“Jane’s Cafe is the kind of neighborhood spot you wish you had everywhere. Friendly, fast service and genuinely fresh food.

Our breakfast burritos came hot with crispy potatoes, the grilled panini on ciabatta was melty and satisfying, and the açaí bowl tasted super fresh. Coffee’s legit too (they pour Illy).

Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the team treats you like family. We’ll be back!“

“Most amazing brunch we have had in a long time. Our server, Valentina, was absolutely amazing and super nice. We were just overwhelmed by the welcoming atmosphere of this beautiful place. Mind you, the food was out of this world including my Bloody Mary, which was served with a freshly roasted jalapeño and two strips of very crispy bacon, sticking out out of the top along with some delicious mint leaves. Stopped in for a quick breakfast before whale watching, being out of towners we didn’t know where to go. Daughter has a dairy allergy and it’s tricky at times to find the right place. Emma’s was everything we needed, they made sure to fit in my daughters dietary needs and even made sure the food came out quickly so we could make our whale watching“

“The food is good, the people is really kindly and gave the best service that they can. But I don't know why they schedule just 1 people to attend!
I am a frequent customer at the mornings around 6 am to 7 am and always have only 1 people to get the dine in orders, to go orders, attend the customer, etc.. so even if they are very kindly it is imposible give a good service to the people because we have to wait 15 min yo get a standard breakfast sampler, and another 10 min to get the check and pay.
This is a high traffic restaurant in the morning due to the otay border so I suggest add 1 people more to attend the customer.“

“Been waiting for my food for about an hour at this point. Other guests have been seated served and left already while we still wait on our order. We've asked and have been given no time estimate of when the food will arrive.

Update: got my food, carried to my room so we could eat while getting ready for the rest of the day. Food is ok. Steak was overcooked. The waitress was kind and sympathetic.

Update 2: day 2, service is still great. Atmosphere is the same of course. The food was actually really good even if it took a while yesterday. Might update the stars from 1 to more depending on how it goes!“

“Amazing clean restaurant, the most delicious food. The service is 100/100 the guy with the great spider tattoo is so friendly and nice, it almost make you feel like your eating at home. He tries to give you the best service and he succeeded.
The food is so fresh and great temperature.
I totally recommend it. Is by far better than a lot more other shops in San Diego and Chula Vista area.“
