The food smells here are great! You know the kitchen is really cooking. It's also a very welcoming place with friendly service. Can't wait to go back!“

“Our experience at Waterbar was wonderful! We Sat on the patio outside and soaked in the incredible view. Once it got chilly, they closed the large door to block the cold air for comfort. Our server, Patricia, was kind, friendly and very helpful. The food was amazing! We started with oysters & champagne, then dorade and swordfish as main courses. The dorade was so flavorful and delicate and cooked perfectly. Since it is a whole fish, bones & head were included but so easy to separate the meat to enjoy. The swordfish was cooked ever so slightly rare and a nice, light meal. We finished the dinner with banana cheesecake and pecan creme brûlée. Bananas foster accompanied the cheesecake and the texture and flavor of the creme brûlée was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit!“

“Best Haitian food in the Bay Area hands-down! This was our first time trying Haitian food and it did not disappoint. Oxtail meat fell off the bone, jerk chicken spice was perfect. “Hands down our favorite go-to restaurant when we are in the city going out to dinner, or when we are looking to take out-of-towners someplace truly unique, or when we are looking to bring the most delicious dinner home. The seafood is as fresh and high quality as it gets, served in the most unique way. Start with the chowder, packed with a wide variety of shellfish, spiced just right with a little kick to it, neither New England nor Manhattan, they have invented a new broth that is both rich and flavorful while being light. The Scallops are a must try. They simply melt in your mouth with a burst of complex flavors. The small plate tostadas meld flavors and textures you just can’t find anywhere else. Although it is located on Divisadero in a multi-block long string of restaurants, the atmosphere inside has the feel of the most comfortable neighborhood bistro. Impecable service all at a very reasonable price for the quality and the creativity and joy the food will bring to your palate.“

“Food was super delicious! Check pea flour fried artichokes hearts we yummy, Deviled eggs are the best starter and a must have on every visit. This was our first time having the Shrimp Louie salad and it is now my favorite in all of SF. It is shredded and ready to eat. Presentation alone has high marks and the flavors were perfectly balanced. We split the Cioppino with the added pasta on the side. Yuu-uuuummmmm! Lots of seafood and the soup base had us making deals for the dregs at the end.“

“Had lunch at the little shucker. It is an interesting place. Lunch menu is simple and focused on seafood. All seafood dishes are fresh and cooked to perfection. The salad didn’t look too appealing but tasted delicious. Actually we loved everything we ordered. Our favorite appetizer is scallop tartare and Brussels sprouts. The roasted whole fish is also excellent. The portion is small but we don’t mind. They definitely deserve a five star rating for food. However the plates were really shabby and worse than those used in school cafeterias. I would not use these for my dogs or cats. The decorations are also very bland. I think the purpose might be to create a casual and relaxing atmosphere. Chairs and benches are not comfortable. I would probably come for a quick bite or a glass of wine but not a real sit down meal with friends.“

“I had an absolutely wonderful experience visiting this place. It’s a new restaurant, open for just a little over a month. I stumbled upon it by chance on Google Maps while looking for somewhere that serves fresh, delicious oysters late in the evening.

When I walked in, I was truly amazed by the atmosphere, the interior, and the unique style that filled the space. Looking at the menu made it even more exciting, as the restaurant offers far more than just fresh oysters and seafood — the variety of dishes is impressive. Every plate that came out of the kitchen was a delight and a surprise. The subtle layers of flavor, the elegant presentation, and the unexpected notes that gave a whole new perception of taste were simply outstanding.

The service was excellent, with light background music that perfectly complemented the ambiance. I can confidently say this place is a solid 5 out of 5, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

A special thank you to the incredible chef Felix, who came out at the end of the evening, offered us a kind gesture, and treated us to his signature dessert. Honestly, it was one of those rare moments where you can feel the immense love poured into every detail, every action, and every touch that makes this restaurant truly exceptional.“
