“Super nice staff, insanely good prices. We just randomly arrived on a cold day as we were hungry and it was nearby. They even moved out a table for us as there wasn't any open at the time. Loved the Yorkies and yam fries. They mistakenly gave us extra fries too and just let us have it free. Will definitely consider going again if I'm in the area.“

“We had a great experience at Cactus Club. The steaks were cooked as we all wanted. The drinks and selection were great. We splurged and had the desserts London Fog Creme Brulé was excellent. Our server Lara did a great job, and checked in on us from time to time to make sure we were good.
Because we went on a Saturday around 6 PM, we made reservations just in case it was busy enough to be waiting. We would come back to this location again.“

“Had dinner with some special friends on Sunday night and the evening was so enjoyable. We were greeted and seated by Dani the Manager who was able to seat us in a quiet cozy table. We enjoyed the crispy chili tofu, warm spinach dip with perfect garlic bread, and california rolls for appetizers. Following this was an amazing variation of mains from the cajun over roasted salmon (amazingly tender), tuna poke bowl, truffle tortellini, and the black truffle butter steak. We were there for about two hours enjoying our meal. Our server was wonderful, and we never felt rushed or ignored, despite the night being very busy. Overall, I was so pleased with the evening and look forward to our next visit.“

“THE PERFECT WEDDING VENUE!

It was an absolute pleasure to have had our wedding at Riverway. We have constantly gotten compliments on how nice the venue looked, how great the food was and how amazing the atmosphere felt. The venue itself requires very little decorating because it is so beautiful on its own. Bradley, the Riverway coordinator, worked with us a year in advance to make sure the day went as smoothly as possible and coordinated with our wedding planners at Pearl Collaborations to ensure that we had nothing to worry about on the day of.

We could not have asked to have worked with better people and be at a better venue than Riverway :)“

“Best burger I have ever tasted! Pizzas as good as any top Italian pizzeria. Brunch was excellent. Basically every dish is elevated but prices are not. Great service beautiful restaurant Chefs pride is tasted in every detail on each plate.“

“Made it in time for Happy hour last night and it feels like I ripped them off as I had a meal and a drink and my bill came up to 25 bucks. Oh I ordered the cauliflower bites and the avocado roll. Both really tasty and fulfilling. The drink was a passionfruit smash or something along the lines of that and it was also very good. I could see myself drinking too many of those. Never a good idea. But over all I would Def go back again.“

“When you think pub, this is what it should be. Frendly staff, the manager comes and makes sure everything is good. Even runs food when they got busy. The food is fresh and trendy. Large TVs allow us to watch the hockey game from anywhere. It's not cheap, but the value is on point. The only thing that could be improved, the drinks were slow tonarrive considering it was not that busy the nights we were there. Its a solid choice for a night with friends or familly.“

“This Brown’s on Glen has incredible service, Incredibly compassionate staff, and their food, especially the blackened chicken cowboy salad is like it used to be and back to phenomenal….yum… the chicken was so so tasty and tender …yummy! We were there the last week in May and while the service was slow it was still great!! The manager came by and apologized and also insisted he pay for a couple of drinks for us. Even though we insisted on paying as we simply appreciated him apologizing for the slow service. We had a great discussion about how hard it is to staff restaurants. I can’t recommend this Brown’s enough. Great place to go with two people, a small group or a large group.“

“Anny’s Dairy Bar is the best place to try amazing poutine and smoked meat sandwich without going to Montreal. Actually, I think it’s better than a lot of places we tried in Montreal. We shared the smoked meat sandwich and regular-sized poutine and it was the right amount of food for two people. The cheese curds in the poutine was delightfully squeaky, the gravy was deliciously viscous and the fries were nicely crispy. I’m slightly more partial to the smoked meat sandwich, which used soft bread and the most tender meat, pairing nicely with the pickle. Don’t sleep on the maple ice cream - it’s so good.“

“Me and my husband wanted to try out the food here, so we ordered a takeout. We got the Shanghai noodle with chicken, curry beef, honey prawns, honey garlic chicken, spicy deep fried chicken, and tofu beef soup (I dont remember the exact names). The price for all of this is reasonable I would say, but we did ordered a lot. All were delicious and filling! The portions were just right, not too small or too much, which is what I like. We will definitely come back here when were craving for Chinese food! Sorry I couldn't take photos, we ate the food immediately when we got home.“

“Celebrated our convalidation and my 3rd daughter’s baptism reception at Burnaby Mountain Restaurant on April 11. We had a buffet and our guests loved the food. Our guests enjoyed the bar service as well. The ambience was cozy and elegant. We love how it overlooked the golf course and the little pond. We had the patio open as well and it became a great space for kids to run around and play. The sound system was great — we played our own music! Overall, we had such a great time and would highly recommend Burnaby Mountain Restaurant for any gatherings or celebrations. The banquet was big enough to have a photobooth as well. “It’s a very nice concept and you can pick what you want. Choose from noodles, veggies and meat. Tofu and 9 different sauces to choose from. Only problem is that the flat heating plate they use for everything, if you are vegetarian, they will make same on the same where they made the meat one. They should have kept half of the plate for vegetarian people.“

“Food was really good, we had the yorkshire pudding to start and got 4 instead of three. I’d recommend sticking with the three it comes with because one was hot and three were cold. For mains we had fish and chips and chicken caesar wrap. Drinks were Nats lager (spot size of course) and a red sangria and rose sangria. Definitely try the sangrias. Server was nice and provided good service even when busy. Overall great experience.“
