“We had lunch here the other day. There is a ton of parking available. You will find Shootz in the back right corner of Rodeo 39. It is a small and comfortable space.

We started with two refreshers to drink. We got a mango green tea lemonade and a strawberry pineapple lemonade. Both were delicious and refreshing.

We got an order of spam brulee musubi. The combinations of flavors was so good. Also, get some kimchi butter to dunk the musubi in.

Next up was a katsu chicken sando. The chicken is basted in kimchi butter. It is topped with mac salad. It is so simple and yet so delicious. I also dunked the sando in kimchi butter.

We also got a shrimp and katsu mix plate. We poured kimchi butter all over it. The shrimp were large and delicious. The katsu was crispy and flavorful. I loved that there was a good portion of rice and mac salad served with it.

Comforting Hawaiian food and great service make this a place I cannot wait to come back to.“

“A legit Hawaiian food spot, I haven't had a good garlic shrimp plate in CA until now (it reminds me of Giovanni's shrimps). Also, I tried their crunchy Gojujang fried chicken and beef ribs and they were delicious. I would definitely recommend these dishes as a first timer here and wash it down with Dole pineapple slushy.“

Place looks good ONLY 1 issue the drink station is bad looks like it has some rust and old dry liquid that escapes from it I think all that rust is in the ice and maybe in the water that mixes with the soda they need to change it or get it maintained as you can see in pictures it’s been like this for a while…“

Reminds me of a NYC Automat only a 21st-century interpretation with self-service menu ordering terminals, no coin or currency, smartphone updates, and access to retrieving your order from numbered/lettered lockers. “First time eating here and we had a positive experience. My husband and kid both had the regular katsu curry plates and I had a regular size Loco moco. They ate their whole plates and I only ate half, trying to save room for ice cream at Afters next door. I would say I enjoyed my plate except for the ground beef patties were tough. I wish they were more tender like burger patties at fast food restaurants, but the gravy was better than all of the other local Hawaiian style restaurants around since it tasted real and not from a can or dry mix taste like other places. The macaroni salad was yummy too. Reasonably priced with generous portions, we would definitely come back to try other menu items!“

“There are several different Hawaiian BBQ , however if you have not ever tried the food at this place you are in huge luck. Prices are more than fair in todays world.

The man at the counter was smiling and very welcoming. It brought me a bit of joy. My food was hot and he even asked if I wanted extra sauce (never heard before) . “We really enjoy the Loft Hawaiian food. They closed the really big nice one in Torrance and now there are multiple small ones with simple decor. The food is still amazing but the atmosphere is a bit less than the big restaurant was. I recommend everything but my favorite dishes are. Lomi Salmon, spam musubi, island style fried chicken, lau law and of course the kalua pork. It seems like everything comes with rice and macaroni salad. 😋 so good. I don't think you can go wrong here everything is delicious.“

“I was craving Spam Masubi so I came here. Unfortunately, the Spam Masubi tasted like it was sitting all day. The Spam was thin, crispy and dry. Not cooked the way I'm used to. I bit into it and it didn't have a fresh taste to it. I also ordered the combination plate with beef short ribs and fried shrimp. The short ribs were on the saltier side, but tender and flavorful. The fried shrimp were cooked too long tasting harder and crunchier than they should have been. The white rice was soft and fresh. The macaroni salad was fresh. The service was great. Server is friendly. The food also came quick. I may come back to give this place a second try in case they were off their game. But $32 for an unpleasant experience was too expensive.“
