The price is reasonable so we can go out with the family. I don't know how the other menu items compare. The restaurant ambience is very basic but it is clean and service is fast.“

“I recently tried this viet stall in the public market and I’m really impressed. The whole menu is under $20 with most of the dishes costing around $16. I tried the daily combo ($12) which is eat in only and for the price it’s a really great deal. The springs rolls are fantastic - really crispy and not oily.

The lady who runs the stall is so nice and has the sweetest smile. I’m itching to come back to try some of their other menu items.“

“It was my cousin’s last day in town, and since she’s vegetarian, we decided to stop by this highly rated restaurant for a quick bite before heading to the airport.

The dining area is fairly small, and they don’t take reservations. The staff were very friendly and kindly asked us to wait a few minutes while they cleared a table by the wall for us. Ordering for the first time can be a bit tricky since you order and pay at the counter, but the staff were helpful in explaining the menu.

Once we ordered, the food came out quickly — and every dish was fantastic. I don’t usually eat vegan food, but the flavors were truly impressive: well-balanced, rich, and full of depth. The portion sizes were generous too.

We were all pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was. Their prices are very reasonable and even have a rewards point system, which is a nice bonus. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend this spot to any vegan or vegetarian food lover!“

“I went to Pho Tan because BBno$ said in an interview that this was one of his favourite places to eat in Vancouver. I can see why. Their peanut sauté beef pho is out of this world! I’m obsessed with it. It’s so good I highly recommend this place!!“

“Get the Large pho only if you're ready to do business! The broth was legit amazing and way better than all the other local pho joints and came with a decent amount of meat (2x what's shown in my photo - I already started eating before I remembered to take the photo). I'm a big eater and still struggled to eat 2/3 of it. In the end I had 1/3 of the gigantic large size left. The staff are all Vietnamese. The only drawback is that there's only paid street parking in the area.“

“Hong Phat is hands down one of the best spots for Vietnamese food in Richmond! Their hu tieu (#S1) and shaken beef (#F3) are packed with amazing flavor. It’s become my weekly go-to since I moved here. Ohhh their salted cream coffee are addicting!“

The one caution I have is that for their noodle dishes like vermicelli and noodle soup, is that they fill the bottom of the bowl with bean sprouts so you get less noodles and make it look like it's bigger than it is.“

My fiancee had the sweet and sour seafood soup and wow, three full prawns plus other seafood, a drink and an appetizer for 22.50. They had really tasty chili oil and, the wings were excellent. “My wife and I just had lunch at Pho Maxima and everything was absolutely delicious. I ordered the pork spring rolls and the beef ball noodle soup pho, and my wife had the chicken ball noodle soup pho; both dishes were incredibly flavorful and comforting.

“My Vietnamese friends told me this is a rare soup and hard to find. The fish cakes were very good and I’m glad they sliced them thin. I don’t know how I feel about dill in Vietnamese soup. The broth was a tad on the sweeter side but this is my first time trying it so I don’t know it’s authentically supposed to be the sweet. You can taste the fish/shrimp paste as a main flavor component.“

“Five stars and my new favorite pho spot! As someone who loves pho and grew up with my mom's amazing cooking, Pho Zen has exceeded all my expectations. I've now tried the special spicy pho, and it was absolutely fantastic. The broth had incredible depth and flavor. I've also had their rice dish with pork and chicken, and seriously, the rice itself was so flavourful on its own. The banh mi was so good too. I highly recommend this place. Everything I've tried has been delicious. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!“

We had the most amazing experience at La Chuoi Cuisine! I went with my best friend for her birthday, and from start to finish, everything was perfect. We ordered the Banh Xeo, Spring Rolls, and Chicken Pho — and wow, every single dish was bursting with authentic Vietnamese flavors. Fresh, flavourful, and made with so much care.

Harry and his brother Jerry are incredible hosts — warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about their food. You can feel their pride in every dish, and it truly makes the dining experience special.

“Came here for a quick bite. Located nearby Ikea Richmond. Shop is small with a few tables and some refrigerated takeout items but it's meant to be takeout mostly.

Order their #5 which is the special (dac biet) that has ham headcheese, sausage, pate & mayo. Also ordered their strawberry matcha drink. The banh mi was awesome. Bread was warm & toasty and the rest of the ingredients made the whole sandwich into perfection. The drink was also great as the strawberry went well with the matcha ... a combo I didn't think would work together. Would definitely be coming back here again in the future.“

“I love this little restaurant on Victoria Drive. It’s a great place to stop for a meal while shopping along busy Victoria Drive or coming here just for their delicious pho. I went with my mom and it wasn’t busy. The people serving us were very attentive and friendly. They helped us pick the right pho for us that day. It was clean and I had no complaints at all. The pho was absolutely delicious. Probably my favourite place so far for pho. Highly recommend. Parking can be an issue but tyres some parking in the back.“

“Had an overnight stay in/around this area. Read the reviews and gave it a try. We went around 8:30pm to eat. This place is busy and had great portions and very tasty food! It definitely did not disappoint. Will definitely come here again when visiting the area. People were trying to get a table even at 9:30pm, at one point they had to turn away customers as they were preparing to close for the evening.“

“best bahn mi I've had in Van. The bread and pate shine. Baguettes are very crispy and flakey, while not being too hard like others. I'm not the biggest fan of pate but this place's is great. You can also reheat by pan frying it but I find it makes it even more salty.“

The chef even offered a large bowl specifically to make it easier to mix in the hospital room. That level of care warms my heart. “My boyfriend and I go to this pho place about 3-4 times a week. It is the best pho place I’ve had in Canada, and I’ve tried various pho around the provinces. Hell, around BC nothing beats this place. Absolutely amazing, the noodles are so delicious, the broth is perfection and the meat is amazing. I couldn’t recommend a better spot.“

“I’ve usually had Southern Vietnamese pho in the past, and while this isn’t my first time trying Northern-style pho, this visit left the strongest impression so far. It really elevated how I see Northern pho. The broth was fresh and light, and you can actually taste the different vegetables and herbs—it’s unique and very refreshing. It doesn’t even need chili or hoisin sauce to enhance the flavor.

The restaurant itself is small and simply decorated, but it feels authentic and cozy. Most of the customers looked like local neighbors stopping by, which gave it a very genuine, community feel.“

The hair, while not ideal, I understand is a mistake and it happens sometimes. However, the plastic shard could have been pretty dangerous if we didn't find it.
