“Cute little spot for dinner with quick service!

The good:

Bettenjan bi tahina: So flavorful! Loved all the sauces, and the dish came together beautifully — healthy food with great presentation.

The not-so-good:

Portion sizes were quite small, so we left feeling a bit unsatisfied.

The sumac spritz tasted mostly like sugar water with barely any other flavor.

Overall, a nice place if you’re looking for healthy options, though it would be great to see some chicken kebabs for non-vegetarians and falafel choices for vegetarians.“

Great quality, flavor, and good presentation on food. Highly recommend their salsa verde on just about anything. Superb. My favorite: Chilaquiles with ham, verde sauce. You won’t regret it.

The best part is my area has brick and mortar stores where I just walk in and buy my meal prep for the week...Meals cooked in a local kitchen by real chefs with local fresh ingredients. I'm busy all the time and although I love cooking it's hard to cook for just one person. The majority of meals are 600 calories or less. An easy way for me to stay in my calorie deficit. “The food was good, but there was a significant delay with my Snackpass pickup. My order number was incorrectly labeled, causing the food to sit on the counter for over 20 minutes until I spoke up about not receiving my food three separate times. No compensation, just an apology.

“This is my favorite breakfast burrito in San Francisco. They are so, so good - stuffed with bacon, beans, avocado, cheese - I’m literally drooling thinking about it. “Total hidden gem in SF. It’s low key and does take out only, but don’t let that fool you, this place rivals SF’s finest establishments. I moved in a few blocks down the street and have been ordering take out almost every day as I unpack. I’ve tried the chicken hummus plate, meatball and rice plate, and the Beyran Soup. Literally each dish was 5/5 amazing. The soup was the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. Super rich flavor, but not overly salty. Just right. “Im not a salad guy, but my wife loves salad.

Picked up a salad today from Green and Grains and boy was I surprised at the portion! 1 salad was enough for my wife and myself; with leftovers for later!

Got to speak to Ian for a little bit and was surprised that all the ingredient are organic and locally sourced. Including the pickled onions being made in house!

For a guy who doesn’t eat salads, I would say the Asian chicken was the best salad I’ve ever had!

Going to try their sandwiches on the next visit!

“You will not beat MIXT. It is a Latina cult of salads. They have salads and warm bowls. I always get the Barbecue bowl when I can ever afford it and it's FIREEEEE. These places are organically sourced and not made up. Must try. Average $15 on every menu item.“

Had the pleasure of talking to one of the owners for awhile, and he told us a lot about the food and his + his partner’s connection to it/the restaurant/Cambodia. Honey ginger, without over powering each other or the salmon. Roasted pine nuts? Very very tasty and roasted to perfection. The holendaise was tart again exactly the way it should be. Exceptionally fresh, exceptionally executed. When in the city I will stop by and thank them. Now, of course I want to try everything else on their menu.“
