One thing that sets Vpho apart is that they don't cram their tables together like some other Asian restaurants, so you have plenty of space to relax and enjoy your meal. Plus, there's lots of parking available, which makes getting there easy. The restaurant itself is clean and well-kept, which adds to the pleasant dining experience. I tried the Chicken Wing with mild spicy sauce, and it was surprisingly good—tender and flavorful. The Beef Bone Pho was outstanding; the meat practically fell off the bone, and the soup was warm and yummy—perfect for a chilly day. Although I didn't try it this time, they have a cocktail menu, which sounds intriguing for my next visit. The restroom is nicely remodeled, but it could be cleaner, which is something they might want to improve. The menu has noticeably improved, we were seated promptly, and our server Zac was the kind of hospitality professional who makes a meal memorable. The xiao long bao have thicker skins, and while I personally prefer the thinner ones from Din Tai Fung, these still have plenty of soup and aren’t bad. The dumplings, mushroom pork buns, chicken pan-fried dumplings, and spicy beef hotpot were all solid and tasty, though not particularly outstanding. The sea bass dish can often be mishandled in restaurants. Our two orders all came out perfectly done, crispy tops and tender inside without being undercooked, can be wonderfully pared with either black rice or Jasmin rice. The restaurant's décor and ambiance are relatively low key and neighborhood (gem) oriented. “I recently tried Mala Town 麻辣烫, and it was a fantastic experience. The best part is being able to customize your own bowl — you pick exactly what ingredients you want, from fresh vegetables and tofu to different meats and noodles. Everything tasted very fresh and the variety of options was great.

The broth was rich, aromatic, and perfectly spicy. It had that authentic Sichuan-style mala flavor — numbing, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. You can also adjust the spice level, which makes it great whether you prefer mild or extra spicy.

The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The restaurant was clean and well organized, making the whole experience very comfortable. It’s a great spot if you’re craving authentic Chinese comfort food.

“Momos are delicious. 10/10. You cannot go wrong with any vegetarian momos. Be it steamed, baked in a tandoor, or saucy (Jhol).

Breads are well-made to perfection. Curry was good, nothing spectacular. I look forward to trying other curries.

The dine in experience was excruciating. We were offered the pappadam immediately after we were seated. We waited 30 minutes for the momos (appetizer) to arrive and another 40 minutes after we finished momos for the main course (1 curry & 2 naan).

While we patiently waited 60+ minutes in total for our food, there were plenty of to go orders slinging out of kitchen every 2-3 minutes. I suspect this restaurant prefers takeout (they also offer discounts for takeout if I remember correctly).“

“We have been to Venus Cafe a couple of times Oder the past years and we are always satisfied with the food.

We were initially going to get take out but a few tables were open and employees were really welcoming so we decided to dine in.

Today we got their Big Brother with white sauce only and the Braised Beef Egg Noodle Soup. The soup came first so we shared it and enjoyed that while waiting for the baked item which takes longer to make. The baked item is a bit heavy so we also decided to share it. The Big Brother dish was very creamy and tasty. The chicken was very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

The employees were very attentive, portions were generally good and food was affordable. Overall a great experience and family friendly restaurant.“

I tried three flavors and all were great. The second day I ended up ordering some drums too which were a hit with my kid.. we got the soy garlic, the Korean BBQ and Yangnyeom. There is a subtle difference between all three of them so I honestly didn’t know which was which while eating them but can honestly say that ALL of them tasted incredible.

The lady who prepped my order was incredibly sweet and really helped me get my order ready. She even helped me get the right sauce as well as clean it up when it got messy. I know I am gonna be ordering from here soon over and over again!“

“This has become my favourite place for noodles and dumplings! Their noodle quality is fantastic - very much like hand-pulled noodles, they have that beautiful lightly chewy texture and the flavour of their sauces are good too.
Xiaolongbao are good quality as are the wonton in chili oil, but my favourite is the beef noodles, they make the best lunch or dinner.
Prices are great for the quality you get - if you're hungry, check the portion sizes because they're on the smaller end compared to what you might expect from westernised places, but for me this makes it super easy to have a few dishes to try at a time!
