“Some places just enhance your experience in many ways. This place has good food for sure but also the touch of the owners to draw your sketches just elevates the whole experience. We came out for a lunch date after long time and this was one of the best dates we have had.“

On a Friday night there was around a 30 minute wait on the waitlist to get in around 9pm.“

The one less star for Food is due to the few occasions where the rice was either over-hydrated or under-hydrated. Other than that it is a good place to have lunch at. “Chef Hollie rocks!! She did a corporate event for me and it was so fun and well-received. She even accommodated gluten-free. I loved it so much that I will go back to her store to do a class. The cookies were so delicious as well as looked fantastic. Love getting to support a local company and boss-lady, a two-time Food Network winner to boot!
Ps- the bakery on Hastings is so fun and has lots of gluten-free options. Worth checking out 100%“

“My friend suggested we try it out as we were walking to my favourite restaurant a few stores down. Glad I did. Food was delicious and prices are good. Service was great and waitress was very nice and attentive. What was different was they have a few dishes I've never seen before like Deep Fried Pork Sausage Rolls and Ultimate Spring Roll in Salad Roll Definitely going back with family and friends.“

“An interesting option if you’re looking for something different. All of the staff were Japanese (or so it seemed) and the atmosphere was cozy. They had all of the standard sushi options as well as their take on Japanese-style pasta.

Regarding the pasta, the spaghetti alla vongole was served with linguine so that’s as much as I’ll say about that. If you can read between the lines then you’ll know what I mean; otherwise, I truly think you won’t be disappointed as the portion is a good size and they provide a generous serving of clams.

I liked the service and the presentation of everything. There were people of all walks and the restaurant was fairly busy on a weekday evening.

“I've been going to this bakery for years now, and I was so saddened to hear it'll be closing at the end of December :((
I swear on my life the blueberry muffins (and muffins in general here) are the BEST IN THE WHOLE TOWN I actively go out of my way to head to metrotown to have them! Everyone there has been so nice and I hope for the best for everyone! Some of my earliest memories as a teenager going on roadtrips to Vancouver has always been popping into Manzano, all the way to now ten years later as an adult who moved away from home.
Thank you so much for an amazing 25 years, you'd be surprised how many people are so affected by good food and small independent bakeries like yours!“

“I had never tried shaved ice until going to this super cute cafe —and it was love at first bite! The ube shaved ice bubble tea was absolutely AMAZING! The fine flakes of ice melted on my tongue and the ube flavour was a perfect flavour and sweetness. I greatly appreciated that I could choose my preferred sugar level. I also had try the chocolate flavour in the same visit, and was delighted by that one as well. I highly recommend checking out this place! The decor is adorable and the ice cream looks super tasty (I’m excited to try the Earl Grey!).“

“TOGO Sushi SFU is probably the best sushi option on top of Burnaby Mountain. The rolls are filling, affordable compared to nearby restaurants, and the interior of the restuarant is clean and bright. I have always had a good interactions with staff and orders come out timely. Solid spot!“

“Had dinner here and tried the Tamago Ramen, Cha-Shu Tamago Ramen, Gyoza, and Maruhachi Lager. The food was decent, though I personally wished the broth had been richer. I had high expectations, especially since the staff were all Japanese, but the gyoza definitely stood out, it was good.

Service was pleasant and friendly, just as you’d expect from a Japanese establishment. The interiors were clean and well maintained. The total bill came to $53 for two people, including tip.

“Whole foods here has a great lunch buffet especially if ok a carnivore or keto diet . There's also pizza and a burrito bar in back . Coffee and teas lattes are actually reasonably priced but pretty much everything's ng else is definitely pricey. Some items are ridiculous priced nearly double for same exact item from superstore . Eg hagan daaz ice cream is 9 dollars . They do have a good produce section . Whole foods you shop for quality not price .“

“Came here one evening after hearing about this place from a coworker. Walking in there, the atmosphere was nice & the stag was very friendly! We got our food after about 3 minutes of waiting.

I got the Deep Fried California Roll with extra sauce. The exterior was crispy & the taste was alright. Honestly it was about as good as “Mall Sushi” can get, so I was happy with it, but don’t expect this to blow you away. The sauce added a nice element as well & was tasty!

Overall, I’d give Togo Sushi a 7.8/10. Not sure if I’d go back, or if I’d trust anything else here, but it was about as good as I expected.“
