasing blandness outside.
Speaking of outside, the pure white building across the street from ANELLO reflects the sun something terrible depending on when you dine.”

“The food is incredible and the owner is the most real & incredible human. Story time: 5 or so years ago I went in to pick up food - I was having the worst day. I was sick, I was fighting with an awful human non stop and I had just finished a 22 day straight gem show job. I sat down to wait for my food and the owner saw my sorry state and just came out and started putting a bunch of shots of juice in front of me. Literally fixed my day and my life for moment. I get emotional just walking into this place. Nothing but warmth and love. ❤️❤️❤️”

“Absolutely love Wings Y Mas - always friendly staff, fantastic pricing, and delicious food. I stopped enjoying wing nights when Buffalo Wild Wings went downhill and the price of wings most places is insane - but Wings Y Mas has truly found the perfect balance. Their Hot traditional wings have a perfect balance of heat but still flavorful. The wings are always meaty and cooked to perfection. If you’re on the fence about trying them - just do it. You won’t regret it. Accept when they’re closed and you’re craving it 😅 10/10 love this place!”
“I had my retirement party there a little over a week ago. The staff was great - helpful, attentive, yet unobtrusive... and also friendly and just really nice. The food was absolutely fantastic. All of my guests raved about the dinner and the cakes we had for desert. So many thanks to the chef(s) for a delicious meal. The venue was charming and, because the weather was about perfect that night, we were able to enjoy the patio as well as being inside. I can't thank the staff at Café a la C'Artl/Carte Blanche catering enough for making our celebration so great!”
“Fantastic! There were 4 of us, everyone had a different meal, and everyone loved it. I had the rack of lamb and my wife had the pork shank pasta, they were both amazing and the prices seemed quite low to me for the quality of food.”
Fine Dining
“Where do I even begin? Emma’s Delights Home Cafe is truly the best — every pastry and drink is made completely from scratch with so much love and care. I absolutely adore their weekly porch bake sales! I tried the challah bread and the single-serve caramel pineapple upside-down cake, and oh my goodness — both were divine. The bread was soft, fluffy, and perfectly balanced in sweetness, while the cake was moist and bursting with flavor. And don’t even get me started on the Their pumpkin spice walnut loaf — it was baked to perfection, with just the right blend of spices. Highly, highly recommend!
Try them out before knocking them down. Ya.”
“We love Renee's for the amazing gluten free food available!!! It's wonderful to find a place that tastes so authentic but also accommodates our allergies!”
“While I only lived in Tucson for 6 months, I heard of so many great places. This place, was one of the best. 2nd to El Guerro Canello.. It's great for Tucson, I'll definitely be back there when I'm in Tucson. If you're in Phoenix, look up Comedor Guadalajara, no affiliation to Guadalajara Original Grill. .”

“Drove 50 miles for the best Indian food in Tucson! Read about it and couldn't’ wait to try. It did not disappoint. Best Indian food since I lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Fabulous! Can’t wait to go back. Had: Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, and Paneer Tikka Masala. Along with Naan. Made to order. Thank you!!”
“Amazing gelato with crunchy delicious variety of cones available. Super nice employees (please tip them) that are very personable, professional and quick to help their customers. I was never a fan of gelato until I had Bella's. Totally hooked...I'd eat it daily if I could. 😃🐾🐕”
“This Tucson Sub spot never misses! Always HITS! They have a variety of sub options on their menu, as well as healthy choice options from wraps to salads. Don’t be afraid to ask about their secret menu options either! The owner recommended one today (see photo below) and it was absolutely everything I wanted in a sub sandwich. Great tasting ingredients, not shy of filling the bread up, threw that extra cheese just right, and had a spicy kick to it. I have tried a few different sandwiches on the few occasions I have returned, and some menu items I have revisited, always with the same love and preparation as the time before. Beyond the food, is the service. This Ma and Pop shop heart and soul is in its hospitality and welcoming feeling, and it directly reflects into the food they serve on a day to day. I have found no reason to go to any other sub place in town because, for me personality, this one takes the cake. Amazing people, outstanding service, delicious food, great value, all in one locally owned and operated location right here in Tucson.”
