“I almost NEVER leave reviews but I have to after eating here. The owner and chef, Johnnie, was up front and went over some of the different options to chose from. He was absolutely awesome! We settled on a chicken parm sandwich with bbq chips, the fried chicken with ginger rice, and my son had the pastrami fries. We all LOVED our food. My wife let me have a bite of her chicken parm and it was one of these I have ever had. I will definitely be going back and hopefully I can sit on their back patio and enjoy some more food. Highly recommend!!“

Delicious skewers, would definitely come back!
I really liked:
- Lamb Skewer
- Lamb Rib (not the large one, was a little salty but very good)
Pretty good:
- Chicken Skin Skewer
- Chicken Heart Skewer
- Roasted Eggplant
- Smashed Cucumber
- Boiled Potatoes w/ Chili Sauce
Would probably not order again:
- Beef Skewer — Perfectly fine, but not as fatty / tasty as the Lamb Skewer.
- Pork Belly Skewer
- Fried Bun — Pretty crispy outside and much larger than a typical fried bun, my preference is just smaller buns.
- Pancake w/ Beef and Sliced Beef in Chili Sauce — Slightly on the sweeter side.“

“Char Siu pork plate was decent but not phenomenal. I like the juiciness of the pork and a lil crunch on the skin. Decoration was cute, cucumber pickles were rotten/had a bit of foul smell. Not sure if it’s worth $23-24 after tax. I can easily get this dish at a Chinese restaurant or Chinatown for cheaper.
I also wish the eggplant salad had less sauce because the aroma of star anise or sth was too much for me.“

“Popped in for lunch to check out the newly opened H&T and loved it. The brisket was delicious with a side of Vaquero beans that packed plenty of flavor as well. I could see the bar is well stocked with a great selection of spirits as well as a bunch of quality local beers on tap. Points as well for having a quality N/A offering. I received fast and very friendly service. Looking fwd to visiting again soon and wish this new business the best of luck as it was obvious that plenty of heart & soul is invested at heads & tails.“

“Could not take a vacation in USA without eating BBQ. Memphis Minnie’s was everything we expected. Good American style bbq. out of the box slaw and tasteful moist meat. If you’re in San Francisco this is a must visit place.“

“Pete's is a gem in the BBQ world. Out here for a bit and stumbled upon this amazing place. Ribs 10 brisket 10 sausage 10 collards 11....the bbq sauces are unique and amazing as well. Unsuspecting place with just great BBQ. You can't go wrong with it. Highly recommended“

“Coleslaw is slamming. Sweet tea is delicious and flavorful. Dino rib juicy and tender. Barbecue sauce not too sweet. Perfectly tangy. Potato salad good, cools off your tongue from the hot sausage.
Nasi Goreng, yum.
The line was fun, people are cool. You can have a good time there.

We ordered brisket, hot links, ribs, and
potato salad the first night. All super good. Great flavor! Mild bbq sauce is really good. The next night we went back for brisket, chicken and Mac-n-cheese. Oh, and the cornbread is yummy!“

“Every single meat cut was cooked to perfection!! The menu is also designed very balanced, with vegetables and steamed eggs between meat courses to balance out the flavors. Chris helped us grill the meat and he’s such a delight to chat with!“

“This place has the best 90s pop playing, and the staff are friendly and generous (we got some complimentary tastings). The beef bbq, army stew, and kimchi fried rice were yummy. We tried #18 (Loco Moco) and #1 (Hawaiian BBQ Mix).
Gravy (way) too salty. I'd ask for half as much.
My partner got an extra side, since the BBQ Mix was a dry rub.

“On my way to the Bayfair farmer’s market I saw a guy bbq out on the sidewalk today. After the market, I decided to stop and long behold I found this place! 😄. had the delicious “Thank Que bowl and lumpia”. So fresh, tasty and delicious! I will be back.....thank u Chef Rene!“

“We eat here about once a month. There’s a large all you care to eat selection, service is fast and they have decent list of beers to go with all the meat. The only problem we’ve had is that their scissors aren’t sharpened- that’s ok, next time we’ll bring our own.“

Picture is their wonton and egg noodles with Peking duck pretty good. 11.00+ unfortunately, they haven’t allowed dine in since the start of the Covid pandemic. “I recently had the Lau Lau…it was delicious. I need another one. I’ve been coming here for about six months now. I was a bit apprehensive due to the few complaints, so when I initially went I went in person. It’s a grease spoon hole in the wall and I love it. The Chinese food is good too. Always tastes fresh. Ordered my girls fries from here too. I almost ate them all, like y’all gotta share lol. Anyways, I gave a 5 stars. That’s rare for me. Staff is serious and nice. I appreciate their mood…no bs and good food. Keep up the good work Frannies. Thank you!!“

“Went to dinner with a few of my lady friends after seeing a show in the city, this was the perfect ending to a phenomenal day. I had the crab cakes and they were delish, a couple of people in my group had the fried chicken/fried catfish combo and that looks delicious as well. I highly recommend Lizzy’s Cajun Cafe.“
