“Absolutely love this place. I’m a foodie and this is my favorite place to eat in Tucson. The flavors are bold and the ribs are cooked just right. The açaí place that’s inside the same building is also the best açaí place in town. My girlfriend and I have pretty much tried them all and we keep coming back to this one. The workers are all so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very laid back and inviting. The only thing the I wish they did differently is to SELL THE JERSEYS! I would 100% wear that around town and I’m not even a jersey guy, or even a sports guy. I just love this place that much. From the fresh flower with my food, to the side car of popcorn with my drink, made with a syrup they make in house. My husband's bloody mary was perfect too. Even the heart on the toothpick. Too cute. Service was exceptional. Caro took great care of us. Even recommended a drink, and it was delicious. We will definitely be back soon!”

“This place has authentic Sonoran style hot dogs. I visit Hermosillo frequently and love the “dogos” so I know what I’m talking about! The hot dogs here are more like Hermosillo hot dogs than any other place I have tried in Tucson! The only criticism I can offer is they need to try and find the Hermosillo style buns with the deep pockets that can hold more toppings.”

I love that there were several sampler options so I could try a variety of dishes on my first visit: rum flight (silver), Plato Mixto, and Taste of Havana were all delicious. Beautifully modern architecture creates a unique atmosphere for living and learning. Faculty offices onsite gives a sense of community. Loved the various spaces to congregate with comfortable seating to relax.”

The lady working was very sweet and nice (can't remember her name but she's the one that had plugs in her ears) very friendly as well. Fantastic experience and will be coming back again. Side note: There's an older male spirit/ghost that hangs out inside as well I saw. Very calm man and doesn't bug anyone, he's more of an observer . I'm also a psychic medium so most people won't see this man but waitress affirmed what I saw. All good vibes!”

“We live super close to licks and I love to always try a different flavor and there custom milkshakes are so good also, if you look to the right of the fridge and between the lounge area on the wall there’s a menu for a bunch of different types of ice cream like one is a peanut butter sorta vibe ice cream cone and also another amazing thing is there staff they are always so friendly, I highly recommend this if your driving by or if you are eating dinner somewhere near I definitely recommend stopping by.”

I had an Americano with oat milk, husband had Decaf Mocha Latte — both were delicious. We’re going back again tomorrow morning - early so we can hangout there a bit. Highly recommend.”

“First thing I say when we walk in, "OMG this place smells AMAZING!!", and tasted even better! Best falafel and gyro I've ever had!! I like that the falafel is patties instead of balls like most places. It was cooked perfectly..crispy crunchy on the outside, soft and almost cake-like on the inside. You get 4 cakes to the order plus pita bread, cucumbers and tomatoes. The gyro is HUGE!! I couldn't even pick it up to try and eat it until I ate some of the meat out of it, which btw, is flavored so beautifully that you don't really need the tzatziki sauce but definitely worth putting on bc the flavors of both go together so well! I HIGHLY recommend going to Istanbul if you want outstanding Mediterranean food in a good atmosphere! This place definitely get 👍👍 from this food enthusiast!!”

“This Tucson Sub spot never misses! Always HITS! They have a variety of sub options on their menu, as well as healthy choice options from wraps to salads. Don’t be afraid to ask about their secret menu options either! The owner recommended one today (see photo below) and it was absolutely everything I wanted in a sub sandwich. Great tasting ingredients, not shy of filling the bread up, threw that extra cheese just right, and had a spicy kick to it. I have tried a few different sandwiches on the few occasions I have returned, and some menu items I have revisited, always with the same love and preparation as the time before. Beyond the food, is the service. This Ma and Pop shop heart and soul is in its hospitality and welcoming feeling, and it directly reflects into the food they serve on a day to day. I have found no reason to go to any other sub place in town because, for me personality, this one takes the cake. Amazing people, outstanding service, delicious food, great value, all in one locally owned and operated location right here in Tucson.”

“You would not know it from the outside, but the inside is one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve eaten in in decades. Very friendly staff. Amazing wings, juicy and plump with lots of sauce, choices or dry rub. Loaded, tater tots, the prickly pear mule was a specialty drink. That was really tasty. Small family run locally owned place. I hope people support them. They deserve to succeed. Great prices. But one of the stand out offerings are their churro bites. They are incredibly unique not what we expected for the price. We thought we were getting the frozen mini churros. Instead they brought a serving of these long, narrow, thin very crispy little churros with a really rich deep, Mexican vanilla flavor with a generous cinnamon taste. Just the best churro I think I’ve ever maybe had and they serve it with chocolate sauce for dipping. Stop by and grab an order with a dozen wings. The wings are five dollars off a dozen on Wednesday. You can’t go wrong.”

