However, the lady was really nice and let me get the lunch special so I was quite pleased. Great service! The food also tasted great and was of great quality. Plenty of combo options to choose from and pics on the side walls are pretty good help. Not exactly sure how to rate Atmosphere because the restaurant is inside 99 Ranch market. It's pretty clean eating area which is across the order area and past the spacious entrance.“

“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“

“Came here today for lunch and it was my 1st time and it was so good. I had brisket and a side of beans and drink for $40 the flavor was great and the beans were perfect. I had the strawberry kiwi lemonade and that was super good too. The bbq sauce was the cherry on top. Overall great experience. The young man that was working there alone was nice and attentive. Very home style feeling. I will absolutely be back with my foodie dad and tell others about this place.“

“This is the best BBQ I’ve had in LA. Tried for the first time yesterday - had the brisket and ribs and both were fantastic. Brisket was incredibly tender and the ribs were as well. Mac and Cheese was rich and delicious, greens had a little bite which is a perfect contrast to the richness of everything else we had. Delicious BBQ sauce, enjoyed the sweet slightly more than the spicy but both were great. I can’t wait to come back and try more sides.

The gyōza dumplings and egg rolls were really good. They have sushi as well. Their menu can be accessed by QR code or you can ask for a physical menu.“

Miss Gloria is a sweetheart of a person; I had the pleasure of conversing with her about life and family, while my food was being prepared. “We came here 2 days back to back and was definitely not disappointed the first day we just wanted to try the place out and ordered the pork belly sliders and a brisket Mac n cheese. Both were amazing but… the next morning we came to get brunch and ordered the chili verde breakfast burrito along with the tri tip breakfast bowl and I must say that had to be the best breakfast burrito I have ever had! Plus the sauce with the salsa they give you for that bowl was delicious!!! I’m just upset that the brunch is not year around“

The tofu was soft, the veggies had the perfect bite, and the brown sauce was well seasoned. The entire dish was warm and light enough that I almost cleaned my plate despite it being so satisfying. I got the beef shwarma sandwich (sandwich on top). Really really good flavors, with a refreshing green sauce + pickled cauliflower + radish. Overall an extremely tasty bite.

My friend got the pork belly lavash wrap. I'm not a huge pork fan--and I could eat that all day.

We got the hummus as well. Fantatic and worked well with my sandwich.

“Rodney's ribs are the Truth. I moved to Pasadena recently. I've had Q at Dreamland in Alabama, 12 Bones in North Carolina, Franklin's in Austin, Corky's in Memphis and Hecky's in Chicago, and this is some of the most righteously smoked meat I've ever had. Thank you, Rodney.“

“When you want the best Crispy Chicken you've ever eaten, Top Restaurant is your answer. They have an extensive Asian menu with authentic home recipes. All items are made fresh, as you order. To work here, you must be a family member. They guard their recipes and preparation techniques carefully. They take personal pride in every meal that they create.\n\nThese are a few of the meals that I like to order… mixed BBQ chicken katsu, teriyaki chicken, spam rice, fried rice, spring rolls, gyoza pork, beef and chicken. The hamburger and the cheeseburger are exceptional here.  The menu is so varied that I think I could eat here everyday for 6 months without repeating a dish! \n\nLocated just east of Allen Avenue, in a small shopping area. The parking lot is always available. I am usually able to park right in front of the restaurant. I like to call ahead and order. “Unfortunately, I can never try this place because I don’t live locally and I always try to call them to find out even if there’s any parking because when I go on Google Earth, it’s impossible to see the restaurant and not sure where to park also, I want to make sure that they’re open because sometimes businesses say they are and then they are closed for whatever reason I’m trying to call them day after day, but there are no phone numbers. Had a group of 8 to try again. Roasted duck and BBQ pork 叉燒were savory. 雪菜鴨絲炆米 is not really recommended especially when you compare the roasted duck and the Duck Rice noodles (鴨絲炆米).
In general, still recommend you give it a try.

