“They finally have a gluten free menu! My family has been ordering take-out and dining in at Penang for at least 10 years now and they've always been super accommodating and knowledgeable of my gluten intolerance, modifying dishes for me, etc. Thanks so much, guys, you know it means a lot to me! The owners are friendly and service is always great. My go tos are curry prawns, Thai chicken or tofu, House Special Fried Rice, and Mixed Vegetables, but I'm excited that there's so much on the GF menu to choose from now.“

“We got set menu for 2, it was all we could wish for, every dish different flavour, crispy tofu which I dipped in hot sour soup. Soup was thick full of veggies and hot and sour, not always the case. Chicken fried rice very good, broccoli beef tasty, sweet sour pork in delicious red goey sauce, couldn't help myself not to lick it up. I thought the serving us the soup out of big bowl was sweet. Next time ginger beef....“

“First time dining here. It was tasty and fresh. Very pleasant. We were a bit concerned as there have been some negative reviews and the place was empty of customers when we arrived but our fears were soon put to rest and we enjoyed our meal. Thank you“

“My dad and I went there for lunch. The House Special Chow Mein was quite large for $16.99 and was flavourful and had shredded bbq pork, shrimp, and egg, etc. My dad is Cantonese and had been craving Chow Mein and this hit the spot for him. We also got the Ginger Soup Beef Vermicelli. I thought the bowl was small when it came out, however it was actually deeper than I was expecting and loads of noodles. The beef was velveted beef and it had some carrot, broccoli, and zucchini with it. The broth itself was light and subtle, tasting of fresh ginger and a hint of sesame oil. Due to how clear and subtle the broth is, I don’t feel guilty drinking it, like I would if it were heavily salty Pho broth (the soup at Ken’s is nothing like Pho, so don’t order it if that’s what you’re hoping to get). I almost finished all of the broth and had to take the leftovers home. When getting it to go, I was kindly given more broth to take home separately. A super nice bonus since I loved the lightness of the broth, and it was packed separately from the noodles so they wouldn’t get soggy. The place was tidy and clean and service was great. The music and volume of it made it feel quite trendy. I’m surprised it wasn’t busier as we went during lunch. I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu. I was told the soup can also be adjusted to not include sesame oil as well, so if told in advance, I believe they could accommodate allergies/food sensitivities since everything is made fresh.“

“We decided to drop by & order take out food . It only took 20 minutes wait , then went back to my car but my car won’t start on the first day of snow& was very cold. I called BCAA but it will take an hour & a half to arrive. Went back inside the restaurant & told the lady, she said ohh your food will be cold, offered us a table to eat( no dine in ) & gave us hot tea & bottled water. We are very thankful for their hospitality & kindness. It showed the true meaning of CARING.“

“I was worried because there were a lot of bad reviews these days, but I was very satisfied with the magnolia I visited after a long time.
The sweet and sour pork had a nice sweet and sour sauce that was faithful to the basics.
I also enjoyed the spicy fried rice.
And of course, Magnolia is Jjamppong. There is no need for this place. It is just a place to eat Jjamppong.
One of the most difficult foods to eat in Korea these days, the taste of Jjamppong is so fascinating.
To be honest, I personally think magnolia's weak point is the Jjajang sauce (a somewhat old style with a combination of saltiness and lightness).
Even if you order fried rice, the Jjajang sauce is not tasty?
it's okay. All you have to do is eat the Jjamppong soup.
Are you feeling greasy from eating too much sweet and sour pork?
it's okay. All you have to do is eat the Jjamppong soup.
Jjajangmyeon is a bit plain?
it's okay. You can just add some Jjamppong soup and mix it with the dish.
Personally, I prefer Jjajangmyeon, but at Mulan, I eat Jjamppong instead of Jjajangmyeon.
Everyone, please come and eat Magnolia Jjamppong.“

“I came here two weeks ago for the first time. They have really good marinated meat and "dai bang" - which translates to Big Bun. Tastes really good, really fresh! Drove back today just to buy it again, and had their signature sausages. 5/5 Stars!!“

“This pizza, it is absolutely phenomenal and the price is incredible. The driver even brought me a plastic cup double cupped, because I had ordered a two liter seven 7up. It was the perfect addition to my large pizza. Then add the delivery. And it only came up to twenty seven dollars. I'm being on a budget after moving.
It was the perfect addition to a very tiring night and day ..... I give this place a thousand percent rating of perfection.$$$$$$“

“This little hole in the wall restaurant (6 tables) is one of my favorites. Have been coming here for over 30 years. The owners have changed but the food is always good. Ginger beef and spicy green beans with added garlic are two of my favorites along with a, bowl of steamed rice. A lot of delivery calls so it is usually not hard to find a table. I apologize for the pictures as they were taken halfway through dinner.“

“Food was absolutely amazing but what was even better was the service provided by Komal and the team. If you want amazing food that too affordable then Diya is the place for you! The cooks are from Uttarakhand and are very sweet and accommodating! Highly recommend!“

“I just got back from the Okanagan where we had “BC’s (allegedly) best Chinese food” in Peachland, and I am not exaggerating when I say Hang Lee Wok is 100x better! The flavours are there, the portions are generous, the price is fair, and the ladies working the counter are always so sweet! I could not recommend this place more!“

“Authentic and fresh Chinese cuisine with outstanding service! The food is served quickly, always flavorful, and never greasy. Each dish is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. This family-owned gem has its roots in Hong Kong. A must-visit for anyone craving delicious Chinese food with a genuine, homestyle touch.“

“Oh my goodness, this place was amazing.
The portion sizes and quality and taste of food was amazing.
Their "lunch" combos come with enough rice to split easily between 3 people.
We went for Dim Sum with 8 people. We definitely over ordered but we were happy to all have leftovers.
Some of our favorites were the curry rice, the spicy radish cakes, the salt and pepper squid and a veggie and tofu stir fry dish.
We will absolutely be back.“

“Was decent Chinese food. I had the deep fried tofu, which could have been crispier, but was tasty. I appreciated that they also substituted their egg noodles for rice noodles in their mushroom chow mein, albeit for a nominal fee. The Buddha's feast was tasty, and veggies were cooked well.“

“Guy name Calvin is very rude. He is expecting tip for takeout food too. If you ask him for one more hot sauce, he gets so angry ? and tells you to buy the hot sauce for additional five dollars. So greedy and very poor customer service. Will never order food from there anymore.“

“I have been going to this establishment for probably 15 to 18 years since they opened. I now live on Vancouver Island and I make a point when I come over to actually go out of my way and stop and go eat there. They always make sure you never leave hungry and it's very tasty“

“I love this place, staff are great, portions are generous and the food is made with care. Quality is high, prices are very reasonable! The specials are your best bet but I got a dragon roll and a salmon avocado roll. It’s the best “bang for your buck” in the area by far.“

“It was really authentic couple's lung slices. As soon as I took a bite, I knew I had come to the right place. The slices were thin and very tasty. There was no fishy smell. Not too spicy. After eating it, I felt quite comfortable. I felt that every pore was back to the street Bashi in Chongqing. board“

“Went to The Bund, February 12. Went for dinner. Sat on patio. Heaters kept us warm. Had pineapple chicken, Shanghai fried noodles, and beef and greens. It was all amazing. The couple who own it and run it, are beautiful. My new favorite restaurant.“
