We watched as tables were bussed and floors swept, then tables set with exacting placement of the table service. The pace was relaxed, we never felt rushed. Permission to remove plates from the table was asked every time to confirm that the patron was through with it. I had the Kalo enchiladas, one of the best presentations and very tasty. One of the best dining experiences in my life. Thank you

“This is definitely one of the top culinary experiences I've had in tucson! as a fat man, I take my food seriously and (besides the hyped up collard greens) I had the best meal I've had in awhile! food came out quick, and hot, our glasses stayed filled and the server, Kelsey, had a great attitude. the Brussel Spourts were perfect and came out quick, the cornbread was delicious (drip some of the Brussel sprout hotsauce on it) and the gumbo was rich and flavorful and the hushpuppies were perfect. crispy on the outside soft on the inside. The pasta, while good can be a little too fishy for some, but I enjoyed my little sample. the pickleberry pie i feel will be an acquired taste, that i acquired rather quickly. flaky crust, sweet and sour filling and a funky goatcheese with a good stank. i dont know how else to describe it. all in all must recommend this place.”

“Absolutely love this place. I’m a foodie and this is my favorite place to eat in Tucson. The flavors are bold and the ribs are cooked just right. The açaí place that’s inside the same building is also the best açaí place in town. My girlfriend and I have pretty much tried them all and we keep coming back to this one. The workers are all so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very laid back and inviting. The only thing the I wish they did differently is to SELL THE JERSEYS! I would 100% wear that around town and I’m not even a jersey guy, or even a sports guy. I just love this place that much. Thanks for bringing such a quality establishment to Tucson for our enjoyment!”

“This is by far the best wood fired pizza I’ve ever had in Tucson. The staff makes you feel welcome and the atmosphere was family friendly. We took some time to speak with the owner and the staff. They took great pride in what they served and how you felt while dining. The feeling I came away with was they took great pride in their ingredients and in their customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely go back.
Vegetarian options: The salads were outstanding and they serve a pizza called the Pammy which was prepared In a way that made the pizza look so appetizing and appealing.
Dietary restrictions: A wild variety within the menu which makes it helpful when it comes time to make a choice. The owner knows the importance of selecting quality ingredients and offers selections within the menu that can accommodate dietary needs.
Parking: Lots of parking with a very safe feeling to the area.
Kid-friendliness: We went on a Wednesday evening and the place was full with a mixture of people and several families with young children. Staff interacted with the kids and made the atmosphere very pleasant.”

“I’m staying at the Best Western/Hotel Bridgeway on Tucson Ave. the Indian Twist restaurant is attached to the hotel. Super convenient, fast and DELICIOUS!! There’s not many Paneer dishes, but I asked if I could sub the chicken in the Butter Chicken for paneer. It was no problem! I had Butter Paneer, garlic naan and the wonderful rice. I got mild spice and it was PERFECT!! I wish I could have this everyday! Friendly service, making sure that I didn’t need anything else several times. As I was eating several pick up orders were completed, and a couple others came in to eat. Everyone was warmly welcomed, not the canned ‘welcome in’ response that you get many places. 10/10 - would eat here everyday.”

I gave it a 3 star instead of a 5 star because they, again, left of tge sesame seeds on the Rock Bop. This is the 2nd time they have done on an order. The order, before this, they left out the sauce and sesame seed, which made the Rock Bop very dry. I am not looking for replacements or a discount. My family and I really like Cupbop. “This is the best bread this side of the Mississippi, yes, you read that correctly, it's the absolute best! We moved to the area 6 months ago and tried all the bakeries in the wrea, and now we go out of our way for Barrio Bread.
Our favorite breads are the Jalapeno Cheddar, Cinnamon Raisin, Pain Au Levain, and Heritage.
The owner, Don Guerra, is always there, he is so nice, and seems so happy to share his passion for bread. There is usually a line, but totally worth the wait.

