When I have my next party I want to try Pick up Stix catering. I would prefer for the food come from this Pick up Stix(747). Today we were helped by Mario; he was wonderful. “So pleasantly surprised by this place! We got the both XLB flavors, a couple of the dumplings, orange chicken and chicken chow mein. The noodles in the chow mein were slightly overcooked but that didn't take away from the flavor. All the dumplings were delicious and the orange chicken was some of the best I've had. Crispy and sweet but not overly sweet. We have picky kids and all of them devoured the food. Prices were fair and we are looking forward to returning! Service was great, waitstaff were nice and food came out quick!“

“The best Chinese food I've ever had. For real. We ordered the family dinner # 2, it was $22 per person - there was only 2 of us. (I was hungry so no judgment lol). it came with wonton soup, cream cheese wontons, egg rolls, bbq pork for an appetizer. Orange chicken, beef and brocolli and rice (fried or steamed). We also added house noodles since we came with our toddler and also I was hungry. The family meal itself although it was meant for 2, would have fed 4. We took home enough leftovers to have another full meal and lunch for me :)The orange chicken was by far, best I've had. It was so crispy, I hate when places drench it in sauce and it's soggy... or worse they bread it so much there's a tiny chicken nugget in there. The flavor was also perfect, not too sweet or tangy. The brocolli and veggies in the beef and brocolli and noodles were so fresh and I like my brocolli still a little crunchy, which it was. My son is 2 and half, he LOVED the noodles and the wontons in the soup. The service was FAST, I mean we got our food super quick and they were really nice and kept checking in.Do not miss this this spot! It doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is better than anywhere I've had in a long time!“

“I'll say this, if you only order the spare ribs off of the appetizer menu, you'll be completely satisfied! I ordered lo mein and the ribs together. The noodles came out quickly and were 2/5. Nothing special. But when the ribs came out I was shocked! So many and so big! Absolutely delicious sauce! Growing up in BBQ heaven, these are easily some of the best ribs I've ever had! 9/10!!! Order the spare ribs!“

“I only get the salt and pepper wings (well done) to go. We call them "Crack wings" cuz they are so good. Always consistently good. I never ate at the restaurant and it doesn't look like a place I want to. If the other food is as good as the wings it's a big win.Parking: Plenty of parking. “I've been a loyal customer of Mandarin Beijing for quite some time now, and I have to say, they never disappoint! The food quality is consistently excellent, which keeps me coming back time and time again. The customer service is top-notch as well. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food. The salt pepper wings are an absolute must-try! They're crispy, flavorful, and addictively delicious. It's my go-to appetizer every time I visit. Recently, I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and try the mabo tofu, and I'm so glad I did! It was out of this world--spicy, savory, and packed with flavor. I've decided that it's going to be a regular order for me from now on. And if that's not enough, my wife absolutely loves the eggplant dish here. It's cooked to perfection and always leaves her satisfied.“

“Just an all around good Chinese Restaurant. Food portions were large and quite tasty. On the dishes that are spicy you can ask them to turn down the spiciness or shut it out completely, they were happy to do so. Friendly staff make the place a hidden gemVegetarian options: You can ask for no meat in your dish, no eggs in your fried rice and let's face it the meal is mostly vegetables anywaysParking: It's in a strip mall so you get what you find. Order was only like $60 I guess but should I be tipping if it's a pick up order?“

“I am literally eating as I am writing about how amazing the food is at this place, first time having food at this place and the ladies at the front desk were incredibly kind to us since I think I made a mistake with the order and they made our food again, I felt so bad but they were still super nice. When we got home I knew only because of the great customer service I had to write a review but then we started eating the food and it is probably one of the best Chinese food we've ever had. Try the spicy szechuan beef, low mein, and the orange chicken. The sweet lady also gave us a conplimentary dish that I don't know exactly what it is (I believe a tofu dish), and it was also delicious. We will definitely be back, amazing customer service, and amazing food 10/10“

“What a delicious meal. It's so rare that you go to a place that each dish you order is a 10/10 but this is one of those places! We came here for lunch on a Saturday morning, party of 6 and they were able to seat us right away. We ordered a cucumber salad, shrimp chow mein, Mongolian beef, Dan Dan noodles, fried rice with ham, Xiao long bao, cumin on, vegan dumplings, pork bao, and fried chicken... So basically mostly everything on the menu. The chow mein was love at first bite, and the cucumber salad (not pictured) had a sauce that was drinkable. The vegan dumplings were an excellent option! Zero complaints and we were very happily surprised by everything we ordered!“

“The wife and I just had lunch here. We had two lunch specials. Salt & Pepper wings and Kung Pao Chicken. We were greeted and sat immediately. The owner/chefs all said hello and goodbye, and we even got a table touch from who I can only assume was the owner. Great to see that happening. Wings great, hot and crunchy, savory and salty. Kung pao chicken had great flavor, my wife was a little disappointed that it wasn't spicy, but nothing a little chili oil couldn't fix. Chili was awesome. Really spicy. The also bring you wontons and sweet and sour sauce as a small appetizer before your meal. The portions were amazing. You get rice, wonton, and an egg roll. I had to take two boxes homes. After two wings and a few bites of kung pao chicken and rice, i was done. The whole dining experience was awesome. We will be back.“

