“My 10yo daughter and I had breakfast here and we were very happy. We got eggs, bacon, pancakes and my daughter said it was SUPER YUMMY ?. I thought they were one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had and I didn’t even put syrup on them. I also got an iced mocha and loved it! Definitely recommended for kids and adults. The vibe is chill like a typical diner. We’d definitely come back.“

“The restaurant is very intimate but still has that diner feel to it. I brought my daughter here for a breakfast date and they were very accompdating when she asked to switch seats so she could sit next to me.

I ordered a caramel machiatto, bacon, eggs, and a Nutella waffle. My daughter had an M&M pancake and bacon. I got a to go order for my husband and he got the Kobe and a French toast with Nutella.

The presentation was beautiful. You could tell they slowed down to make beautiful lines of nutella on the waffle. The waffle was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside; just how it should be! The bacon was crunchy and fresh and the eggs were soft and fluffy. My caramel machiatto was one of the best I've ever had. There was caramel milk foam on top that was to die for.

My daughter had 1 pancake and I'm glad the waitress told me they were huge because she wanted two. She ate half of it because the pancake was the size of the plate so she's taking the rest home. This would be a good option to split if you had kids who wanted the same flavor.

There is ample parking since there are many different businesses located near it. Which is nice since parking is something that is always lacking in San Diego

“Been waiting for my food for about an hour at this point. Other guests have been seated served and left already while we still wait on our order. We've asked and have been given no time estimate of when the food will arrive.

Update: got my food, carried to my room so we could eat while getting ready for the rest of the day. Food is ok. Steak was overcooked. The waitress was kind and sympathetic.

Update 2: day 2, service is still great. Atmosphere is the same of course. The food was actually really good even if it took a while yesterday. Might update the stars from 1 to more depending on how it goes!“

I had met my long time friends at IHOP on Saturn Blvd for breakfast last Friday. This was our first time together eating at an IHOP. My all time fave breakfast dish is the veggie omelette next to pancake and egg breakfast. Just breakfast at IHOP.

As we entered the restaurant, my friends and I were greeted and seated immediately at a booth. Our server was mediocre server, but she wasn’t awful. She forgot an extra food item my friend requested, by the time our server came back, my friend no longer had any interest. Although all tables in our area were full, our server checked on us only once.

We hung around eating and chatting more, which ended up being close to 3 hours until we finally called it a day.

We had a great morning. Our IHOP experience was good👍🏼

“Came here on a Sunday morning for breakfast and had great service from Carmen. She was friendly and attentive - 5 star service.

However, I came here craving the turkey sausage I usually get from IHOP and was extreme disappointed when I was told this location doesn’t offer it- only turkey bacon. Would love to see a bit more consistency with the chain. In my opinion, that a benefit of eating at a chain - knowing you can get your favorites no matter where you go.

Overall, I have a good experience dining here, mainly due to Carmen, but the food was good as well.“

“My husband and I had breakfast here last week, and the service and food were excellent!! We were greeted within a few minutes of being seated by our waitress. She was very friendly and efficient. My eggs were not cooked quite right, and they immediately made them correctly, without hesitation. The biscuits with cream cheese filling and strawberries were absolutely outstanding!! This was the best breakfast and service I've had from Ihop ever!!“