“Good Morning, I wanted to express my gratitude for such wonderful and delicious Pan Dulce. Being born in Tijuana, Baja California and raised in Los Angeles, California my entire life . I thought I would never find this exquisite baked delights. La Estrella Bakery transported me to wonderful time of my childhood. I now reside in Oro Valley, AZ . I came to your bakery and had such a pleasant experience with your wonderful staff. May God continue to bless you and all of your hard work and of course your entire staff for creating these wonderful and delightful baked goods and most definitely your delicious Tortillas. 😊🙏🏻❤️🇲🇽 Sincerely, New Customer Salvador Horta”
“Easily my favorite restaurant in Tucson. Smoked kielbasa, mizeria, mushroom and sauerkraut pierogi, and horseradish with a cold Zywiec is the perfect meal. Hearty portions, cozy decor, friendly and knowledgeable servers, this place is a hidden gem!”
“Excellent meal. Mushroom soup intensely flavored and supremely delicious, scallops perfectly seared, bone marrow was perfect, king salmon was amazing. Great wine selection. Professional yet friendly staff. Can't wait for my next visit!”
“Such a cute and cozy Turkish restaurant! They have a beautiful indoor patio as well as outdoor seating, which makes the atmosphere really inviting. The food selection is amazing with a big variety of options to choose from.
The staff was extremely kind and welcoming, especially Angel. She was very helpful and friendly, and when she found out we drove 2 hours from Phoenix, she kindly offered us complimentary tea so we could relax before the long drive back. That thoughtful gesture really stood out.
Highly recommend this place for both the food and the hospitality!”
“My wife and I went last night for the first time. Best steak I have had in Tucson in a long time. Highly recommend!!”
“It was my first time at Amelia’s Mexican Kitchen in Tucson, and it definitely won’t be my last. The food was absolutely top-tier—fresh, flavorful, and easily some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. You can tell everything is made with care, from the house-made salsas to the perfectly cooked dishes.
What really made the night stand out though was the service at the bar. Johan and Louie were outstanding—super attentive, welcoming, and just great people to be around. They made sure everything was on point the entire time and created a vibe that made me want to stay longer and come back again.
Between the incredible food, great drinks, and top-notch service, this place lives up to the hype. If you’re in Tucson, sitting at the bar with Johan and Louie is a must.”
“Wow. I was stationed in Japan for 7 months in the army. This is very close to Japan level Sushi flavor. Great attention from staff. Better than Ra Sushi. Come here. You wont be disappointed.”
“I attended Late Night with Morani Sanders Quartet at the Century Room. It was outstanding. Great venue, great service, and the music was top notch. :-)”
“We tried Bashful Bandit for the first time today, it was delicious. I also really appreciated the customer service, the employees were very patient with our kids and helped them pick out a meat they would like (they both thought it was tasty and are picky eaters!)”
“Food is Phenomenal!!! Service is on point and atmosphere is awesome 👌🏽”
“Everything was wonderful at this restaurant. The only issue noted was the noise level. But it was Friday night and there was a band playing just outside the restaurant.”
“The food is amazing. Best Italian since I moved to AZ from NY 30 years ago. I drive from Sierra Vista just to eat here...😁”
“If I could plan and host any New Year’s Eve party, I wanted, with whatever food I wanted, and the best band I could think of, I would be too late! Jackrabbit lounge on Oracle already did exactly that!”
“Every menu item Ive tried has been top notch in flavor, presentation, portion size. Moe and his crew are the best!”
“The place was run by a man and wife team and they were very nice and the only thing better was their food
The man treated us like family with so.e old world delights.”
“We loved our burgers and the brussel sprouts were delicious too! The service was excellent and the kids burger with fries was plenty of food for our 10 year old. Next time I want to save room for a milkshake for dessert!”
