“Always fun great good. The food was so extra good the last few times I have been there. So consistent. The new sticky chicken appetizer with fresh bean sprouts. My steak was grilled to perfect medium rare with roasted mushrooms and cowboy salad is a personal favorite. The staff is friendly and efficient. Reasonable prices with something you don't see often anymore.“

“Joey's has been our go-to place for celebrations. I brought my kiddo when she was in a high chair and she still loves it nearly 2 decades later. Everyone in the family has a favorite dish & desert here - they make the best chocolate lava cake but also have a personal apple pie with a choice of vanilla or maple walnut icecream.We were offered sparkling wine on arrival and asked if there was a special occasion for our visit by the wait staff. Even though the physical space hasn't changed much over the years, and the washrooms are overdue for a refresh, I'm still always satisfied with the level of service and quality of food.“

“we were a large group with 2 booths and a table. our server was Alex and he was welcoming each of us with a smile. He was very fast and efficient in his service skills. To handle a large group of over 18 people, he did a tremendous job. The food was good and the atmosphere wonderful. There is underground parking which is so convenient and you can take an elevator or the stairs right upto the restaurant.“

“I went here with my partner for my 32nd birthday! Right from the start, we were greeted warmly and I was excited to tell them it was my birthday and they were happy to have us! Our server was very attentive and kept checking on us regularly! We started off with the Avocado Dip which had incredible flavour plus the added lime finished it off and I actually liked the pico de gallo (I don’t like it usually). I had the Taste of The Tri-Cities taster menu for my main with the Zen Roll (which is one of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had), the Steak Frites (the kale salad was refreshing and steak was cooked perfectly and very well seasoned). My partner had the Grilled Dijon Salmon which was my favourite dish of the night! The soy-Dijon butter sauce was delicious and the cut of steelhead was cooked beautifully (I was tempted to trade the rest of my steak for her salmon). I took the Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Bar home with me as well as complimentary New York Cheesecake. We love coming here and this visit was a very memorable one. Portion of food could be larger.Parking: On north there is an underground parking for the park and hotel. $2.5/hour. Maybe cheapest around this area. Remember you lot number after parking.“

“I've visited this Cactus location multiple times and have tried almost every item on their menu. While Cactus may not be exceptionally extraordinary restaurant, it earns a solid 5-star rating from me due to its remarkable consistency. The food and drinks always meet a reliably high standard, and the service is consistently pleasant. If more restaurants maintained this level of quality, dining out would always be a great experience. The atmosphere is inviting, and the food quality is consistently good. The staff, including waitresses and hostesses, are always kind and patient. Moreover, the ambiance is good for various occasions—whether you're inviting someone on a date, enjoying a dinner with family, or just watching sports and having a few drinks and appetizers with friends.“

“I'm not a very social person. I would prefer to stay at home to watch a game.Browns is an amazing place with an amazing atmosphere. (Tj?)was our server and her service was impeccable and she was very punctual. The food was amazing, and the gyozas were so good!!! With all the screens to watch sports it sure made it easy to watch the game!The 2nd time we went to watch hockey,we had reserved a table with the most amazing view of their big screen. “Simple and good, nothing fancy except what a diner from the 60’s would have on the menu. Sitting down at small tables, you have the choice of views, one is the parking lot, and the other is one of the two indoor ice rinks where hockey teams play and practice. The nearby conversations are as interesting as are the people. “Old timers” who love the game and come here to talk sports while enjoying a smash burger made to perfection, or a tray of gooey mac n’ cheese, or even perogies. You gotta love it!You won’t break the bank here, but you will enjoy the food; and maybe a blueberry lemon slushie!“

“Celiac friendly, lots of gluten free stuff on the menu. Somewhat weird choices though, like mortadella pizza with pistachios and fig glaze. Not bad per se, just not traditional. Drinks are fantastic and very creative, I didn't know what to pick there were so many interesting things! Service was friendly and fast. It's the nicest place around the area for sure. “My dinner was the featured Truffled Parmesan Chicken, which came with arugula, mushrooms, and gnocchi. The small dumplings were less soft than desirable, but the chicken and sauce were perfect. Worthy of ordering again, for sure. My partner's plate was Butternut Squash Ravioli with prawns. Regular diners at Earl's have enjoyed that Feenie-inspired dish for years. It's always good. Service on this Sunday evening was fine but the room was too loud. My phone's decibel meter measured a peak of 95 dB with an average in the high 80s. The U.S.C.D.C. says levels of 80dB to 85dB can damage hearing with one to two hours of exposure. While diners may experience a low risk of damage, staff members are likely affected. Restaurant chains aim to have high noise levels and make design choices so that sounds are not moderated.“

I took my granddaughter to the gift shop to see if we could find a Mother’s Day gift for her mom. The prices were good. We found something and she was thrilled to have a secret gift for her mom. “I moved into the neighborhood recently from North Burnaby which has an excellent food scene. I’ve eaten here a couple times now, and everything was excellent each time. “Our friend group recently hosted a small surprise birthday party at Burnaby Mountain Clubhouse in their boardroom. From the beginning inquiry process, to determining menu options and overall timing, including having to reschedule our date, Ella and her team were beyond helpful and exceptionally flexible and understanding in supporting us while planning our event. Ella and Mandy were very responsive throughout our communications, and Mandy and her staff were so helpful with the details during the morning prep before our event began. Stephanie was attentive to monitor and replenish our buffet foods during the event, as well as exceptionally taking care of each guest table. Very pleased with our experience and highly recommend this venue for whatever event you may need to plan — this is a great team you can trust to support you to help make your vision come to life, with beautiful options for spaces to accommodate different group sizes, and lovely floor to ceiling style windows for amazing natural light. Our privacy was also respected and maintained during our event. Seating is comfortable and even though I was sitting in the middle, I enjoyed glancing out the window for the view of the golf course. I enjoyed my meal—good portion. The servers were very professional, genuine and attentive (and not pretentious). I did not feel pressure by the servers or excess hustle and bustle like at steakhouses and high end restaurants. Good for special dinners with family or friends. Parking outside is sufficient.“

“Visited Wild Fig a few times over the past 6 months. Found the service hit and miss based on who was on shift. Always friendly but usually we found there was only one main waitress servicing the entire lounge during happy hour on a weekday which sometimes causes lack of service. Food is tasty with great prices during happy hour 4pm - 6pm. We also tried prime rib Wednesdays special in the winter which was great. Free parking in the attached garage if you list your vehicle info at the Executive Inn front desk. Hotel lobby washrooms were surprisingly clubby with the purple low lights. You will be surprised how you feel transported into a plush-like establishment when you walk into the Wild Fig lounge.“

I honestly don’t enjoy going out much, and although I don’t ever speak up or complain I feel like it’s been a long time since I’ve been to a restaurant and everything’s just been enjoyable all throughout. This was one of those rare nights! The margarita flight was so yum and same with the sangria. The ribs, dill pickles and Yorkshire beef deep were also literally perfect. The sour dough toast that they used was so good. The avocado were perfectly ripe. Eggs and hash were amazing. Everything was perfectI had an amazing breakfast.
