“Their food was truly remarkable!!! Aside from the amazing food and how fast their service was, the Japanese atmosphere was truly warm and welcoming. The atmosphere was so richly designed with Japanese artifacts that I felt like I was dining in a restaurant located directly in Japan.“

“The sushi and sushi burritos were amazing! My husband isn’t usually a fan of sushi, but he said this was the best he’s ever had.

However, we encountered an issue with tipping. It’s not mandatory, but after we didn’t tip, the waitress seemed upset and made it clear to us. I believe she even mentioned it to the kitchen staff, as they were giving us a rather unwelcoming look. It was quite an unpleasant experience.

I don’t understand why tipping has to be expected. When we visit a place, we anticipate receiving good service for what we pay. We tip when we can, based on our budget, so it was disappointing to receive such a negative reaction for not tipping.“

“I stopped by this cozy spot on Marine Drive one afternoon and the experience surprised me in the best way. At first it looked like a small ramen restaurant from the street, but once I sat down I noticed how warm and welcoming the place felt. I tried a bowl of miso ramen and the broth was deep and full of flavor that warmed me up right away. I also ordered a plate of tonkatsu and it came out crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside which made every bite satisfying. The people working there were helpful and explained the menu without rushing me, which made ordering easy and stress free. Around me I saw others enjoying their meals too, and it felt like a spot where locals come back again and again. I left full, happy, and thinking about my next visit. This is a place that takes classic Japanese comfort food and serves it in a way that feels both delicious and comforting for anyone who loves good food.“

“The food was absolutely delicious! I got the Economy bento box and it was a great value for money! The food is super authentic and i saw some dishes ive never seen before at other Japanese restaurants. The staff were friendly and brang out the food quickly! All prices were pretty fair and portions were large. Definitely is my favorite Japanese restaurant in West Vancouver and would come back here again!“

“Me and boyfriend wanted to celebrate my citizenship ceremony. We were thinking of going to this place long time ago together as I went with my friends before. This was my second time and I really love their fried chicken and fries combo! They are very fresh and crispy. All the foods we ordered was good but highlight of this meal is definitely fried chicken. Thank you so much Ssal we had very nice meal“

“I had a craving for sushi and decided to stop here at Kin Sushi which I’ve been to a few times already. It’s a small restaurant with friendly staff. I ordered the Favourite sushi combo and gomae. I was served quickly and tea was also topped up regularly. Everything was fresh and very nicely plated. It’s a very popular place for takeout as guests were rolling in the whole time to pick up orders. The only knock I have was that the washroom floor felt sticky, the dining area is very clean though. I do recommend this place and will continue to come back.“

“We almost didn't go in, because there were all these negative reviews about sushi. That sushi place is not there now.

Loong's serves above average Chinese food. I'm no expert, but I enjoyed it. We had the noodles with XO sauce (they subbed chicken for pork), and the Sweet & Sour Pork.

They deserve 5 stars, to balance off the irrelevant reviews for the former sushi place, that used to be at this address (get your act together, Google).“

“I love this restaurant since they were in North Vancouver. Now in West Vancouver is more convenient for us, we usually go together as a family. Let me recommend the dishes that we have tried: Beef teriyaki bowl ( by far the best that we have tasted in Vancouver), Spicy Don, Aburi sushi, and most of the maki’s sushi. The service is so friendly, the atmosphere is great and the new restaurant building is so fancy. Regarding pricing is fair enough for the quality of the food.“