“The atmosphere and decor of the place is my kind of bar. I love the service and the food. I love this place and will go as long as they are there.”
“Very friendly and helpful employees. Great selection of food and drinks. Menu has good descriptions. Prices are a bit higher than my budget, but the food was worth every dollar. Steak cooked to the perfect temperature and seasoned just right. The service was amazing.”
“Our server, Craig, was engaging, attentive, and has a smile that lights up the room. The food is exceptional, and portions are more than ample. Absolutely the best brunch in town!”
“I highly recommend. Woaw everything was so flavorful. I want some fresh ceviche right now its 6am its on my mind already! The sauce I could just drink. I do a tiktok review 5/5 Stars”
“This place makes me miss Tucson! The BEST food, and such a good place to enjoy a good time and some good food :)”
“The food, the service, and the experience of our order was incredible. Thank you later for making us feel welcome.”
“My wife and I ate here impromptu as we were having drinks nearby. This place offers great sushi (authentic, creative, priced appropriately ). The evening we visited they ran out of rice, but instead of stressing their situation, they gave us an extra roll that didn’t require the rice and it was fantastic! We will definitely be back!”
“Stopped in for lunch today and had Victor as my server. He was super attentive to my group and the food was awesome. Been there a few times and he’s the best server I’ve had there yet.”
“Proposed to my fiancée at this beautiful establishment. Service was incredible and the place has a great ambiance. The food was delicious! Our go to restaurant 🫶🏾 Also, thank you so much to the owners for sending a bottle of champagne over to our table!”
“Absolutely delicious as always. Phenomenal flavors packed with love and nutrition.
They’ve moved locations and expanded the operation and it is a really sweet space for lunch or an evening out.”
“I’m a Tucson native and this is by far my favorite IPA. Maybe I’m prejudiced, but this ticks all the boxes for me. I have not had the pleasure of enjoying it from the tap in the brewery, but maybe soon.”
“Unbelievable delicious food. Prices are good, service was nice and no need to make reservations. Will definitely come back.”
“Great food and service staff was very friendly and helpful, offering good recommendations and accommodating our need for speed with our flight leaving shortly.
Absolutely recommend coming here and would go back!”
“We found this palace by accident and are so glad we did. The food was amazing and the staff was awesome. I will recommend it from the mountain tops. We will be back!”
“Love the music! Good food. Nice little shops. My favorite venue and a great location.”
“Very tasty and great service. The girl behind the counter was super friendly and excited to offer me recommendations as to which macarons pair well with the different gelato flavors. I got a cookies and cream gelato with a pistachio macaron and it was delicious!”
“I taught a painting class here and ordered some food and coffee, It was absolutely delish, would highly recommend! Owner was so super sweet and staff is amazing. Nice vibe ⭐️”
“This place was fantastic. The ambience was clean and inviting, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. I especially loved their curry. It was fresh, rich, thick, and full of flavor. The coconut matcha drink is to die for! Definitely a place I’d happily come back to. 🌿🥥🍛”
“The food is good however I did not have a great experience this evening so I’ll likely stick to just placing pickup orders.”
“Eaten here many times. Tamales are the best, enchiladas, excellent as well as everything else I've tried. My Tucson favorite.”
“Perfect spot for Sunday lunch with a good friend. We highly recommend the refreshing watermelon 🍉 margaritas and mango ceviche, followed by the chicken tinga bowl and dulce de leche chocolate cake. Great ambiance and amazing service. We will definitely be back again soon!”
“Their food, service and appreciation of their customers is superb. We visited 9 cities in China and ate at the best of the best. I was looking for a place in Tucson to compare and this is it. Have been back several times.”
“Looking for a place to eat on Valentine's Day, we found this one. We had a short wait, which was expected. I got the fried rice with everything. I always add a couple of over-easy eggs, which really help bring the flavors together. We also got egg rolls with rice noodles, which you put in a lettuce wrap with a sweet vinegar sauce. It was definitely worth it. We will be back.”
