“We have only been here on the weekdays. So can't speak about the weekends but - we like to come here because they have a nice outdoor covered patio. You can enjoy a relaxing meal and if you happen to bring along an active 2 year old its even better. The food is decent and the service is very good. The views are nice. All in all it's a win.LOVED THE SERVICE AND FOOD!!!! The waiter was very attentive and attentive. Whatever we needed, she was there!! Thank you ?“

“Stealing a phrase from their menu here, but Belle’s bagels is the epitome of “Newish & Jewish” deli classics. Their bagels on their own (judged by eating them without any CC or toppings) are wonderful and I much prefer them over the bagels from Courage, Layla, and Jyan Isaac. They have all the usual suspects (poppy, plain, onion, everything, sesame, salt) and what I’ll call a zeitgeist spin on a typical Asiago bagel: the cacio e pepe. I ordered an assortment of bagels to-go but also had an egg & cheese on the cacio e pepe at the bar counter. It was unbelievably good and such a unique flavor - the crushed peppercorns were the perfect touch. The bagel was perfectly chewy and soft, which paired so well with the velvety eggs and oozing melted cheese. Sitting at the counter felt like I was being served little slice of Jewish deli nostalgia. I also tried one of the black and white cookies to-go and was pleasantly surprised. I hadn’t found a black and white cookie I liked in LA for years until now. If you ever miss New York or the hustle and bustle of a deli with charm and character, make your way to Belle’s.“

“First off, the menu was an embarrassment of riches. Even for my vegetarian wife who often struggles to find a lot of options, there were so many options we talked about coming again later today.
I got the rib eye chilaquiles. When it came I was a little disappointed because it was a steak and eggs with some chilaquiles on the side (I thought they'd be some crazy mixed up thing). After I started eating it, however, I decided they could of brought it in a bucket and made me eat it off the floor and I wouldn't have wanted to complain. The steak was cooked incredibly. So much flavor. And the incredibly non-descript eggs were somehow just tastier than normal eggs. I really don't know how they did it.
This is absolutely going to be our new main breakfast spot.“

“MAKISUPA (est 2024) is Silver Lake's brand new coffee bar located right across the street from Blair's restaurant and adjacent to Camelot School. Their indoor has an atrium-style seating area where staff serve coffee drinks. Its tranquil atmosphere definitely attenuates the stress in your work. It’s my first time here and ordered a Cold Brew. It was perfectly made to my liking.
Service was on point and staff was nice and competent. Prices were very competitive. They are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and weekends from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is a free parking behind the building and surrounding neighborhood.
Overall, I had a good experience and I recommend this coffee bar. I’ll definitely come back.“

“Awesome spot - pleasantly surprised when I brought my toddler here to find they had a whole collection of toy dinosaurs that kept him entertained (for almost 5 whole minutes)! The dog friendly back patio was also great - super cute vibes and lots of cute puppies. Friendly staff, delicious drinks and baked goods.“
