“A cost corner shop with a menu options ranging from ice creams, sorbets, beverages and Açaí bowl. Their huckleberry ice is a must try. Overall a good experience and flavor options.
They have outdoor seating space and is right on the street, easy accessibility and convenience if coming from the beach.“

Was visiting Tahoe and wasn’t some good food and cold beer after hiking all day. TNBC hit the spot!!! We were even treated to some live music on Friday night.

“A bike event on Sunday turned into a cold, rainy, windy, miserable day. We went to The Dam Cafe for hot chocolate and got so much love! The owner not only welcomed the wet, muddy riders in, she put out space heaters and wrapped us in blankets! Amazing! I was so cold and was warmed both physically and emotionally by the kindness. The food and drink where delicious. Can’t say enough good things. A little cottage of heaven in Tahoe City!“

“This place has been around for a while as a central hub for drinking and casual dining. The Reubin is Great as are fish tacos.

A recent visit begs me to update this post. Fish tacos were delivered without hotsauce or silverware. Never got either. 2nd Lemon Drop Martini was alcohol heavy ($17 ea). Hostess and server both from Russia or Eastern block...did not know what Google wallet was, had to ask. My 1st martini glass never got picked up even after I set it on top of the completed taco plate and pushed it far aside. The used dishes were ignored 3 times by a questioning server and sat the entire time after I had departed.

“We were in Truckee for the day and wanted something different. This was the perfect place! Outdoor dining was amazing balls! Comfy setting, like your own outside patio. The food was exactly what we wanted! A watermelon non alcoholic spritz was so refreshing. Not sweet but more blended fruity mix. A hot tasty sandwich, perfectly crispy sweet potato fries and that day.. a velvety French onion soup. It was a different type of bread, bunch of spices and big slice of the cheese! So much cooked onions and a broth that tasted like it was cooked for hours, to get a deep rich beef taste. Staff was so friendly and nice. Will be going back to try their pizzas and salads!“

“Creamy Mac n Cheese, crispy sesame-ginger wings, and that basket of sweet potato fries were all on point — comforting, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a cold Tahoe Pilz.

Morgan gave us excellent service, upbeat and genuine, which really elevated the whole experience. The kind of service that makes you want to come back — whether for a meal or just a drink.

The sauce lineup was a show of its own — blue cheese, ranch, Dijon mustard, ketchup, and Sriracha ranch. Each one brought something different to the table. The Sriracha ranch added a spicy kick, Dijon gave that sharp tang, and the blue cheese and ranch balanced everything with creamy coolness. Even the ketchup hit just right with the sweet potato fries. Every dip had a purpose — making the wings and fries not just tasty, but downright addictive.

“Food tasted good, service was nice, price was pretty high, as you'd expect being right off the coast of Tahoe, with one of the major highways leading to Tahoe nearby.

Decent place to chill and relax if you're hanging around the nearby beaches, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here.

There were bathrooms for customers.

There's parking not too far from here. Didn't notice a dedicated lot.“

“This place closes at 10pm. They let me order for takeaway at 10:30 when everything else was closed. To my most pleasant surprise, I got a paneer that was absolutely delicious, paired with equally delicious basmati rice and mango lassi. They were incredibly kind and gracious, and the food was fantastic. All of the food containers were absolutely filled to the brim, so I have leftovers for tomorrow. The medium spicy was more of a medium-hot spicy, but paired with the rice and the lassi it was perfect. Highly recommend!!“

“Great place rode the gondola up from North Star village. Our server Max was amazing! Food was great, atmosphere amazing. Definitely good place after a long day of skiing kids loved it too. Drinks were amazing too. Don’t let the negative reviews scare you off. Definitely come here and enjoy good food, drinks and atmosphere. It’s pricy but it’s the Ritz sooooooo.

“In all honesty, we ended up not eating here. The menu here on google was an old winter menu, so when we looked at the menu on site, we didn't see anything we wanted. Maybe call the restaurant or try to find a current menu. the service staff was wonderful. They sat us with glasses of water, and were apologetic about the menu miscommunication. We left, but I left them a tip for their troubles.“

“The setting at Sunnyside is absolutely stunning. Watching the sun set across Lake Tahoe from either the outside deck or the waterview seats inside the comfortable dining room sets the table for a wonderful relaxing evening. The restaurant, although full during our visit, was surprisingly quiet making for good conversation. The menu is varied with something for every taste. The service was excellent with a special shout out to John who was our server. He was both personable, professional and very attentive. We've been going to Sunnyside for 50 years and it never disappoints!“
