“The best spicy Chinese Food in OC/LA area hands down! They have been Michelin recommended for a reason. Their food has lots of depth of umami flavors with a good amount of spice with a refined touch. Their none spicy broths are especially good too. My faves are their dry pots, toothpick lambs, Qiao Jiao Beef. We also like their spicy ribs and boiled fish in chilli sauce, and Mao cai. Service is great too!“

“As big fan of cold Szechuan appetizer, I always like to test the cold spicy beef aka husband and wife beef (fu qi fei pian). Their’s is pretty good, much spicier than other, portion is kind of small. My only concern is that they grind the pepper corn and leaving some bitter after taste. The restaurant is new with beautiful interior, adding a nice atmosphere“

“I came here for a quick meal and was seriously impressed. The food tastes authentic, portions are generous, and everything was cooked with care.

I ordered the beef noodle soup and the braised pork elbow rice plate, and both dishes were excellent.

🍜 Beef Noodle Soup:
The broth was rich and flavorful with that classic Taiwanese depth. The noodles were perfectly chewy, and the beef chunks were tender and juicy. Definitely one of the better beef noodle soups I’ve had in the area.

🍖 Braised Pork Elbow Rice Plate:
The pork elbow was incredibly tender and full of flavor—melt-in-your-mouth and perfectly braised. The plate came with cabbage, pickled veggies, a marinated egg, and a big serving of rice. Everything paired together really well, and the seasoning was on point.

The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the food came out fast. If you’re craving Taiwanese comfort food, this spot is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back!“

“If you are in the San Gabriel Valley area you must stop here if you want amazing Sashimi. Started with fatty Tuna that melted in my mouth so fresh delicious then moved on to giant Clams (Mirugai) it was sweet & crunchy I could have gone for second order not many sushi restaurants have (Mirugai)The fatty belly Salmon was buttery & the spicy Tuna hand roll sashimi was perfect coz I’m a spicy food addict it was just heavenly for me. Yum yum 🤤 ended with Kumamoto Oyster 🦪 it was so sweet like cotton candy in your mouth made me wanting more which I did order more. Lol 😂 The house hot Sake was good for a cold night paired so well with my amazing Sashimi! Great way to end my Friday night here! Thank you Chef!“

“Went there for breakfast around 10am and it was nice and empty. Food came out fast and tasted good. Came with a lot of basil and cilantro. They have an extensive menu. Only downside is the parking directly behind the restaurant is limited to 5-6 spots. If it’s full you have to park in the parking garage“

“I’ve always passed by here but never tried it. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their spring rolls, takoyaki, and popcorn chicken ramen to try. The spring rolls were interestingly cut but very good. Crispy shell with savory veggie filling. Also came with a side of soy sauce for dipping. The takoyaki were crisp with a gooey center, topped with like a sweet mayo, and had a tender not too fish piece of octopus in the middle. The popcorn chicken ramen came with a BUNCH of MASSIVE pieces of crispy, juicy, savory chicken. Like can u even call this popcorn chicken still if they’re this big? Surprisingly paired well with the ramen which also came with came with green onions and pickled ginger, that helped add a brightness to the bowl and wood ear mushrooms, and half an egg. The broth was really savory but not super rich and oily which my sensitive tummy appreciated. The noodles also surprisingly stayed pretty chewy while I was eating them even tho they were soaking up the broth. This place is pretty good.“

They have good mix of long tables for bigger parties and small tables for 2-4ppl. They can adjust the level of saltiness of the ramen which is awesome! Never been to a ramen spot that has offered that before.

However, the lady was really nice and let me get the lunch special so I was quite pleased. Great service! The food also tasted great and was of great quality. “Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. And ordering was very easy since you do it through a QR code but you can also ask for a menu and order that way as well. Food came within 10 to 15 minutes and everything was very hot and fresh. The meat pies were really hot and filled with yummy juices. The scallion pancakes were very very yummy. I highly recommend getting the cucumbers. Service was decent but don't be expecting conversations from these ladies. They bring you your food and that's about it. I can't wait to come back and the prices are so worth it.“

“We had a large party and they were able to accommodate us. The food was delicious! The best salt and pepper pork chops and string beans I've had. The steamed flounder was also very good, and so was the whole catfish with garlic sauce. We got 12 or 13 dishes, and these were definitely the faves of the group. It's an older building, but we went for the food, so it didn't bother us. 100% recommend!“

“My family used to go here often, but no longer do so I decided to drop in myself for some curry. They serve such a delicious free cup of chicken broth, SO good. I was their only customer and they offered to give me another while I waited for my food. Then I got my chicken curry, it was good! I really hope business picks up for them. Like I said, I was the only customer and there were about three other staff members in there but they were all minding their own business while I ate so I felt relaxed and a bit home-y :)“

It's pretty clean eating area which is across the order area and past the spacious entrance.“

The night manager is cool and when he gets on the stove his food is out of this world! “Truly stellar food! Been here multiple times and it’s always blown me away - not just your typical Thai place. The flavors are bold, the chicken satay, Penang curry, and sticky rice are highlights. This is probably gonna end up on the best restaurants in LA list soon and I’m just happy to know about them before they blew up.“

“I love the food my favorite is the linguine clams which is made with a white wine sauce but you can ask for red if you desire. Everywhere you go now a days is expensive but at least portions are large and shareable. It surprises me to read the reviews and see that people enjoyed the Tyson frozen wings they use to serve at Vittoria’s for years. I also would like to note that I love the antipasto salad and it doesn’t have only one meat as I read on one of the reviews.Also everywhere that has delivery service charges more when ordered on the app. Update: they are no longer charging for water. I can say that yes they are short staffed sometimes as well as many other restaurants have been ever since COVID. I really love the service and I will continue to be a customer for many years!! It always amazes me that people can’t see when it’s busy and aren’t understanding.“

We ordered an abalone porridge and then afterward they came back saying they ran out of porridge, which is surprising for a spot named The Porridge. But then they came back and gave us a bowl of runny plain porridge. And then a few minutes later they worked some magic and brought over the abalone porridge we originally wanted. It was good.“
