“The food was great — loved the fried chicken and the rice cakes. The overall atmosphere was nice too, and the K-pop music added to the vibe.

However, there was only one server at the front. She had to handle seating guests, making drinks, taking payments, serving dishes, and cleaning tables all by herself. It was clearly too much for one person to manage. The management really should staff more servers.“

“A great local, great daily specials, full happy hour feels with an amazing array of locals that will fast become pals. The bartenders actually do know your name on your second visit, and full of charm. No politics, a packed trivia night on Wednesdays and don’t let the stove behind the bar fool you. It’s a limited menu however the quality and portions are winners. I used to make the best nachos, until I tried them at The Brighton. It doesn’t matter who makes them, if you are a fan, it’s the Brighton or Jackalopes. Give it a try“

“Many good times back in the day. Can't really talk about any of them. This place was lawless. I've taken a couple serious beatings outside of this place. I've also given some. But good times were had by all! Once had great prices on meat, cheese, batteries, and bikes too!“

“We went for the Sunday roast - the service was great, we had a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon that was lovely and the gravy was divine. The only let downs were the peas were rock hard and the beef was quite tough. The taste was good but but definitely overcooked, and I tend to always go rare so could just be a preference thing but I'm not sure I'd go for the beef again.“

“I went on a Friday evening for the first time. It hit crowded and we had to sit in the entrance. Other than that staff held the crowd in balance and everyone was eating and the food is scrumptious.
Atmosphere is Soothing after a week of work.

“Been in here twice now while on visits to Vancouver. I'm rating this place as a dive bar and as dive bars go, this place is great. Friendly bartender. Clientele are either pleasant or indifferent to your presence and not causing any issues. Pool table is straight and drinks are cheap. I'd recommend to anyone wanting to check out a safe dive. Props on the exterior signage!“

“My fiance and I ate here last night. We were walking downtown and discovered it, and we were hungry so we went in.

A beautiful place with cool decor, and a nice, calm atmosphere.

We ordered the dirty fries, calamari, and a chicken burger. Holy crap.

The food? 20/10. Most phenomenal fries and calamari I've ever had. So fresh, crisp, and the calamari wasn't rubber at all. My fiance's burger was light and crispy, and so flavorful.

We will 1000% be coming back. Thank you!“

“I have had the pleasure to DJ many weddings at this affordable venue. The space is clean and bright. The garden for ceremony is beautiful too and the food is amazing. Service is always on point and super friendly :)

“Came in for hockey and karaoke on Thursday. The staff are super friendly and drink specials are competitive - compared to most places in Vancouver the price is very good! Food prices are also fair - I didn't eat but plates looked great. Considering there's a strike going on, they still have a well stocked bar.“

“Watched game 7 here. Our waitress was awesome and so kind the whole night despite how busy it was! Great atmosphere. Lots of TVs and reasonably priced food and drinks. Good location in Kits. Yummy pizza place beside the bar. Once went to a birthday here and it was awesome. So sad watching the jays loose. Some might even say that the better team lost. Anyways, great night. Definitely recommend Biminiee. Super awesome.“

“Popped in to the Kings Head this afternoon. Our second visit as I am visiting family. Had a great afternoon sat in the sun when the clouds would let us. But no matter as the heaters were on and kept us nice and toasty. Had some great wings & fry’s all washed down with some Cider. Served by Christina who’s new to the role but destined to be management in no time, attentive without being overbearing. And made us feel right at home. Will definitely be back soon… cheers guys“

“The first time I came here was 6.5 years ago with my brother. We really enjoyed our visit. On Halloween this year I brought my husband. We had maple old fashioned and shared a giant soft pretzel with mustard and dill sauce. Its still cosy and inviting.“

“I've come in here a few times, the prices are fair. No matter what you buy it's a good price!
There's usually lots of people that come in here, the liqours always cold.
I appreciate that, I would rather travel further for colder beer but this place is cold right off the bat !“

“Went for Easter Monday lunch. Food was awesome, I had the roasted turkey sandwich and my friend had the Cajun chicken sandwich (she was able to get it dairy free). Both were really tasty and great portions for the price. Workers were also very kind. Good seating options and bathrooms. Def would come back :)“

“The food and service is decent, but there is one female server, short with dark skin, possibly mixed filipino asian, that seems sort of standoffish, talking with an annoyed tone. I didn't even do anything wrong. She acted like that the whole time. However, the server Zoe was very nice and attentive.“

It’s authentic & unpretentious, and frequented by folks that are non-mainstream / unconventional / alternative (to use the limited descriptors we humans use 🤣). The bar staff have always been friendly & real. The interior is stylish & creative without trying too hard. The indoor space has lots of places to sit as well as a small dance floor / audience area with a stage - and fun ceiling decor! Live music shows & DJ nights of various genres happen regularly, from jazz to metal. The outdoor space is a hidden gem of the city, as it is fully covered & fenced, making it cozy, private & sheltered from the elements. Highly recommended“
