“On a holiday retreat, and after so many big and expensive meals over the Christmas and Chanukkah holidays, we were thrilled to discover Ming's tucked away off the Main Street in Tiburon. Though GPS took us there, it was still somewhat hard to find. But we percevered Tiny and no frills, but bright and colorful. A birthday party was going on in the corner. A husband and wife and their little girl enjoying a feast across from us. Lots of people coming and going for takeout. But our server, took our order and delicious hot plates of food begam to appear. Potstickers, Wonton Soup, and Kung Pao Chicken plus a bowl of rice. It was all wonderful and enough to take home for dinner the next day. Likely, the best meal of our three-night stay. It's the simple things that matter most.“

Sourdough croissants! Brilliant. Flawless scones that are delightful crunchy and melt-away all at once. Memorable savory breadsticks and focaccia, perfect coffee-cake, cookies and exceptional bread loaves with daily changing variations that are, literally, all listed on a monthly calendar on the website.

“A very cozy place in the financial district. Even though we went on a weekend, there were still a lot of people working there. Their pour over coffee is reasonably priced and they also provide coffee beans in the shop. I like the paintings they have inside. The coffee also comes with a postcard telling us where the coffee beans come from and the history, which I think is very nice. If you like coffee, I recommend giving this place a try.“

It was one of the best salads I have ever had in San Francisco; the brightness of the grapefruit cut through the richness of the duck beautifully. Desserts: Celebrating National Cocoa Day! To celebrate National Cocoa Day Dec. 13th-I couldn't resist. I highly suggest partaking in the Hot Chocolate for a decadent dessert item—it was rich, velvety, and a perfect holiday treat. And if you still have room, the Cheesecake with Brown Sugar is another truly fantastic dessert that offers a wonderful, comforting finish to the meal. “One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“Came here for a friend catchup and we got seated and had a reservation beforehand.

Good:
- The ramen came out very quickly - I got the classic ramen bowl
- The portion size was good - I was very full by the end
- A nice place to catch up - it's got japanese izakaya vibes and more dimly lit

Bad:
- The soup was really salty so it felt like it was unhealthy to drink too much of it

Overall this was a solid place to have an extended catch up and the ramen was quick and tasty.“

“I have nothing negative to say about this place. I’ve came here a hand full of times and every time the food is good, the service is efficient and I haven’t had to wait (yet). You know it’s good when my kids go back for seconds and thirds. The price is very decent too. This place is fairly clean. Parking is a bit of a pain but definitely worth it. The owner is some Chinese rapper and advocate for the community. There’s so much to like about this spot that it has earned a 5 star rating from me.“

“Without a doubt the best breakfast sandwiches on thee planet! I have referred a friend who said “it’s in a league of its own.” I will start with the buttery yet still flakey buttermilk biscuit. When you take a bite it’s just goes perfectly with the bacon and egg. It’s like a party in your mouth! They also have amazing blueberry & Apple cinnamon muffins that are unbelievably moist! The banana nut bread is just as fabulous. I can’t wait to go back and trie a scone. The best part is they also made fresh home made dog treats!