“A+!!!!!!!!!! Got the short rib sandwich and fries and both were perfectly cooked. The seasoning was wonderful. The fries were fresh and crisp. I'll be back again with all my pickleball friends from Udall!!!
*****Hope I'll be able to get a table when the word gets out :). ***** Kari”
“We love Kingfisher so much that we had our wedding there 4 years ago. So of course we celebrated our anniversary there last night! New owner Jackie and her wonderful staff saw to it that we had a wonderful meal, including a very special dessert. When Murph and his partner retired we were concerned about how the place would change but our subsequent visits have been wonderful. Highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates great food and fabulous service!”
“Beautiful resort. Not that touristy. I hate crowds. The spa was nice. The food delicious!”
“The food and service were excellent. Josh, Server, was extremely courteous and professional. I highly recommend visiting Persian Room and look forward to future visits to Persian Room.”
“We came by after the Rodeo. The place was packed but the atmosphere was fun so the time passed quickly for us to get a table. Prime Rib and Ribeye. We asked for rare, we got rare. Yum Yum.”
“Insane fusion and taste. I’ve ordered a lot of different things off their menu and all the pizzas are bomb. The real deal and nothing like it. We go sit down or order pickup. Had many people try it too. They never miss 🎯”
“Took our friends here for friend's birthday. Eric our server was fantastic. But even better the food. We all got steaks. Cooked to perfection. The live music 🎶 🎸 guitar player was a nice touch to listen as we ate. First time here, definitely not our last. 😋🥩”
“Food Server, REDANA, was Excellent. Delicious Calamari. Excellent Veal Parmigiana with homemade Pasta. Sauce was great. And Cannoli was fresh and tasty. We are from NYC. We have eaten in Little Italy. Your food is worthy of being served on Mulberry Street. Five Stars... PS After we finished my Birthday dinner, I played Billy Joel's song "Scene from an Italian Restaurant" while awaiting the Check. And the red and white checkered table cloths are a Great touch. They remind me of Louie's Restaurant in the Godfather movie.”
“I can’t say enough good things about this place. The moment you walk in, you’re magically transported out of the city and into the sweetest little patio oasis. Jo herself has greeted me at the door before, which tells you everything about the level of care here; her attentiveness is so rare these days.
The atmosphere is dreamy: lush plants everywhere, a peaceful koi pond, and even Lucky the cat making the rounds like the unofficial host. I’ve only been on nights with live music, but wow; what a treat. The musicians they bring in are phenomenal.
The drinks and food are just as impressive—beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I’ve been telling everyone I know about this place because spots like this are special.
Do yourself a favor and go check it out. I’ve officially found my new regular hangout.”
“*A favorite outdoor coffee/breakfast spot - I’ve only visited the cafe, not the restaurant*
This little cafe is one of my favorite spots to sit outside with a friend for a breakfast treat. Really the outdoor seating is the highlight here. I love sitting under the shade of the old olive tree and it’s so refreshing when they turn on the misters.
It’s also a treat to see the quality locally made goods they curate for sale. It’s very thoughtfully picked and they have exquisite taste that doesn’t feel at all intrusive. The location is also perfect for grabbing a refreshing drink, then walking around the historic neighborhood to see the shops and art galleries. It’s a wonderful way to spend a chill day walking around Tucson.
The food is decent with high-quality ingredients, but not memorable (I possibly have higher standards coming from Portland). In my opinion, it’s highly priced for the quantity and quality of what they deliver, so, while I appreciate the space, I’ve chosen not to order meals here anymore and stick to just coffee and a breakfast sandwich if it’s available. Their baked goods always look delicious, but all three times I’ve tried them, they’ve been dry and disappointing. Overall, I still love this little place for the atmosphere and find it to be one of the most enjoyable cafes to sit outside with a friend. I do wish the prices were more reasonable and the food/baked goods were good enough to keep me dreaming of my next visit.”
