“My experience is pretty good. I was greeted by a pink haired little lady who greeted me with a smile and was so excellent at quick conversation. I wish I got her name, but I’m pretty sure it was Micaela, because I heard a server calling her that. Our server, I believe was Jamie, was exemplary at quickly giving us our food while multitasking all of his other tables. The only thing I could complain about was the prices of the food, but the food was so. Dang. Good. I think overall the staff is what makes the experience and this time; I think the staff made the experience not only great but perfect. Amazing atmosphere as well, definitely come here for a good photo with your friends.“

“We had our Christmas party here. Chicken dinner with a vegetarian option. The food was fine as was the service. I was surprised that a dingle glass of wine was as expensive as it was as the legion has always been famous for reasonable drink prices. Still, this is a nice location.“

“Had dinner with some special friends on Sunday night and the evening was so enjoyable. We were greeted and seated by Dani the Manager who was able to seat us in a quiet cozy table. We enjoyed the crispy chili tofu, warm spinach dip with perfect garlic bread, and california rolls for appetizers. Following this was an amazing variation of mains from the cajun over roasted salmon (amazingly tender), tuna poke bowl, truffle tortellini, and the black truffle butter steak. We were there for about two hours enjoying our meal. Our server was wonderful, and we never felt rushed or ignored, despite the night being very busy. Overall, I was so pleased with the evening and look forward to our next visit.“

I had the perogy breakfast and it was so good. Eggs poached perfectly. The pierogies were creamy and so flavorful.

“We were a table of 10 celebrating our mother's 89th birthday and really enjoyed the entire experience. The venue has a lovely ambience and the $59 three-course menu is a great value. Almost everyone had the striploin and lobster, and we all found it delicious. The service staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially our server, Tootsie. She realized from the start that many at the table would want hot water instead of cold (Asian preference) -- so we did not even need to ask. She also checked in on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. Making a reservation for our large group was easy too, with someone responding within 24 hours to email (unlike another restaurant I tried). I will definitely recommend Riverway Restaurant to others!“

“Jess’ Fine is anything but just fine. The appetizers were really good! Especially the whipped feta salad with the beets, I never thought I would’ve enjoyed those beets as much as I did. We stopped in to order take out to bring with us back to the hospital, when the bartender learned this he gave us a desert to bring back to our sister who had just given birth. “Went to Browns SocialHouse for dinner the other night and it did not disappoint! I had shredded lettuce wraps on rice and it was made to perfection. The Caesar I ordered was also delicious. The beef dip was really tasty, it came out piping hot and was seasoned so nicely. The staff were great. Very friendly and knowledgeable.“

“First time in Coquitlam and the Cactus Club Cafe was recommended by a friend. We went at 1 PM and it was still busy from lunch so the 5-10 minute wait was acceptable. We were seated in the heated patio and our server was an absolute delight. Drinks & food were ordered at the same time. As we were waiting I noticed very nicely plated meals being served around us and really good looking cocktails. Our food came out quickly and was also plated very nicely. Two Chicken Pesto Quesadillas with Truffle fries and one order of Baja Fish Tacos with Truffle fries. All three of us had the same complaint. the Quesadillas and the Tacos were very light on the dressings. I could barely taste any sauce on the Tacos which made them dry & the Quesadillas had very little pesto, which should be a prominent taste. The fries were nice but not hot, just barely warm, in fact the parmesan wasn't remotely melted. The Garlic Aioli was absolutely divine tho! The patio was warm and comfortable on a cold day and the music was at a good level to still hold a conversation as the table. I will definitely go back at a slower time to see if the food can get a 5 Star rating. Definitely a great place for lunch, drinks or dinner and the service was excellent!!“

“Had the pleasure of meeting a friend for lunch and we had great service from our server (sorry I forgot his name). We both had the legendary burger bundle and was cooked well and tasted great. We especially liked the Mango Strawberry Lemonade and perfect for these hot summer days. The fresh blueberry pie (felt like the blueberries were freshly picked) and was perfect for the ending of a great meal.“

“Not for picky eaters
The Dine Out Menu for this restaurant is a gem. I brought my retired father here for a birthday celebration. After all, it's golf club themed, and for my meat-and-potatoes loving dad, the elevated American fare seemed both safe and special. Plus, he picked it himself out of the many many options in Dine Out. Unfortunately it was a miss. Writing some important info here for other Dine Out eaters.
1. For Dine Out, there is no other menu. But four solid entree options seems like enough, right?
2. They are occasionally out of the meat-and-potatoes dish. No lamb is very sad, but there are other great options. Except maybe if you have an inexplicable dislike of mushrooms and seafood, which were both excellently prepared.
3. There are no substitutions
4. There are surprise ingredients not listed on the menu, which I think are generally lovely, but not great for picky eaters. For those people, yes there is relish in the KMC sauce on the burger, and no you cannot take it off. And yes, the creme brulee has coffee in it. It goes wonderfully, unless of course you don't like coffee.

In summary, I had a lovely great-value meal, and my dad had a bit of potato soup and half a burger for $60. So if you have a picky eater, maybe stay home and make him the box-mix birthday cake he truly wanted.“

“It’s a very nice concept and you can pick what you want. Choose from noodles, veggies and meat. Tofu and 9 different sauces to choose from. Only problem is that the flat heating plate they use for everything, if you are vegetarian, they will make same on the same where they made the meat one. They should have kept half of the plate for vegetarian people.“

The owner is so kind. It is empty usually because it is a little hidden. On the corner of 12th street and 5th Avenue. Where the golphi’s sign is.“

“Great food with large portions and friendly staff. The pictures others posted the plates seemed smaller but they are actually quite large. Loved the pita bread, very fresh and soft. The ceasar salad was tasty as was chicken and rice. Potatoes were a little plain but otherwise cooked nicely. It was fairly busy today from people watching the Blue Jay's game.

I came to this restaurant as neighbours spoke highly of it. I lost one neighbor late last year (Diane) and it was her favorite restaurant next to Ambit.

I will be returning here and so will a friend who treated me to dinner and drinks. We both thought it was a wonderful place. Though both of us admit we thought originally it wasn't a restaurant based on its name.“

They give you plenty of portions here compared to other White Spot locations. Service is a little slower since they tend to serve more senior customers at this location, but it’s nice not feeling rushed during your meal here.“

“Met up with friends for late but and beverage, we sat in the high top area for the city view and to be seated away from family's with really young screaming kids. I haven't been to milestones in a decade, there were new items on the menu however I noticed the portions have decreased - butternut squash ravioli was 6 pieces, the vegan bowl was okay - the vege protein was a bit limp and cold, cauliflower bites were good. Good service, we stayed past closing, they didn't ask us to leave right at closing - really appreciate that.“
