“Holy cow, I didn’t expect the food to be this good. I saw the reviews and thought this might just be one of those friendly local places. It’s definitely that but the food is delicious.
I’ve only had the hamburger and fries so far.“

“The Jolly Jug is one of those iconic places that can never be duplicated. The original Jolly Jug was in South El Monte in the 1930s and people came from all around to eat their famous Pastrami’s and Beef Dip sandwiches. Going into another century of their delicious food and cold beer, you can’t go wrong by making a pit stop here. In a world of hip restaurants trying to reinvent LA cuisine, the Jug is comfort food, done right. ❤️“

“Amazing little spot. Service was wonderful despite it being Sunday during Labor Day weekend. Not too busy, as we were able to seat ourselves outside. Adorable dogs on the patio!
I got the French toast while my boyfriend got the waffles. We shared the eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Everything was delicious! The waffle was perfectly crispy yet tender inside. The French toast was soft as well. Order the hash browns crispy! You won’t regret it.
Parking: Adjacent parking lot“

“An institution. I love going somewhere you know the experience is going to be just as good as the last time. Breakfast is what's up. The attached photo is the country scramble with sausage instead of bacon.
Vegetarian options: Very limited.
Parking: The main lot is a PITA. Park up the street or east away from the building on the curb.
Kid-friendliness: Always see a ton of families in the morning on weekends. Large kids menu. Pretty rowdy so loud kids aren't necessarily an issue.
Wheelchair accessibility: Both entrances are at street level. Plenty of accessible seating but it can get pretty busy and space gets tight. Bathroom has ADA requirements but is narrow. It's an older building so the laws weren't the same when it was built.“

This place been around for a while but I never know this place exist because it’s so hidden. The service is a bit slow when prepping the food, but their tacos are to die for. I would come back any day for tacos!Parking lot is shared with other shops but not too busy! The menu is consistent and so is their food!Would come back again! “Once a tiny corner cafe 25 years ago, seating maybe 20 people if that.
HSC has grown to be a large local town favorite for food, atmosphere and service.
All menu items from Breakfast to Dinner are consistently as fresh and of the highest quality as they were 25 years ago.“

“Tuesday 8/27/24 Lunch at Tip Top Sandwich in Rosemead. I was craving for their Banh mi and Vietnamese ice coffee. They make good Banh mi here. Crunchy bread with a good amount of tasty meats, liver spread, pickle carrots and a strong refreshing ice coffee on a warm day. Life is good. It hits the spot.

“"Absolutely stellar experience at Homies breakfast truck in Highland Park! Adam, the owner, is an absolute gem of a person—friendly, welcoming, and truly passionate about his craft. From the moment I stepped up to the truck, I could feel the warmth and dedication that Adam puts into every dish.Let's talk about the food—mouthwatering is an understatement! The breakfast burrito I had was hands down one of the best I've ever tasted in LA, and that's saying something! The flavors were perfectly balanced, the ingredients fresh, and the portion size generous. Each bite was a symphony of deliciousness. But what truly sets Homies apart is Adam's unwavering passion for his food. It's evident in every aspect, from the meticulous preparation to the genuine care he shows to each customer. And let me tell you, when you see the passion reflected in every bite, you know you're experiencing something special. If you're in Highland Park and craving a breakfast that will make your taste buds sing, do yourself a favor and head to Homies breakfast truck. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! Five stars all the way“

“Passed by a bunch of times but never got a chance to go in. Finally, after all these years, I'm glad I did. Hit the spot!
Parking: The parking lot opens up into the other center. Since it sits on the corner of Baldwin and Duarte, it sort of helps to navigate your way through both busy streets.“
“My company used Crossroads for a very long project that required catering every weekday for over three weeks. Helen was quick on delivery, she was willing to work with us to add variation to the lunches and her prices could not be beat. The employees we were training highly complimented all the food. Sandwiches, wraps, tacos, bento bowls and salads. All of it was delicious. I cannot thank Helen a Crossroads enough for her hard work and wonderful food.“

“The cafeteria is a standard food hall with lots of seating and tables.
The main reason I go here is because of their Cali Cob salad is phenomenal. As a person that has tried lots of high end salads at other establishments, this salad is one of the best cobs I’ve ever had.
Almost as great as Joey’s in DTLA. The vegetables are very fresh, the dressing is excellent. I love that it has a lot of chicken pieces that are delicious and egg along with bacon pieces. It’s a solid salad for the price and one of my favorite salads of all time. I highly recommend it.
I will definitely come back to eat that salad & I’ll continue to try their other menu items.“

“The food was very good... but the waitress who served me only came once to take the order and never came back, another person was the one who took my order and I couldn't have a new drink or more bread because the waitress never came again. .“

“If you're looking for a good spot to eat close to the DTLA court houses, check out the Galero Grill in the Cathedral complex. A five minute walk from the court houses with good food at reasonable prices. Plus, there's a lovely patio with tables to enjoy your meal in peace (other than the Cathedral chimes on the hour). It's run by the Patina group so, although the food isn't fancy, the quality is very good.“

“This place is lowkey and so legit. We love getting the taiwanese purple rice rolls, pork buns, and hot tea (that tea is a steal ngl). There's enough menu items you can take your time exploring, or eat some tried and trues. Everything tastes made from scratch. Prices are affordable. The servers are so sweet and kind. Like what's not to love?? The majority of customers are Chinese speaking, but we got by fine with English XD Morning Summit is always the perfect way to start your day...arguably best breakfast place in town!“

“The place is overall amazing, workers are nice, food is great, but the service is a little slow. We waited a good 20 minutes before finally getting served. The workers are very nice and the place is beautiful. I usually order from Postmates and the food always arrives very quickly. I would totally eat here again just wished the service was a bit faster.
