“Cute airport, amazing to watch the airplanes land. Only had the hot dog and delicious cookie. They have a cute little shop for souvenirs. You can walk around and watch the planes, has seating area outdoors and indoors. We stopped here as part of Eco tour Catalina Island Conservancy.”

“Lovely time! The burgers were unexpectedly good! Very juicy and a nice texture. I got a cheese burger and strawberry milkshake. The milkshakes are delicious and reasonably priced. The burger was a bit small for what I expected, but the flavor more than made up for it.

The restaurant is open air but still cozy, plenty of seating. Would recommend!”

“We have eaten at Steve’s Steakhouse the last 2 nights. We brought our fresh fish catch last night and they cooked it 3 different ways. All excellent! Tonight we came back for Ribeyes and Baked Potatoes!!! Logan Rehm Says So Darn Good!!!!”

“We stopped in for a day trip I read this was the place to go according to the locals online and man it didn’t disappoint!! Alex was our main bartender he was awesome! The locals were all so kind we did the teriyaki beef it was sooo good! Drinks were on point the atmosphere and workers were all so inviting! We look forward to a trip back !”

“The seared Ahi sandwich was fantastic, so flavorful and fresh. The buffalo burger was great too. Good drinks and friendly service. We went on a Thursday and we were the last ones in there before they closed so we want to go back to get more of the atmosphere on the weekend. Would recommend!”

“Some of the best food I have ever had. Clam chowder was creamy and good. Da bomb shrimp had great flavor and was cooked perfect. My wife commented that the sea bass was some of the best fish she had ever had. Our server was very personable and welcoming. Talked a bit and shared his recommendations for each dish to make it the best possible. This play is way better for quality and price than many of the other options on the island!”

“I used the Vons app today for a one hour delivery time frame via the Carlsbad, CA store. After the third-party member picked up the order and did not deliver for almost three hours, I requested a refund for the melted ice cream which I received promptly. I certainly did not expect to see this a couple of hours later: a refund for the entire purchase...thank you Vons for going above and beyond with your customer service!”

“Antonio’s has been in Avalon since the late 70’s, and has had amazing food the whole time. This is a very small, casual spot to sit back, relax, and have great pizza and pasta. I eat at Antonio’s every time I am in Avalon, no exceptions. This is not the Antonio’s cabaret on the water that closed- this is the original location on Sumner Avenue, and it is very much still open!”

“This place is great for someone wrapping up the TCT or even for someone just section hiking/camping for a few days.

I love to grab breakfast here on the morning I plan to go back on the ferry.

This past trip I had chicken tenders when we came in as a day 0 type of thing and on our way out I had the e-bay (everything BEC bagel). I remember the service being really slow the last time we were on the island, with just 1 person working the register and 1 person in the kitchen, but this time they had at least double that and the service was quick, which was preferable.

“Good food, good service. Went here because the lines were very long at other places and we just wanted a quick bite for breakfast. Prices were similar to mainland and reasonable. My husband an I agree that the food was very good, much better than expected. Skip the lines and come here!!”

“We sat on the front patio.... the setting was lovely, enhanced by background music. An excellent selection of authentic Italian food. The servers were very friendly and helpful and the food was terrific. It also was not as "jam packed" as other places so we enjoyed the quieter setting.”

“NF has been the best gluten free option we have found on-island for lunch or dinner. Vegan tacos, shrimp and rice, and corn empanadas were exactly what we were looking for after a day of biking and exploring.”

“Went there for drinks while waiting for people in our group to finish their activities. Super friendly bar staff. Didn't order any food. Sat at the rooftop with some great views. There is no service on the rooftop. Cleaning up from the previous clients, glasses, bottles etc. could be timely.”

“I would have rated this place a 5 start, Not only because is the only fast food open in Catalina Island 24/7 you should be so rude (talking about the only employee attending at night shift that January 17, 2026) to rude.. other than that food is good, Carne asada fries, carne asada burrito..”
