“Moobongri is a traditional authentic Korean restaurant specializing soondae ( blood sausage)!

We ordered:
- seafood pancake
- ox bone soup with glass noodle ( recommend )
-soondae soup ( recommend )
- spicy pork neck bone soup ( recommend )
- beef rib soup with glass noodle

I love how the soup also comes with rice, and some with glass noodle, very comforting food.

“The Tofu Spring Rolls are good, but lacking flavor. Me personally, I like peanut butter, but the Hoisin Sauce with Peanut Butter had a weird aftertaste. The pork chop was nice and charred, but also lacked some flavor. The vermicelli (noodles) is a nice filler. Great service, and overall nice interior, the only real problem is being crammed with space.“

“Had a really good experience at BCD Tofu House in Artesia. The service stood out — everyone was super attentive without being overbearing, and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

The food was solid and came out fast. The tofu soup was flavorful and comforting, and the sides were fresh and well-prepared. We also got the galbi combo, and the meat was tender and nicely marinated.

“Today at M’s kitchen, I went with the chef’s suggestion of “cold noodles” (which is the meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste, ask for cold noodles). The pronunciation sounds like Tsa Chang lian mein, and while my mandarin is terrible the food was thankfully not. The cold noodles, cucumbers, and pork sauce hit the spot in this warm California afternoon and i couldn’t be more satisfied with both the taste and my full stomach. 10/10 Would eat again. —Recommendations— For those who want a comforting dinning experience, Treat yourself to these delicious dishes: -general tso’s chicken -spicy diced chicken -green onion pancakes -braised string beans -house special beef -braised shrimp -cold meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste —Finger foods for your office/party— For those looking to feed your office finger foods ask for a party tray (I’d get the last 3 since they are more likely “known” by the people you are feeding): -spicy diced chicken -xiao long bao -pan fried dumplings -spring rolls -green onion pancakes When in doubt, do not be afraid to ask Monica the owner for suggestions. “I've been to many Pho restaurants and this one stands out because, they offer unlimited noodles for free!!! They have different types of noodles but the traditional noodles you typically get with Pho, you can ask for an unlimited amount. Just the noodles so no proteins but how cool is that? One portion was good enough for me, but I saw plenty of other customers asking for extra noodles. What a way to stand out. What adds to the appeal is that the food was good. I ordered the Pho Tai with meatballs and the food tasted clean wasn't greasy or heavy. The service was good and brisk as most Asian restaurants are. The prices were reasonable as well and would definitely come back.“

I went there for lunch recently for the first time in years, and the prices were the same as 7–8 years ago. The free side dishes were also delicious.

These days, dining out is so expensive that it's hard to choose a restaurant, but I think the owner made a very wise decision. When you live generously and share with others, you'll be blessed and make plenty of money.

They’ve brought back the original flavors, and the service was great too. I’ll always be happy to open my wallet for food like this. Try having a bowl of soondae soup with a shot of soju, like you see on Korean TV — it’s the true taste of Korea.

The portions are generous, and every dish feels like home-cooked (just a little more intense flavor). The signature soups are very good. The Green Thai Tea was refreshing as well! My kids can't wait to come back to eat everything again!

Next time, I will try the Banh Canh Noodle Soup, I saw someone ordered it and the seafood were all individually packed for freshness!

Today, I enjoyed the pork bossam, and I would rate it three stars. It was rich and satisfying.One thing that disappointed me was that the jjanchi guksu (banquet noodles) I ordered for takeout two weeks ago, which I thought was on the menu, turned out to be a different dish. It was more like somyeon (thin wheat noodles) in kalguksu broth, not what I expected. It started with my misunderstanding, and I appreciate them trying to accommodate my request, but I was completely disappointed as it was a different dish. In my opinion, it would be better if they informed customers that what they requested isn't on the menu.This has been my favorite kalguksu place for a long time. Despite the name changing several times over 23 years, a five-star rating is more than enough.

“Owner boss lady was so lovely and helpful. She came out and explained all the food and how to eat for my non Korean fam. Gave the touch that only an owner operator can.

Jokbal was perfectly cooked, clean and delicious. The hardest part of making this dish is getting out the sometimes overpowering porky flavor that can come with pigs feet. Nailed it!

Same thing with the bo ssam. The meat was tender, cabbage quick salt pickled to perfection. Soondae was also splendid. Soft and chewy without the grit. All the banchan had that 손맛 like your momma made it. Kiss my teeth, delicious.

Wonder why they don't have a full service restaurant, the food certainly is worthy of more than a food hall at Hmart. Next time I have a gathering I know where I'm going.“

“The inside looks like a typical American Korean restaurant, but I can understand why the restaurant is called Gamjatang. Two men added kalguksu noodles to the gamjatang casserole. The noodles were chewy, the broth was delicious, there was a lot of meat, and it was soft and not fishy. It just tastes the same as what I had in Korea. They generously gave us perilla leaves and if you want to eat gamjatang, you can come here.“

The service was very prompt, friendly and helpful - the server understood my not liking overly sweet drinks and recommended the cucumber lemonade as refreshing while still having sweetness. It was, indeed, refreshing and sweet - perfectly balanced flavors. The server also wisely suggested we package the noodles and broth of our leftovers seperately. “I like the big portion of this restaurant. I went 2 people so we ordered 2 dishes. We tried: 1. Pork Back Bone Stew: very huge portion. The meat is soft and you can feel the broth has been well cooked that gives you the sweet and rich taste. 2. Stir Fried Squid (because I love squid!): very good. This dish can be eaten with rice (if you want to be full) or will paired good with a taste of Soju. The portions are big so don't over ordering or you will have some food to go. The food is a little plaint and there's salt to add (if you are a salty food fan) to assure you don't leave the broth behind. You will feel healthy as you leave the place. Will be great to have for hangover or when you are sick. I went on a weekend night for dinner and the restaurant was a little quiet. I think this place is most suitable for lunch. “My mother and I visited this location and had the best service of all the restaurants we visited during my vacation. Our server was friendly, funny and took excellent care of us. When our meal was finished he was sweet and gave us soup and bread refills to go with our meal leftovers.
