“We decided to drop by & order take out food . It only took 20 minutes wait , then went back to my car but my car won’t start on the first day of snow& was very cold. I called BCAA but it will take an hour & a half to arrive. Went back inside the restaurant & told the lady, she said ohh your food will be cold, offered us a table to eat( no dine in ) & gave us hot tea & bottled water. We are very thankful for their hospitality & kindness. It showed the true meaning of CARING.“

“This is our go-to restaurant whenever we don’t know where to go, we know the food here will always satisfy our cravings! I highly recommend the clay pot rice, it’s a must have! The rice is crispy on the outside and so flavourful with their customized sauce and meats! Just make sure to order it right away since it takes about 30 minutes to make.“

“I came here two weeks ago for the first time. They have really good marinated meat and "dai bang" - which translates to Big Bun. Tastes really good, really fresh! Drove back today just to buy it again, and had their signature sausages. 5/5 Stars!!“

“Stopped by for a snack after getting some groceries and they had the best original rice rolls we've ever had! The soy sauce wasn't too salty, the rolls were perfectly tender yet slightly springy, and the sesame seed topping was a nice touch. Really liked the side of peanut sauce & oyster sauce too!“

“This is a takeout restaurant only, there are no tables to sit at. The food here is always good and the service is always prompt, I ordered in advance and it was ready when I said I would be there. I highly recommend this restaurant for good quality Chinese food at a reasonable price.“

“Everyone in our group was really happy with both the flavor and quality of the food. They serve dishes you don’t often see in other restaurants, and they know how to make them right, like the Chinese pickled long beans with pork, which is a family favorite! The spicy sour fish was also spot on. It’s a small place, but very clean, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Highly recommended! The
excellent customer service from the hardworking staff is truly appreciated. The food is
delicious, and this place is always bustling - a testament to its popularity, especially for its
famous Siopao, a favorite among Filipino food lovers. Be prepared for a line, but it's well worth the wait!“

“This pizza, it is absolutely phenomenal and the price is incredible. The driver even brought me a plastic cup double cupped, because I had ordered a two liter seven 7up. It was the perfect addition to my large pizza. Then add the delivery. And it only came up to twenty seven dollars. I'm being on a budget after moving.
It was the perfect addition to a very tiring night and day ..... I give this place a thousand percent rating of perfection.$$$$$$“

June. 12/25:
We live in ND and we were pretty panicked about finding a replacement since our favourite Cantonese style local restaurant closed.
Located close by in Surrey, Main Choice has been mentioned quite often in our FB community group.
The present owner of 6 years appears to make the deliveries.
Katie our server was super friendly and absolutely accommodating of our preferences (1/2 soya, no soya and no extra MSG), double checking a few times.
As this was our first visit to this no frills (some might say hole-in-the-wall) restaurant we were pleased to see their prices are much better than most chinese restaurants.
We ordered specifically to compare to what we’re used to and happy to say we’ve found our new favourite that’s a short 10 min drive from home.
The Beef Chow Fun is easily close to $30 everywhere else…their price $16.45 was as good as any we’ve had.
Also ordered: Spicy Green Beans $15.50, Special Fried Rice $15.25 and Honey Garlic Spareribs (bone in) $17.75.
No tea charge.
Dishes came quickly one after the other and delicious.
Seems they mostly get take-out and delivery orders.
Located in a strip mall with limited parking.
All forms of payment accepted.“

“I ordered take out, and ordered eight dishes to share with seven people, and the food was delicious, and we all enjoyed it, but the to go containers are too small of a portion for the price and to feed everyone. Hopefully they get bigger containers.“

“The portions are so generous and so warm when taken! As well as very affordable! When I spoke Cantonese to the ladies they get so happy and just to let most people know, Cantonese people may sound a bit aggressive and want to get things over with however in Hong Kong it is more like that. It is their style of being fast and efficient and they don’t mean to be rude. In Chinese standards, Hong Kong people are one of the best people at doing business. It’s just a cultural style of working.“

