“35 minute wait ordered the steamer pot for two.tha crab had no flavor, the shrimp was overcooked and cold.the potatoes were mush it tasted like the day before .not worth the money.“

“I found Octopus Peru while searching for a restaurant near Golden 1 Arena, and it was a fantastic choice! We started with drinks—my wife loved her “Amore del Mar” so much she had two, and my “Guava Affair” was incredible. I also tried the “Peruvian Spicy,” which had tequila, ginger, mango, and habanero syrup—the heat was perfect! We have a tradition of ordering oysters, so we couldn’t resist the ½ dozen, but the “Smokey Tuna Tostada” was the real star.

The portions were large, prices reasonable, and despite how busy it was, the staff was friendly and attentive. A highlight was chatting with the owner, who told us about his other restaurant, “Octopus Baja”—I’ll definitely be trying it next time we’re in midtown! The inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for a parents' night out without the kids before the show. Can’t wait to go back!“

“The only complaint I had was they don’t have a condiment bar! You have to ask for lemon, catsup, or even malt vinegar! All those things come in small quantities, except for the lemon!“

“Google is acting weird with directions here but truck entrance is off of National drive. Photo is looking into entrance from the yard. Little tight parking. You can sleep on the National drive as it full of trucks although signs are prohibiting parking overnight. Lumpers are available“

“This is a good fish and chips shop in Old Sacramento! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality. You order at the window and they call out your number. There are picnic style benches in the patio area where you can sit. For drinks, you get sodas or beer. We got the fish and chips and a 12 oz bowl of clam chowder. We enjoyed both options. I highly recommend trying them out if you are in the Old Sac area and want something casual.“

“Saw Ray's advertise on tick tock. I guess there's a couple locations. This one was on Fulton avenue 3200. We both had fried shrimp and chicken tenders which are large pieces of white meat
fried to perfection. I had french fries with mine. Super good. My girlfriend had coleslaw with hers. Super good after you added some hot sauce to it“

“As a competitor of Boiling Crab, I gotta say Mr. crab is the winner. The shrimps are fresh and large though the sauce is less garlicy and buttery than Boiling Crabs but it's still very flavorful. The portion is greater than Boiling Crabs as well. Both corn and rice aren't as mushy as boiling crabs. Chicken tenders and fries are great and not overly battered. The clams are small though. Overall, comparable and better than Boiling crab. Give it a try!“

“This is my new favorite Asian restaurant it’s far from home but so worth the drive. From the decor to service to the amazing food…. I can’t say how refreshing it is to be able to eat clean healthy Asian cuisine. The owner is Bill and I’ve met him twice now. He’s passionate about his restaurants, yes I said restaurants plural. He let me know there’s one in Eldorado Hills and Folsom as well as this one I’m reviewing in Citrus Heights on Sunrise. It’s beautiful, clean, and the food is so very delicious! “I got the regular three-piece fish and chips combo--I think it's cod--and a piece of catfish to try. The fish was flakey, crispy, lightly battered, and perfectly seasoned. I really like how they ask you if you want salt on it. Some places don't season it at all. I like the catfish a little bit more. It had more of a bite. The only downside is it's a tad too greasy for me. You can see the grease fall off the fish. The best fish and chips I ever had is really light and it doesn't make you feel like shit. But, at the same time, it was really flavorful and worth the price. It's only about $10 for 3 pieces. That's a cheap meal that can feed 2 people.

The fries tasted like normal, consistent frozen fries. I also got onion rings to try. It had light and crispy batter. You can really taste the onion, it's not frozen. I always get coleslaw at fish & chips spots to cut the greasiness and it's pretty refreshing.“

“Have driven by a million times and friends had us meet them there. Wow, we've been missing out! We had a Chimichanga, carnitas, Mole enchiladas, and a shrimp dish that was to die for. They were kind enough top let us try a taste of the ceviche -they have one shrimp and one made with fish. Both were bright and flavorful. Prices were reasonable and they had inside or patio dining. Service was great. I can't wait to come back...We're hooked!!“

“Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

“This is the ONLY Mexican food restaurant in the area that matters. It is the closest to ✨authentic✨ in the area… (I’m in Roseville closer to the granite bay side.) The Flautas are usually my go to at any Mexican place and the ones here are perfection. Even the beans and rice are good. Tortas, are bomb. The asada is good, too. But my favorite thing to get here are the breakfast burritos. I will try more to add on to this review but after moving here early 2023, this is the only Mexican place I go to that is worth a damn.“
