“I highly recommend Hunnybee! Wonderful breakfast and brunch options served in a cozy space with an informal and hip vibe. Vancouver’s best breakfast sandwiches and possibly the world’s best ricotta pancakes - they’re to die for. And in the evenings Hunnybee puts on taco and wood fired-pizza nights with a lively atmosphere. Small wonder that the place has a dedicated customer base.“

“Visited Bahar after seeing a friend post on IG about their drink that came with a little coconut pistachio treat. They said it smelled so good in there, had a warm atmosphere, and that the owner was lovely.

THE HYPE IS REAL! Ali at the counter was so cheerful, helped me find some dairy-free treats, and even introduced me to the owner. They said they might eventually have more options. All the pastries looked and smelled amazing, I was incredibly jealous and also grateful.

Loved the lil macaroon that came with my matcha latte (they have dairy-free milk options), and the almond cookie was so soft and chewy (but strong!), great for dipping into an unsweetened drink.

It’s a small/tight space but they do so much there and it’s amazing to see. Definitely will come back when in the area!

“This was the first place we came to check out when we arrived in BC for a vacation and it was the one I looked forward to the most because of the name and what it stands for, Animals Matter. Damn rights they do! I love the concept and clearly it's really popular, the place was full and people were coming and going nonstop throughout our stay there. I had an issue tasting the bacon that got drowned out by the rest of the food on my croissant, but the staff are amazing and asked if they could remake it for me. I didn't want a whole new second sandwich, I felt that was too much so I just asked for some bacon on the side so I could actually taste it. So I left happy after that.“

“The first time I tried Turkish food Pide and yogurt drink Ayran. There's a lot of cheese inside the boat-shaped bread and it's delicious ♡♡ I've tried the ones with chicken, beef, and spinach, but personally, I like cheese the most (^^)

Kid-friendliness: There was also a high chair for infants, so we could enjoy our meal slowly (^^) There was also alcoholic beverages and ice cream for children, so both parents and children were satisfied!“

“This is the best bubble tea place downtown. I had the milk tea 50% sweet and no ice, my partner had the milk tea with brown sugar 50% and no ice. My partner and myself both agreed the drinks were very tasty and plan to come back. I also liked how the menu wasnt filled with a million items, which could lead to analysis paralysis. Just the basics which they did very well.
Place was also clean. Would recommend“

“Today was a one man show operation. Bravo! Everything in the everything bowl was al dente. Perfection. Broth? Tasted wholesome, not riddled with MSG to achieve flavour. Tasted healthy! How refreshing ☺️ I was blown away.

“Great little hidden cafe. Very cozy and nice! The owner is very friendly and clearly values all customers who visit. The pastries and goodies are EXCELLENT and the Tomato soup is delicious! However I do wish he had a few more offerings for food. The sandwiches are fine, but are a bit generic and could be a bit more interesting... especially considering everything else is very unique and high quality! All and all a nice spot though. It's kind of easy to miss the spot when walking by, but you will enjoy your experience if you take the time to go in!“

The latte itself was weak, not sure what’s up with their beans. They still need to get a bit more organized, as they don’t have a trashcan or a place where you can add sugar to your drink, and it took them a very long time despite being empty.“

“Love Deja Brew! I eat here at least once a week and we often place large orders for the office. My favourite is the Buddha Bowl, Power cookie and Oatmeal cookie. Mia, Sue and the rest of the Deja Brew team are super friendly and outgoing. I would highly recommend this place to others.“
