I took his recommendations to order the cesar salad and the lasagna and that did not disappoint. Belle was our server at the bistro and she was so much fun and nice. We took two friends for a belated birthday dinner (and as the staff realized it was just that, they even rewarded us with a delicious birthday dessert :-). The oysters are ultra‑fresh and perfectly chilled, the ideal briny start to the meal. The steak is cooked spot‑on with a rich peppercorn sauce and crispy fries, making every bite feel like a true Parisian bistro experience. Their happy hour is awesome- a french pilsner for only $6! And the staff went out of their way to accommodate me near an outlet where i can drink and charge my phone. Again, was not expecting this pleasant bar, but will def be back!“

“Delicious from start to finish. We ordered the Caesar Salad, Burrata, Meatballs, Pork Belly, and tiramisu, and everything was excellent—well-prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The meatballs were especially memorable, and the tiramisu was the perfect way to end the meal. Add a little burrata to a bite of the meatballs for a perfect bite.
The wine selection complemented the food beautifully. They were also very accommodating when we needed to adjust our reservation time, which we appreciated.
Service struck the right balance—attentive without being overbearing. Claudia was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped make the experience even better.

“Sawa is easily a top-10 restaurant in my opinion. The chef deserves a star. The entire experience went beyond my expectations, truly outstanding. I had so much fun dining there; the environment is friendly, and every bite was delicious. “Went before attending a show at the Orpheum since it was within walking distance. Wasn't sure what to expect, but once inside and has the place got crowded. It was a nice vibe and food was good. Not a big fan of sitting on stools as the limited amount of tables were taken. Highly recommended however as it's far better value than going to some overpriced restaurant in downtown LA. Servers were nice.“

“Had to stop by my favorite Italian grubbin in the heart of Old Town Pasadena all the way from Boise. This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. Our service was attentive and pleasant; the vibe is always vibrant and homey. Highly recommended.“

“Future brides looking for a wedding venue in LA -- DO IT!!!

I got married here on May 3rd, 2025, and I truly cannot rave enough about De La Nonna and The Let's Go Disco. We had a 120-person wedding and used both spaces -- De La Nonna for our ceremony and reception, and The Let's Go Disco for the after-party.

From the very beginning, the team was incredibly accommodating to all of our (many) creative requests. My husband is an illustrator and designer, so we created a fully custom escort wall where every guest was drawn by hand with their table number on the back. The team happily stored away and rearranged furniture to give us space between the two venues to make it happen.

In addition to the escort wall, we brought in some rentals like a photobooth, a heart-shaped arch, larger tables and chairs -- not because we needed to (they already had great options), but because we wanted big tables. They accommodated everything with no issues and no hidden charges, truly allowing us to transform the space into exactly what we envisioned.

We also wanted a champagne tower, and they had no problem letting us bring in a vendor -- they even helped serve champagne pre-ceremony so guests had drinks while they waited.

They provided two DJs, both of whom were amazing -- and if you can request DJ Seano, DO IT. He was truly incredible and MC'd our ceremony moments and wedding speeches flawlessly, collaborating with us to make sure the vibes were exactly what we wanted and that our favorite songs were played all night long.

The food was INCREDIBLE and this is another reason we wanted to do it here. Literally every single guest came up to us to tell us how incredible it was - the salads, the pizza, the oysters - everything was PERFECTION.

Our day flowed seamlessly from pre-ceremony champagne service, to ceremony, to cocktail hour with amazing hors d'oeuvres, to our dinner reception (complete with speeches and a family tradition game of bingo), and then into The Let's Go Disco for our first dance, cake cutting, and an unforgettable party.

We were a little nervous about getting married in DTLA, especially for out-of-town guests unfamiliar with the area, but between the Arts District's private security and the two dedicated security guards provided by De La Nonna/The Let's Go Disco, everyone felt completely safe and taken care of and we had zero issues!!!

What truly made this experience exceptional, beyond the food and the chic, beautiful space, was the staff. From planning through the wedding day itself, they were thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything felt special and seamless. As I was walking down the aisle, I made eye contact with one of the staff members -- and she was crying!! That moment says everything.

I truly cannot imagine a better place to get married in Los Angeles. Thank you to everyone -- and especially Jose, Mia, and Patrick -- for making all of our wedding dreams come true.“

“This is a great place to enjoy continental food. I was very surprised at how authentic the Indian food I ordered tasted. I ordered the butter chicken which came with naan, rice and chapatis. Butter chicken. It tasted like professional style and was very nice looking. It even surpassed some of the Indian restaurants I have tried before.“

“Nice Izakaya right around the corner of Little Tokyo. Staff is friendly and vibes are chill. Drinks and food are delicious. My friend tried some of their sake and really enjoyed the taste as well as the presentation. We started with the Signature Tofu Sampler which is all three of their original housemade tofu, served side by side in a beautiful three bowl tray. The first was their classic tofu in a traditional style that is served with a house miso paste and you could toss on some roasted green tea salt to your own tastes. I think this might have been my favorite because it was so effortlessly simple and tasty. Their creamy tofu is extra soft tofu made from fresh cream and soymilk, with a dashi cream broth. They asked us to eat this one as is and not to add any additional salt or sauces. Lastly, was the black sesame tofu which is a creative take on the original tofu infused with black sesame. They suggested adding in some wasabi and soy sauce that really enhanced the flavoring. If you are a fan of tofu, I highly recommend trying this sampler. The Omelette Noodles with Simmered Wagyu Beef is just ok. Loved the omelette and wagyu beef. The noodles were fine but I think the dish was overpowered by the seasoning. Not my favorite but that is probably just based on my personal taste preferences. The Grilled Salmon Chazuke was fantastic. It is a rice porridge dish mixed with dashi and topped with a beautiful piece of grilled salmon. We also tried a couple pieces of nigiri and I loved the Chu-Toro ones. Definitley not a bad choice if you are looking for casual but yummy dining in this area.

Now for my standard comments. The location is clean and well kept. Comfortable indoor seating. There is also a decently sized outdoor seating area as well.“

Edward and Rachelle hosted a wonderful evening of fine wines and very tasty treats. I use the word hosted because they make it feel like you are in their home... very gracious and attentive. The patio was decorated with lights, nicely dressed tables, a wine bar, sound system and more. I booked it for 2 hours, but they didn't hold us to a clock... If you appreciate good wine and like fine charcuterie and crostini.. In Vino is a top choice! Highly recommend!“