“This food is pretty good! got the chicken shawarma plate. Was done really fast, was kinda questionable how fast it came out. But the flavors are amazing, and definitely a lamb dish next time.”
“Staff was very friendly and the dining experience was great.”
“1st time was just two weeks ago, two friends that I haven’t seen in 20 years invited me to enjoy the food and atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the special food was but also the fabulous wings. I live in northwest Tucson but I will definitely make this one of my favorites. Keep up the good job.”
“everything was exceptional. probably some of the highest quality sushi that we have had in Tucson. We will definitely be returning. very friendly service as well.”
“Quesabirras and the Torta de Pollo was so yummy per my Hubby. The Bartender was so nice and the drinks were cold. My Michelada with Modelo was spot on. Go try.. 🍻👏😍🙃”
“Stumbled upon this cool spot on a rainy Saturday night when my usual spot was closed. I was pleasantly surprised to have such a refreshing menu of drinks and tasty appetizers. The music was selected for the scene in the ambiance was just pure chill. My friends and I had a great time and will be back in the future.,”
“Absolutely fabulous! Great ambiance and the food was amazing.”
“Loved it here! The atmosphere was so fun. We stopped by for some celebratory drinks and Jesus was the best! He was very knowledgeable about liquors and asked different questions regarding what we like, didn't like, etc. and ended up making us some amazing drinks! Definitely recommend a visit and if Jesus is behind the bar you'll have the best time (and drinks)!”
“I want to start by saying that I have never had any bad food or bad service since I have been coming here. Every server has been really good. I have to point out Karl, Ashley, and Gabe, as being exceptional in every way. This has always been a great place to relax and just unwind. If you try the Oracle/River location I am sure that you won't be disappointed.”

“Out waiter, Chadwyck, when out of his way to make sure my son and I were happy, and described the difference between hash browns & country potatoes so kindly. I would also like to comment on your bathrooms- so pleased to see a space for changing diapers in the ladies restroom, and all the rolls of toilet paper- BRILLANT!!! No one likes to get caught "with their pants down"”
“Went with my wife last Sunday- thinking that the prices promise equal or higher value in return (the secret of successful business). The beans were served in a big bowl 15 minutes before the steak- with one spoon. Don't know if they were supposed to be consumed with the steak? or before? So, we shared the spoon and the beans before the steaks arrived. I had T-Bone priced 48.00! Supposed to be 1 pound according to the menu. On arrival, it was paper thin! - for sure about half of a pound- if that. I have to say "hats up to the cook"! I could never cook a piece that thin to medium rare, but he did! About the ambience that looks attractive at first glance: 10 little kids running around screaming the whole time while we were trying to enjoy a fairly high priced dinner that did not meet our expectation of price = value (at least) at all. The place is very well staffed- they just have to figure out how to spread more evenly to serve their guests more sufficiently. Three people showing up at the table within 3 minutes for the same purpose- and then 20 minutes of no service. All of that after a "family business" has been there for generations? Come on!”
“When entering the restaurant, we were impressed with the cleanliness and our friendly waitress Jaime that greeted us with a smile. She was very friendly and accommodating to making us feel welcome. Jaime was johnny on the spot from beginning to the end of meal and checking to take care of our needs. we had egg drop soup that was unlike other ones that were watery and lacked substance. Egg rolls crispy and full of vegies. Had Chicken and broccoli that the lunch portions were like a dinner with some to take home. Good portions!! We will return again!! Thanks Jaime for making our visit one that we want to return!!”
“Delicias has turned out to be our favorite place to go to eat since moving to the area. There are lunch and dinner specials which are great. They serve large portions and the food is tasty. The bean dip served when you sit at the table is excellent. Delicias has the best margaritas we have ever tasted, including in Mexico. The staff is warm and friendly.”

