“We stopped in for a day trip I read this was the place to go according to the locals online and man it didn’t disappoint!! Alex was our main bartender he was awesome! The locals were all so kind we did the teriyaki beef it was sooo good! Drinks were on point the atmosphere and workers were all so inviting! We look forward to a trip back !”

“If you’re looking for a fun place to hang out while you’re visiting Avalon - this is your place! This restaurant/bar exudes a carefree, tiki hut type establishment. The music is loud but it creates such a fun vibe. The servers are joyful, it’s like they’re having a blast while working which makes it that more fun. It’s a smaller place so finding a seat can be a mission but if you can, I highly advise that you give this place a try. It’ll be worth it.”

“Not on the main drag, but definitely a don’t miss spot. Ardis was helpful and made fantastic drinks. Beers are definitely reasonably priced. Shocked it wasn’t packed to the gills in here. Come here when you stumble off a cruise or come to the island. You will NOT be disappointed.

Also, the bathroom was super clean.”

“My husband and I enjoyed excellent bison burgers on Tuesday during our second day on the Trans Catalina Trail. Definitely make a stop and let Mike and his crew take care of you in this beautiful setting.”

“Some of the best food I have ever had. Clam chowder was creamy and good. Da bomb shrimp had great flavor and was cooked perfect. My wife commented that the sea bass was some of the best fish she had ever had. Our server was very personable and welcoming. Talked a bit and shared his recommendations for each dish to make it the best possible. This play is way better for quality and price than many of the other options on the island!”

“Let's start with this is a ca$h only establishment. Not a problem as I had cash while visiting Catalina Island. And while talking $$$ it was price affordable, price right and fairer that some other local restaurants. It's tucked away and seems like a local favorite. It's away from the tourist attractions on the main strip.. Menu options Korean and Mexican but trust me don't let that stop you if you wanted something American ish.

“The food is delicious! I had the 1/2 rack of ribs that were fall off the bone delish and my husband had the Prime rib sandwich. Soooo good! (& sorry no time to take photos as we dug in and couldn’t stop! Besides my fingers were full of finger licking good sauce!)”

“After exploring the island we were ready to have a bite to eat. Everything on the main walkway was overcrowded so we went down a side street and accidentally found Antonios Pizza. We decided to order a whole pizza which you could only do inside. We were waited on promptly and our pizza came fast as well. The pizza was delicious, the crust and the sauce was perfect and our toppings were perfectly blended on the pizza. Our waitress was a delight, very attentive and polite. If we ever travel to Catalina Island again we will definitely stop in for a pizza. Highly recommend.”

“Their pickle pear margarita was very good and I also really like their empanada. The atmosphere is really cool inside. Up on the roof would’ve been cool to sit on but with the sun blazing didn’t get that opportunity.”

“Leticia and Rosie were so sweet and friendly I actually came back a second time on the same morning. They serve Illy coffee for both drip and espresso, which is a personal fave. I only wish it were brewed a tad stronger, but then I like my coffee really dark. Bagel was also very fresh.”

“Man, I got food allergies and most places act like it’s a hassle. But Samir came out the kitchen, talked to me one-on-one, and made me something fresh that was fire and safe for me to eat. Real respectful, made me feel at home.

I came back the next week with my people. We all eat there now. That’s real customer service. Salute to Samir.”

“We came here our first night in Avalon for my birthday dinner. The location is excellent and the patio is beautiful. One of the few restaurants on Catalina that takes reservations and it has a little bit more of a “fancy” vibe while remaining accessible. The steak and octopus were delicious and the decadent chocolate cake is exactly as described.

The most notable quality of the night was the incredible and attentive service. The staff were wonderful, while not being overbearing and the meal was timed out perfectly. Definitely a must visit in Avalon!”

The asada taco was a healthy portion of meat topped with fresh onion guacamole sauce. Tortilla held together and added a wonderful chew. Salsa has a nice heat. Smokey elements.

Outside seating. And super fast and friendly service.

“We visited here for dinner though. It's very popular breakfast place. We were very happy to be escorted to a nice table. Esmeralda took the orders and helped guide us through the availability of Italian dishes. I took the salad and the minestron soup. They were excellent. Noodles with meatballs and well cooked. Rub yeoli dish with spinach. Everything tasted, yummy drinks were available. We went in for simple Coke and water. The service was very good and being a birthday. They gave a complimentary tiramisu, which was icing on the cake. Excellent place. We enjoyed all the hospitality and great service. Very reasonable prices and made evelyn, even more memorable”
