Olivia G and Sasha are two of the kindest all around human beings I’ve interacted with. They accommodate for my food allergies every visit. They consistently show up ready to serve at a moments notice. That’s what it takes to be elite. Now for the food. The menu speaks for itself, as it offers unbeatable appetizers with cutting edge main courses. Give this place a try. You heard it from me.“

“So many food options during World Cup, needed a quieter pub (I know that sounds like an oxymoron) with the other louder pubs/bars along Granville, but our hotel staff recommended after seeing their directory listing.

Sensational flavours, the sweet and sour was the best, original was just OK.

“Randomly came upon The Brighton, walked in and immediately felt a New Orleans vibe which was delightful. A good ole dive bar feeling where one can relax and be yourself. The staff were amazing, specifically Hubert who provided a laid-back vibe and very good conversation while I sat at the bar. Hubert was working hard pouring drinks and making Nachos for a growing mix of ppl coming from the Lamb of God concert. The 2 girls waiting on customers were also pleasant and down to earth. The music was an eclectic mix of old school rock all the way to the 80’s, 90’s and current metal. Loved it! The place was open late with No Pressure to get during last call. If you’re in Vancouver go, see Hubert at The Brighton before or after a concert at the Coliseum, or a drink to sit back and look at all the awesome memorabilia on the walls.“

“We were a party of five to celebrate Father's Day this year. I can't believe it took me this long to find this gem of a pub in Kitsilano. The brunch food was delicious, the portions were generous, the prices were very affordable and the server was friendly and attentive. She had a good memory remember our orders. We will definitely return.“

The service was excellent, and our server was absolutely amazing! He was a tall, dark-haired gentleman—I believe his name was Matthew—and he really made our evening. His joke about “Scotty staying in the corner” was absolutely out-of-this-world hilarious and had us laughing so hard. 😂 It's those spontaneous, memorable moments that really make great service stand out. “I went there to watch the World Cup today, and I had a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, and both the beer and the food were excellent. The Beef Ragu was especially memorable, it was so delicious that I'd happily come back just for that. I also really enjoyed the dark beer. As a sports pub, it had a great atmosphere, and watching the game was comfortable with excellent views of the screens. I'll definitely be back!“

“First visit to this pub for a private event. Casual atmosphere, with tables and counter space, making it a good venue for a party with mingling! Reasonable food prep time after ordering at the counter given the size of the group there. Had the veggie nachos ($15) and chicken tacos ($10). The peppers gave the nachos a good kick! Good sharing food. The tacos had a lot of diced veggies, but the soft shell made it hard to hold together and it was a messy eat. For pub fare, it was a decent taste overall and as expected. Pleasant servers, who also came around to remove empty plates and glassware. The organizers of our event are regulars at Village Pub, so recommended it as a venue. Nice experience!“

“Popped in to the Kings Head this afternoon. Our second visit as I am visiting family. Had a great afternoon sat in the sun when the clouds would let us. But no matter as the heaters were on and kept us nice and toasty. Had some great wings & fry’s all washed down with some Cider. Served by Christina who’s new to the role but destined to be management in no time, attentive without being overbearing. And made us feel right at home. Will definitely be back soon… cheers guys“

“Our favorite place when we would be stressed with school work! Large patio as well - great for summer hangouts. Super close to wreck beach and foreshore trail. You have to pay first and then they bring food to you. Tipping before even trying the food is a little interesting.“

“Great venue with great atmosphere. Its not what you would expect looking from the outside. Food is meh but its a music venue and it does that well. Lots of games to amuse you between sets, sweet lighting. Id go back to watch a show for sure.“