I absolutely adore their weekly porch bake sales! I tried the challah bread and the single-serve caramel pineapple upside-down cake, and oh my goodness — both were divine. The bread was soft, fluffy, and perfectly balanced in sweetness, while the cake was moist and bursting with flavor. And don’t even get me started on the Their pumpkin spice walnut loaf — it was baked to perfection, with just the right blend of spices. Highly, highly recommend!

The service was friendly and the owner/chef went above and beyond to fulfill a special request.
I had the Bianca pizza which was super yummy. I loved the crispy basil and the chilies to add pizzaz the winner is it the most delicious pizza dough I’ve tasted. I’d just order that next time and dip it olive oil.
The other highlight was the almond cake!!!! Out of this world!!!!

The beans were served in a big bowl 15 minutes before the steak- with one spoon. Don't know if they were supposed to be consumed with the steak? or before? So, we shared the spoon and the beans before the steaks arrived. I had T-Bone priced 48.00! Supposed to be 1 pound according to the menu. On arrival, it was paper thin! - for sure about half of a pound- if that. I have to say "hats up to the cook"! I could never cook a piece that thin to medium rare, but he did! About the ambience that looks attractive at first glance: 10 little kids running around screaming the whole time while we were trying to enjoy a fairly high priced dinner that did not meet our expectation of price = value (at least) at all. The place is very well staffed- they just have to figure out how to spread more evenly to serve their guests more sufficiently. Three people showing up at the table within 3 minutes for the same purpose- and then 20 minutes of no service. All of that after a "family business" has been there for generations? Come on!”

“First, let me say that these wonderful people (Marlee, Christi, Tara, and the Tucson crew) went above and beyond to help me set up a surprise anniversary meal for my wife. That is just who they are. However, the reason that YOU should go to Sweet Tomatoes is that it IS Sweet Tomatoes. As others have mentioned, we have missed this restaurant since it shut down a few years ago. This Tucson location (the only one currently open in the USA) is perfectly representative of the Sweet Tomatoes that we love and remember. The food is so fresh and delicious. We had such old favorites like Tuna Tarragon and Caesar Asiago Salad. The soups and pasta dishes were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the Roasted Ratatouille Soup and the Coconut Muffins. The atmosphere was excellent as the dining area and serving lines were laid out in the same way as they were back in the day. The staff here are so professional, helpful and friendly. They are the best. If you loved Sweet Tomatoes before, you will be delighted with this Tucson location. Let's hope that they will be opening up in more areas of the USA soon.”

“Late post but my girlfriend and I visited your establishment on Monday evening around 7pm. We are from Ireland and we are also vegan. We were very excited when we saw this location on Google with vegan options but we had no idea that there would be such an awesome variety of vegan options! All of their classic pizzas they can make vegan! Even down to the meats! Best part, the ranch and Canolis are also vegan and made locally and in house.

We didn't know what to order, everything looked, smelled and sounded too good. Luckily, the staff is so welcoming and make you feel like you are just amongst friends. The cashier chick really seemed as excited for us to try all things vegan just as much as we were and she made sure we ordered the ranch and canolis! She and Robert also helped us decide on a compromise for the actual pizza when it came to toppings and their team work truly made the dream work!
You can tell that all three employees that were working Monday night have a passion for this place and it makes a difference as a customer to feel as welcomed as we did.

Now the taste... We've never had pizza this incredible before. I am still having dreams about it!

“Popped into Figs without any expectation or idea of what the concept was.
Sat at the bar without any wait and was immediately and warmly greated by Peyton.
Service was excellent, light hearted, and professional.
Enjoyed the Oven bread dish that had a fig spread, whipped ricotta and crispy onion, or shallot. Excellent.
The cocktail I had was delicious as well, I only wish I could remember the name!

“Sometimes when you walk into a new coffee shop, you can just tell they’re not only going to make they’re going to thrive. Hazel Coffee is that kind of place. The shop was busy, but in the best way..full of energy and happy customers. Despite a fair amount of customers, I got my latte quickly and easily found a cozy spot to sit with my laptop. Great vibe, great coffee. I’ll definitely be back.”