“As someone from Hawaii where there is a large asian, esp chinese culture, this is by far the greatest tasting/quality chinese food i have ever had the pleasure of eating. Not only did i order takeout, but i had a massive order about 30 minutes before they closed. Usually this means bad quality, but here i am writing this review. I even tried calling them to tell them how phenominal this is, unfortunately it was 9 and they probably thought i was trying to order, so understandable. The garlic chicken reminded me of home, crispy, sweet savory. Fried rice, fantastic. The basics were all on point. I am honestly astonished at how good this place is. They deserve to be completely bombarded with customers. This placw should be full, always.I highly, highly recommend trying this restaurant out. The garlic fried chicken, orange peel chicken, mong. Beef, fried rice, EVERYTHING try it ALL.Also i usually only write reviews when a restaurant screws me over or has bad food, so the fact that im writing a good review you should take in account for.“

“Yelp led me here and I am so glad that yall dont ever let me down! Upon arrival it looks a little old school from the outside and even inside but let me tell you.... This place is bomb! Parking is small and tight but the few times we went was later at night so we didnt have a problem with finding parking. Inside the restauraunt there was 2 other people waiting. We ordered to go and it took maybe 15-20 mins for it to be done because we ordered a lot. We had the walnut shrimp, kung pao , chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, noodles....just a little bit of everything and it was flavorful with great portions. I wish I got some pics for you to see but next time, I promise! They also have a selection of boba I have yet to try! Will definitely be coming back!!“

“This little spot is a doughnut shop feel, but I was on the hunt for chicken and waffles. I ended up getting 1 waffle and some of the juiciest fried chicken pieces I've ever tasted. They had a unique coconut cream sauce that was for the waffle. It was so good. If I am ever in San Diego again I would love to go back. There wasn't any room to sit and eat inside so I ate in my car.“

“Disclaimer: I am from the east coast and west coast Chinese food does not taste the same to me.I only had their version of the salt & pepper wings and fried rice. Both tasted great. The chicken tasted better and was crispier, to me, than the more popular restaurant frequented by the military. The fried rice was flavorful and a good size for two people to eat.The restaurant was clean but was definitely out dated. Luckily I was there for the food not for interior design.CON: they accept cash only, limited parkingPRO: Good food, seems like a "local secret" so not super busy“

“I came here for lunch on Labor Day with my mom and my grandma. It was a recommended spot-- my grandma heard about it from a friend. The inside was spotless and they had many tables/seating. I liked the left side of the space because it was more light than the right. It felt a bit dimmer on the right side of the restaurant, that could be from the way the sun was entering through the windows as well. They are big on cleanliness; after a customer leaves, they wipe down the tables and sweep under the tables. They have hoisin and sriracha condiments in refillable bottles. Their sriracha is a bit more orange than usual so it must be one of the newer bottles. They supply the table with individually packaged wooden chopsticks which is nice. They are on the circular side which I like because it's easier to pick up food. The workers were really kind and friendly, smiling, and held great conversations about the restaurant. To eat we ordered: grilled pork spring rolls, pho tai, and 2 che desserts. The spring rolls were really good, freshly rolled. It had a nice balance of noodles to veggies. Inside it had lettuce, carrots/daikon, crispy egg roll wrapper, beansprouts, and nem nuong. The peanut sauce was more on the lighter side, so barely any hoisin mixed in. And it was quite thin, but overall very much enjoyable. You get two rolls and it's cut in half-- so you get 4 pieces! A great sharing starter. The pho tai...It was decent. I don't think the broth tasted particularly clean and the rare steak was overcooked by the time it came to us (my mistake, I forgot to ask for it on a side plate). We were given a small plate of veggies such as beansprouts, sliced jalapeno, lemon, and basil. But I feel like they should have given us a bit more than that one small plate since 3 people were eating pho. Personally, I wouldn't get the pho again...perhaps try something else on the menu! For the che, I forget the name of which it was called on the menu. But one of them came out and it reminded me of che thai-- it had red rubies (aka water chestnuts), banh lot (pandan jelly), sweet mung bean paste, and coconut milk. This looked amazing. But the red rubies were overcooked and very clumped together. It was still warm, the red rubies have to be dunked in a cold water bath to be separated before being added into che thai. And the banh lot was tasteless and too soft. The coconut milk was thin and not very sweet. Because most aspects of the dessert drink went in while still warm it had melted the crushed ice and made it quite watery. This che thai, in my opinion, was not good. I wouldn't get it again. The other che was my grandma's choice and it had colored milk jelly, slivered almonds, longan, and crushed ice. It was refreshing, but not much flavor. Overall, a good restaurant. (3-4 stars). There are a few things I'd skip next time coming here. But the menu is a few pages and they have different dishes so I am open to trying more of the menu on my next visit. In comparison, the prices here were much more affordable than other restaurants. Hopefully, next time they will take the time to make their che thai better (:“

I absolutely love their beef & Broccoli, it’s always fresh, filled with so much beef and vegetables and they also add in different vegetables when you request it in the app which is a bonus! “I love Pho. I base the majority of opinion on the strength of the flavor of their soup. The stronger the flavor the less they rushed it when cooking it earlier. The portion was exactly like I like, not too much but definitely not too little. Ingredients were all good except the mint leaves look like there were used. Leaves were ripped in half and looked like it was picked on. Not saying it was but it had that appearance and they should know better. I had mine to go and it was wrapped up so I didn’t look inside. They gave out packets of the hoisin sauce and a packet of fake sriracha 1 each…that equals a loss of a star or it’s 5 easy.“
