“Found this hidden gem by chance while driving around Tsawwassen Mills. We were looking for something with rice and noodles, and this one came on the signboard. The menu is pretty good, covers all basic Japanese food you can find in Vancouver, and taste is great. I will say is a comfort food for Japanese food lovers. The highlight was sushi tower, with tuna, salmon, ebi, imitation crab meat, avocados with special sauce. Ambience is quiet and spacious, and the staff were amazing, attentive and polite. It was a good experience overall. Thank you Kamome staff!“

“Good poke bowls and it’s great that they now have mini bowls as I can’t usually finish the regular one.Store is easy to miss, because it’s on the side next to the pub. Maybe invest in signage facing the main entrance to the plaza to get more foot traffic.“
“We've heard good things about Illuminate and finally visited, and we weren't disappointed! Great service from start to finish, from the host to our server Sarah. The food was delicious - grilled calamari with pickled fennel, lamb sirloin with risotto and t-bone steak with scalloped potatoes and vegetables. Citrus creme brulee was yummy! Sarah was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, she went above and beyond. We will be back.“
“Four of us ate here on a Sunday evening in July and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was very helpful, especially with regard to the local beers, and we took advantage of the variety of cuisines on offer. Each meal was well-cooked and tasty.“
“I read an article about Frank's food truck and thought to try his food and give him a support. I love that he is serving fresh local food that either he catches or buys from local fishermen. I tried salmon sandwich Cascadian and it was delicious. It is not cheap but this is high end food. Will come back for sure.“
“Good view, decent prices, decent options. We were seated quickly which is great, however, it was very clear that this was the first nice long weekend of the year and the staff were either under prepared or management dropped the ball and hasn't hired and trained a suitable amount of staff for the incoming busy tourist season.Honestly I would come back for sure, I just hope that the staffing levels improve by then.“
“The fried potato was not good and coleslaw was like convenience food. The waiter Bam was killing it, we enjoyed so much with her attention and attitude. I can say the general vibe of the place is super nice! I will visit for main dishes if Bam is there when I visit!“
“I’ve noticed that the quality of food /preparation of the food has decreased from recent years. The atmosphere is still great as always and it really helps that the staff is so accommodating. We’ve sat in Drew’s section a few times and he’s always so helpful and provided excellent service. The experience would have truly been subpar if it wasn’t for Drew.“
“Sharkey's is your classic, old school, plenty of locals, kind of place that serves terrific food along with exceptional service. Sorry no photo's but trust me, the food is fabulous and for ambiance, it simply doesn't get better!“
“I joined friends for lunch there after travelling on the ferry. It was a wonderful relaxing time and we sat on the patio. Our server made sure we had lots of umbrella coverage for shade. I enjoyed the battered fish and spring salad. Fish was prepared perfectly with a light crisp finish and very fresh. The salad was an excellent combo of flavours and made a nice refreshing choice with the fish. Great meal and rest on my trip back to the interior.“