Soooo good! The Lentil soup was amazing, had the Chicken Kori, out of this world. I could not resist the Baklava with hot tea for dessert. Definitely the best this side of Istanbul.

The horchata was delicious and a great way to cool down the hot pepper that came with the Sinaloense dog. Will I stop here again? No question about it. It's now listed in my Favorites list. I had the Bianca pizza which was super yummy. I loved the crispy basil and the chilies to add pizzaz the winner is it the most delicious pizza dough I’ve tasted. I’d just order that next time and dip it olive oil.

“First thing I say when we walk in, "OMG this place smells AMAZING!!", and tasted even better! Best falafel and gyro I've ever had!! I like that the falafel is patties instead of balls like most places. It was cooked perfectly..crispy crunchy on the outside, soft and almost cake-like on the inside. You get 4 cakes to the order plus pita bread, cucumbers and tomatoes. The gyro is HUGE!! I couldn't even pick it up to try and eat it until I ate some of the meat out of it, which btw, is flavored so beautifully that you don't really need the tzatziki sauce but definitely worth putting on bc the flavors of both go together so well! I HIGHLY recommend going to Istanbul if you want outstanding Mediterranean food in a good atmosphere! This place definitely get 👍👍 from this food enthusiast!!”

My kids didn't enjoy the lemon lime soda and there wasn't a single other option other than water, and none of the food was really kid friendly. The beer was good but I think the one I enjoyed most was not one made by MotoSonora, it was a Mother Road beer. “I visited Agave House as a site visit for an event. I sat at the bar and ordered Quesabirra Combo and Barrio Hipsterville (Hazy IPA). The food was amazing—the quesabirra tacos were flavorful, as were the Arros and Charro Beans. The braising jus was added even more flavor! I also had Agave House Margarita and the Jardin, and they were refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. The bartender and servers were all friendly and attentive. The ambience was also nice. I will definitely be coming back!”

A few toasted pine nuts for a bit of crunch and possibly a bit of chili oil or even a flavorful shaved cheese addition could punch this up a bit. We also saved the leftover balsamic dipping sauce from our bread order and drizzled it around on our Margarita pizza when it came. 😍😍😍!! This took this pizza to the next level! I highly recommend making this small addition a permanent menu change to this pizza! Also was really looking forward to the Caprese salad, but they didn’t have it available which is how we ended up with the zucchini. It was a bummer they were out cause while we were sitting there we heard 2 other tables trying to order it as well. Thanks again though for a fantastic Friday evening meal!”

I was upset, but purchased a bone in ham for my family's Christmas dinner. Jay called me this morning, apologized for the error, and offered to bring the ham to me. Since I was just leaving my house, I told him I would pick it up. I asked if I could return the other ham, he told me to keep it. When I arrived at the store, he wouldn't let me pay for it (the ham I ordered was more expensive than the one I purchased)! “We’re from Albuquerque. We were in Tucson in 2018 and Nico’s was just down the street from where we were staying. We stopped in for Nachos one day and were blown away by how excellent they were. Piled high with fresh ingredients… We have not found anything this good in ABQ. Fast forward to this week… you are back in Tucson. We could not remember the name of the restaurant but we had a good idea about where it was. Yesterday we went out looking for it and we found it. Nico‘s taco shop we went in we had nachos, a tostada & A carne Asada burrito. Sometimes a revisit, especially six years later, doesn’t live up to the memory. This was every bit as good as we remembered it for the past six years. We still have five full days left here in Tucson… We will definitely be back probably more than once.”

“Had amazing experience here with my family tonight! Food was out super fast, the owner Sunny had tons of great recommendations and suggestions from the menu. I was skeptical at first about the nest basket only having two tenders, but when they arrived at the table they were HUGE. The Tikka masala mac n cheese was also great sized portions for the price and the flavor was amazing. The fries were super crisp, not a single soggy fry in the basket! Definitely coming back here again and again!!”