Ordered Togo last time, portion, price and taste were decent. Dine in this time. It's full house due the small size of this restaurant. Ordered Hong Kong style minced beef rice with sunny side up on the top. A bit dried and disappointed. Another Eggplant with shredded pork and bamboo slices. Taste good . Of course, best match with rice. Additional $1.95 for the HK style lemon tea with refills which is my favorite. Why not.
Definitely I will go back and try something else.

“There was such a long wait here on a Sunday night, but it was totally worth it. Little Skewer is my favorite place to get skewers. Once you step inside, you’ll understand why it takes forever to get a table - you won’t want to leave! The atmosphere of the restaurant seems specifically curated to create the perfect environment for eating and drinking. Beers were BOGO. Chinese wines were served in tea pots and dainty little saucers. Beneath the tavern lights, a lounge singer sweetly serenades the diners through the huge karaoke machine at the front of the store.

Service is mostly done yourself through an iPad. You place your own order through the system and workers bring the food out to you.

Meats such as beef and lamb skewers are ordered in batches of 10 and will most likely make up the bulk of your skewers, but there are many other types of additional skewers to choose from. An unexpected favorite for me was the king oyster mushroom skewers. I don’t even like mushrooms, but these king oyster mushrooms were irresistible. Biting into the springy flesh was so satisfying. The spicy, vibrant flavors and juiciness made my mouth water and crave more. The scallops, served in their shells with glass noodles, garlic, scallions, and chili paste, were addictive enough to pound back like shots. I also really liked the chicken skin skewers because the crispiness provided a nice contrast to the other dishes. And I liked the pineapple sausage so much that I ordered two.

I would totally recommend Little Skewer for dinner, catching up with friends, and a good time.“

“I love coming to T-Kebob! However, the last time I came here I noticed their prices have jumped and they no longer serve their lamb and beef skewers in orders of 10. This is my favorite spot for skewers though and their corn cheese is perfect! They've also switched brands for their Taiwanese sausage and it doesn't taste as good.“

“We are BBQ folks. We smoke our own and have traveled the country trying different spots. There is so much that goes into BBQ. For those of us who truly love it; it's an art form and science of cuts, color, bark, brine -- the whole deal. We've experienced much of the local (Southern California) flavor and have found a few spots that excel. We moved up to Pasadena recently and were Yelping to see if there was a BBQ spot up here that we could try. When we came upon Mission I was skeptical. It didn't make sense that a BBQ spot would do catering and weekend farmer's market stuff. The only way to see if the reviews were legit was to give it a shot. We found the location at the farmer's market tucked away and because we were late in the day, had to pick from the meats that were left. Ribs, brisket, mac & cheese -- and the two sauces they stocked (mild & spicy). Our order was bundled and we brought it home and launched into the meal. Brisket -- soft, moist, flavorful. Brisket is not easy to cook. It can get dry and -- sometimes greasy from the fat. This was none of that. It was excellent -- some of the best ever. 5/5!!! Ribs -- very good. Solid. My personal perfect-preference is ribs that are just a touch less moist -- but we are talking the difference between 98/100 or 94/100. They were solid. Great flavor. Mac & Cheese. Excellent. Texture, color, flavor, taste -- all outstanding. 5/5!!! Sauce. We had a cup of each of their offerings: spicy and mild. Each had a lovely smokey flavor. The spicy had a nice kick without blowing the back out of your throat. Again -- this is a little nitpicky, but we find the perfect sauce to be a touch less sticky. We've had great first meals and horrible second meals at certain spots and horrible first meals and great second meals. We like to try the food several times before writing reviews so we ordered again for another experience. This time we added baked beans, burnt ends, and smoked chicken to the meal. Second time was exactly as great as the first time. Everything was solid, solid, solid. Now -- the thing that gives Mission six-stars is the folks behind the food. These people are dedicated to making a contribution to the world through food as few are. They are kind, generous, dedicated -- truly amazing!!!! Judith and her family are the kind of folks I want to invite over to have the food we just bought from them!!! Wonderful, wonderful people!! Thank you so much Mission!!!! The singapore noodles were good but the roast pork was a bit dry. I also thought the noodles lacked curry but my husband said it was fine. The portions were HUGE. We ended up taking the rest of the food home. For the price we paid, it was definitely worth it. Waitstaff was quick and courteous.“