“The service is among the best in Tucson, our server is always welcoming, prompt and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and specials, no matter who serves us when we go. The menu is expansive and everything sounds delicious, but I keep coming back for the chef’s creative specials. Wild Garlic truly has a unique and flavorful style when it comes to the beautiful food and the carefully crafted cocktails. To me, the price is more than worth the experience!”
“Speaking of El Charro Cafe, let me just say that the dining experience there was a gastronomic rollercoaster of delight. WOW! The food was insanely good, the kind that makes your taste buds do a little happy dance. The portion sizes? Let's just say you won't leave hungry, and the plate presentation is worthy of an art exhibit. The service and ambience didn't disappoint either; it was the cherry on top of our savory outing.”

“There was easily space for me at the bar when I arrived around 8pm on a Thursday night. I was pleased they could still accommodate my food order. The margarita was delicious, as was the Wedge Salad. For main, I ordered a special: purple cauliflower steak with Chimichurri sauce and buttery delicious vegetables. Great for special occasions, as it's definitely on the pricey end for Tuscon -- but 100% worth it.”
“Absolutely loved finally getting to visit their physical coffee shop—it’s such a fantastic experience seeing it all come to life! The space and menu are beautifully inspired by Persian flavors, and they offer a great variety of vegan and dietary-friendly options. I had the pistachio cold coffee (incredible!), and the owner suggested oat milk instead of almond—it was the perfect choice. I paired it with a pistachio cookie, and honestly, it was an unbeatable combo. If you’re anywhere near Tucson, this spot is a must. My wife and I drove 45 minutes each way, and we will do it again very soon.”
“So, I decided to try it out after leaving a job interview nearby. I was hungry, and I noticed it was across the street. Why not? The dining area is a bit small, but they have some seating inside. I believe two tables for groups of up to four as well as a bar seating arrangement against the outside window with about 4-6 seats—I can't remember exactly how many. There were four people ahead of me in line. Ordering was relatively quick and they pumped the food out just as fast. I ended up getting the Spicy and Potato corn dogs with the standard filling of half mozzarella cheese and half hotdog. They offer all cheese with a cheddar option and all hotdog for ~$1 additional charge. There were a few other options as well, but they are currently escaping me. These Korean style corn dogs were delicious! I believe the Spicy comes with the filling dipped in their Korean style batter topped with crushed Hot Cheetos and this sweet, tangy sauce drizzled over it. The Potato was the same just with chunks of potato in the batter. I really was pleasantly surprised! The dough is light and fluffy on the inside and very crispy on the outside. Got a crunch in every bite! Personally, I preferred the Potato one. That fried potato on the outside not only adds a little more flavor, but it adds more texture for that delightful crunch too. I was about to leave before I decided to get a slushie. I'm not big on sugary drinks, but I was pretty parched. I was already there trying something new, what's another thing? So, I asked the cashier for a recommendation. He said he liked the mix of the pineapple and fruit punch. A+ recommendation! It reminded me so much of those Shamrock Farms bullet pops I used to get all the time as a kid😊 overall, a great experience! I forgot to get the cashier's name, but he provided me with good service and had a nice attitude. Thank you!”
“Just came through with my sister we both got energy’s. Lanae took our order. She was AWESOME! She helped me decide what flavors I should do and it was spot on! She was friendly and attentive! Working in the service industry is not for everyone but Lanaes personality is perfect for the job! Would totally come back everyday to see her!”
“Best vegan pizza ever!!! So many options, fully customizable, and the nicest employees. They also have the best vegan ranch and dry all their herbs in house. They make their own vegan cheese and meat! The cannolis are piped fresh to order! They have an orange zesty twist. Robert is the GOAT and made our experience!
We brought our pizza to the barbershop bar next door and they let us eat there and gave us $1 off drinks!”
“Table side salsa is the best! Menu selection is huge and the food is so good! I had lemon butter cilantro salmon, muy perfecto! Personable management and great wait staff, highly recommend Guadalajara’s!”