“The deep fried lean pork slice with sweet and sour sauce was amazing. The beef stir-fried noodles recommended by the server were also incredibly delicious. The restaurant was quiet since we were the only ones there. I’ll definitely come back next time.“

“First time eating there in person , been satisfied with my Uber orders in the past so was curious to try it in person, restaurant was lot bigger than what I was expecting seeing it from the outside. Food was delicious, and I would say just order any dish that has shrimp and you will probably be impressed.“

“Love the sushi. The Toro and Salmon nigiri have the biggest cuts of fish I have seen other than the Tokyo Fish Market. The restaurant accidentally forgot to throw in one of my rolls on a takeout order, and they delivered it to my house in less than 10 mins… felt more like 5 mins.“

“Arrived ready to dine in for the first time since 2020 restrictions.
Only to find out 'Dine In' is NOT an option.
(Ordered take out instead)
Good:
Staff super friendly and kind
Killer Wonton Soup & House Ginger Beef
NOT so good:
we ordered 'House dry garlic & spicy Squid & prawn (w/shell)'
Staff asked squid or prawn? (Not squid & prawn).
We chose squid hoping it would resemble a Salt & Pepper Squid dish.
Sadly, it did not.
Nothing like a Salt & Pepper Squid dish.
Zero blame/fault to Fong's on this.
Dish was cooked properly (not chewy).“

“Delicious food! Better to dine in than takeout, as the food is hot, fresh, and crispy. The portions also feel bigger for dine-in, but we also do takeout as well.
It can be a little expensive as we've been going to Chongqing for many years (for the Surrey location and others), but also understandable for our current economy
The tea is delicious and the dim sum is also great! (Again, hot and fresh!)“

“It was really authentic couple's lung slices. As soon as I took a bite, I knew I had come to the right place. The slices were thin and very tasty. There was no fishy smell. Not too spicy. After eating it, I felt quite comfortable. I felt that every pore was back to the street Bashi in Chongqing. board“

“Had dinner there with friends some 13 people. We got the private room. My first time there at suggestion of friend... found the restaurant really nicely done up in a more modern Chinese restaurant style. The food was really good overall. I live in Richmond and definitely comparable to if not better than those considered top Chinese restaurants in Richmond. Highly recommend!“

“I love this Manchuwok, in my own personal opinion I enjoy it better than the one at metrotown. Especially their Salt and Pepper Fish, which is what I generally order and its always been consistent and better tasting than the Salt and Pepper Fish over at Metro.“

“Tried this place upon my friend’s recommendation. The food wasn’t very quite authentic in taste and the spice level is pretty good as per south asian taste.
I tried veg Nepali chow mein and Manchurian gravy.
The servers were extremely polite and accommodating for my needs.
I would highly recommend you try the food here.“

“Been getting my filipino food here since 2008 and sure the price went up now its 2023 but the quality of the food never changed everything taste how i expect it to taste. For the past 15 years i still drop by to this old, clean and simple restaurant. Unfortunately as of this year they don’t do dine in.“

“I recently visited this Chinese restaurant and was blown away by both the food and the service. Every dish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked with real attention to detail. The flavours were authentic without being overly heavy, and the portions were very generous.
Our server Sania was warm, attentive, and made great recommendations—everything came out quickly and piping hot. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming atmosphere.
Highly recommend the wonton soup, chicken chow-mein, chicken fried rice, ginger beef, and spring rolls. I’ll definitely be coming back. 👏🥢“

“Ordered catering trays for a celebration and it was our first time trying Ken’s Cafe. We will only be ordering from Ken’s from now on for our family events!
Food tasted fresh, perfectly seasoned, and healthy - even the fried wontons and squid were light and crispy without being greasy. Everyone at our party commented on how good the food was - even my hard-to-please parents and picky children loved the food. We had plenty of leftovers and were excited to eat it again the next day.
Service was great from start to finish. We ordered on the phone a couples weeks before our event, I was able to conveniently pay by phone. We also got a phone call 1-hour before pickup confirming our order, which was very helpful! At pickup, the owners helped us load the food and even gave our kids free handmade chocolates to enjoy.
Highly recommended for large orders. Thanks a lot. 🙌“
