“A legit Hawaiian food spot, I haven't had a good garlic shrimp plate in CA until now (it reminds me of Giovanni's shrimps). Also, I tried their crunchy Gojujang fried chicken and beef ribs and they were delicious. I would definitely recommend these dishes as a first timer here and wash it down with Dole pineapple slushy.“

Not only was the storefront decorated with Hawaii themed memorabilia that made me feel at home but the service and food was A+We ordered two spam musubi ( a Hawaii classic) the Teri Mix Plate and Seafood Mix Plate.First off, everything is made to order NO food is sitting around and the food is FRESH!All the food was excellent and had amazing flavor reminding me of home! The spam musubi and Mac salad were amazing and it felt like I was still in Hawaii!I 1000% recommend this restaurant and you should definitely stop by when coming to Disneyland!P.S. It's the usual line up of choose your base: salad, brown or white rice or half/half and then proteins and add on's. Highly recommend coming out here to have a delicious poke on rice and salad.“

Reminds me of a NYC Automat only a 21st-century interpretation with self-service menu ordering terminals, no coin or currency, smartphone updates, and access to retrieving your order from numbered/lettered lockers. They ate their whole plates and I only ate half, trying to save room for ice cream at Afters next door. I would say I enjoyed my plate except for the ground beef patties were tough. I wish they were more tender like burger patties at fast food restaurants, but the gravy was better than all of the other local Hawaiian style restaurants around since it tasted real and not from a can or dry mix taste like other places. “There are several different Hawaiian BBQ , however if you have not ever tried the food at this place you are in huge luck. Prices are more than fair in todays world.
The taste of there food is awesome to say the least, and for them to give you like 3 pounds of food .mostly beef, if that's your choice is even better. I been eating here and showing new friends here for over 10 yrs.“

If I had one negative view, it would be the price, $17 for the plate, but I guess it’s a sign of inflation in this economy.“

“We really enjoy the Loft Hawaiian food. They closed the really big nice one in Torrance and now there are multiple small ones with simple decor. The food is still amazing but the atmosphere is a bit less than the big restaurant was. I recommend everything but my favorite dishes are. Lomi Salmon, spam musubi, island style fried chicken, lau law and of course the kalua pork. It seems like everything comes with rice and macaroni salad. 😋 so good. I don't think you can go wrong here everything is delicious.“

“I was craving Spam Masubi so I came here. Unfortunately, the Spam Masubi tasted like it was sitting all day. The Spam was thin, crispy and dry. Not cooked the way I'm used to. I bit into it and it didn't have a fresh taste to it. I also ordered the combination plate with beef short ribs and fried shrimp. The short ribs were on the saltier side, but tender and flavorful. The fried shrimp were cooked too long tasting harder and crunchier than they should have been. The white rice was soft and fresh. The macaroni salad was fresh. The service was great. Server is friendly. The food also came quick. I may come back to give this place a second try in case they were off their game. But $32 for an unpleasant experience was too expensive.“
