“A very cozy place in the financial district. Even though we went on a weekend, there were still a lot of people working there. Their pour over coffee is reasonably priced and they also provide coffee beans in the shop. I like the paintings they have inside. The coffee also comes with a postcard telling us where the coffee beans come from and the history, which I think is very nice. If you like coffee, I recommend giving this place a try.“

“We caught an early seating in the parklet. It's fine for a parklet, inside has much more character, but we were outside. The wind picked up a bit and the often parklet downside of windy was true.

We got their oyster, clams combo and added a special of fried cod and potato salad along with shrimp salad and garlic bread.

The oysters were really good, we had 2 each of the 3 types they had that day. Really tasty with a great layout and description of what to expect. Personally I really liked the vinegar shallot sauce.

The clams in that sauce... It was the absolute star of the evening. We booked the bread, and decided to save some for take out to make some pasta with it at home. Super good clams.

The fried cod and potato salad. The cod was flaky, but it was a bit generic in flavor. Not bad, not great. The potato salad was significantly better than the fish on this one.

Garlic bread was on the crisp side, good but a little more doughy would be better for soaking up the clam sauce.

The salad was our least favorite dish, honestly I suspect the soup is the way to go here, but we didn't try it on this visit.“

“The food was outstanding! We however went for our anniversary meal, and were wisked in and out in 50 minutes! Plates were wisked away seconds after they came, we literally twice had the food in our hands mid-bite when plates were taken away, some with food still in them. We tried to slow it down and keep food in the plates so we could talk, but as soon as we lifted a piece, whish- gone and another plate in its place. Turning over tables overtly or bad timing, I'm not sure.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I am a business owner a few doors down and I wandered in with a friend after work one night about a month ago. We were met with such incredible warmth from the staff and the environment itself, even without a reservation. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Josh, only to find out later that he is the owner. He made excellent recommendations on everything from our drinks to dessert. The bar didn’t feel isolated from the rest of the restaurant and guests, but rather was lively hub frequented by kitchen and serving staff and warmed by a smoldering wood fire. The coziest. We swooned for the poke appetizer, complete with house-made toasted, but not crisp, blue corn tortillas. The pork shoulder tacos—also to die for. I have to say though, that the star on the sidelines was the beans. I honestly didn’t know I could feel this way about beans…but I digress. Josh bounced around from table to table all night, never letting a single ball drop, making every guest feel like *his* guest. A pot de crème sealed the evening in perfect bliss. I’m back a month later with the same friend, eating different and somehow even more incredible entrees: ribeye, halibut and a rhubarb crisp for dessert. I scarcely ever take the time to write a review as I prefer to vote with my $ and my feet, but I simply couldn’t eat here again without taking the time to sing it’s praises. Eat here.“

It was one of the best salads I have ever had in San Francisco; the brightness of the grapefruit cut through the richness of the duck beautifully. Desserts: Celebrating National Cocoa Day! To celebrate National Cocoa Day Dec. 13th-I couldn't resist. I highly suggest partaking in the Hot Chocolate for a decadent dessert item—it was rich, velvety, and a perfect holiday treat. And if you still have room, the Cheesecake with Brown Sugar is another truly fantastic dessert that offers a wonderful, comforting finish to the meal. “This is such a nice chill spot for delicious fried chicken and cornbread muffins. The bucket of fried chicken was obviously brined because it came out moist and juicy. I purposely tried a drumstick and thigh to test if the cooking time was perfect. It came out perfect and the crust was crunchy. The Fresno chili hot sauce on the table was a great addition to the fried chicken. The cornbread muffins are probably underrated. It's easy to go for the other sides but the muffins had a great crispy exterior and a soft and delicious interior.“

“The first time I came here I ordered the special pandan coffee and it was a little watery and I could taste the coffee, and the pandan was overpowering but I tried it again this week and I really enjoyed it. I felt like the coffee was really aromatic and I could taste the pandan as well.
I also love how the staff here are really sweet and accommodating and there is enough space to sit and relax“
