“My granddaughter loved it! It's our favorite neighborhood place. Only negative is, give the teens looking for summer jobs grace! My granddaughter applied for a job, went fir tge interview, arrived with exactly 8 min before interview, stood in the line to let personnel know she was there for interview & was told that while she was in line waiting to let them know she was there for an interview the manager left because she consider it being late! “A cozy café with a Korean vibe. I had been following posts about its opening on a thread, so I felt a sense of familiarity with it. The dessert and drink menu were simple and not over-the-top, which I really liked. I was surprised to see more foreigners than Koreans, even though cafés like this usually attract a lot of Koreans. The atmosphere was lovely as well.“

“One of the best coffee spots in Pasadena! Love coming here to get my caffeine fix in. I've tried most of the menu and you honestly can't go wrong picking any drink. They offer hot and iced coffee as well as matcha and a few pastries. The owners are extremely kind people who clearly love what they do and it shows. They also give back to the community which speaks volumes. I cannot recommend this cute little coffee truck enough.“

“I ordered an open face MCB on gluten free everything bagel with vegan cream cheese which was delicious. My husband ordered a white fish salad bagel on an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese which he enjoyed. We also ordered a generous side of pickles. The coffee was solid too. The interior is well designed and the booths offer cozy, private seating.“

“Laveta is a super cute minimalistic cafe located close to echo park lake in Los Angeles. They have their own parking lot, which already is an A+. But since it is a small lot, there is street parking all around. They have really cool inside seating as well as outdoor seating.

They offer coffee, matcha and teas. But let’s not ignore the food they offer, which I highly recommend you try out! I’ve heard the burger is delicious but haven’t tried it because I’m obsessed with their Avacado toast! It’s literally the best Avacado I’ve had! Their coffee is good as well. I’ve had their iced vanilla latte, which you can’t go wrong with. I also enjoyed one of their signature coffee, the laveta.

A young lady named Abigail (who looks like Billie Ellish) and who just had this welcoming spirit and made you feel comfortable along with the rest of the staff. Once you were sat and you were able to go through the menu, I had looked up some items online and their food looked exactly as it was presented in their pictures. Even better, the food, it was absolutely, completely, delicious!!! The atmosphere made you not want to leave, and it was comfortable, it was inviting. They checked on you periodically to see if you needed anything at he same time, allowing you to enjoy the ambience of the place. I had the enchiladas and Arnold Palmer balanced perfectly. It's a good first date place. My date I've been with her 30 years Married and enjoyed every moment there, oh also our daughter was present.“

While I was enjoying my drink near the window, a squirrel on the exterior ledge caught my eye. This little guy seemed oddly interested in my coffee break and kept peering in like we were old friends catching up. It made for a good laugh and somehow added to the charm of the place. I've had their regular oat milk matcha latte and their strawberry matcha latte and both had a rich flabor and a great foamy texture since it's made right in front of you. “Whenever I find myself in Pasadena, I make it a point to stop by. As I step through the front door, the aromas are welcoming, the setting comforting, and with it a slew of memories rushes back. I discovered Jones in the early 2000’s during business trips to Pasadena. Through the years it became a must have visit, even during family trips. Leading the way is Rafael. He’s calm and welcoming and his presence is felt every where. In fact, during a 2021 visit he spotted my family and me, came over to greet us, and fondly recalled my children who he hadn’t seen in close to 8 years. It’s that type of personal attention , and good product, that has kept me coming back. Enjoy!“

Aqaurela's beans provide a different experience. We are by no means coffee experts, but my wife and I were surprised by the nuances in smell and taste when we tried their Deus Me Livre for our morning espresso. It's a lighter feel; almost refreshing. The morning cup feels a bit indulgent, yet not so rich as to make your mouth feel overwhelmed. We could see this pairing very well as an after-dinner treat with any manner of desserts. The best part is that this is simply a fantastic company to work with. Quick, fast delivery. Prompt follow-up to make sure we were completely satisfied. And all questions answered - when we noted that we typically prefer darker roasts, one of the owners explained that their goal was to make a medium-roast whose flavors would still hold up to a coordination with cream and sugar. It's a throwback to days where customer service and the personal touch were still important. This is a small business whose goal of promoting independent farmers is admirable and worthy of our support. Thank you!“
