Orange Bowl is even better than Ed's Gourmet, and the people are delightful. I want to try some of their other dishes, but keep ordering the spicy teriyaki because it's so good!“

Personally, I recommend the lion king roll as well as the edamame appetizer. “Vpho is a fantastic place to enjoy delicious pho and more! They recently remodeled, and it looks really nice inside—modern and inviting. One thing that sets Vpho apart is that they don't cram their tables together like some other Asian restaurants, so you have plenty of space to relax and enjoy your meal. Plus, there's lots of parking available, which makes getting there easy. The restaurant itself is clean and well-kept, which adds to the pleasant dining experience. I tried the Chicken Wing with mild spicy sauce, and it was surprisingly good—tender and flavorful. The Beef Bone Pho was outstanding; the meat practically fell off the bone, and the soup was warm and yummy—perfect for a chilly day. Although I didn't try it this time, they have a cocktail menu, which sounds intriguing for my next visit. The restroom is nicely remodeled, but it could be cleaner, which is something they might want to improve. Overall, Vpho gets five stars from me for its delicious food, comfortable atmosphere, and great service. It's definitely a place I'll be returning to!“

“This is the first restaurant I saw in Bay that provides such nice packaging for the takeout orders. It doesn't only keep the dishes hot but also shows how the owners go an extra mile in respect and care for the customers. “The service is outstanding, the broth is.. understated (don't drown the meat in a separate flavor), and the sauces/accessory items are god-tier. I've never even had soft serve ice cream this good. Not a single ice crystal in the ice cream!

Get the Sukiyaki broth. Spicy miso would seem like the most flavorful, but our group agreed Sukiyaki is better. Want spicy? Grab the infinite Thai chilis at the bar and add to the soup.

Also ponzu-garlic-onion is the best sauce. Fight me! Raw egg (pasteurized) is crazy good too if the flavors get too overwhelming.

I didn't even talk about the meats! Yeah wagyu is great, oyster is great, crab is meh, shrimp (sashimi and platter) is whoah, abalone isn't my thing (it's just all natural fish cake?). Bone marrow was surprisingly not my favorite for a first time experience.

“This is the best pan-fried soup dumpling I’ve had in the Bay Area. The xiao long bao have thicker skins, and while I personally prefer the thinner ones from Din Tai Fung, these still have plenty of soup and aren’t bad. The dumplings, mushroom pork buns, chicken pan-fried dumplings, and spicy beef hotpot were all solid and tasty, though not particularly outstanding. The scallion bun is packed with scallions, making it a must-try for scallion lovers. Overall, the food was delicious, and I’ll definitely visit again.“

“We came here during the 4th July week and it was really nice to try a Vietnamese French place after a long time. The service was great. It was not busy given that this was a long weekend and most people were probably out of town. The ambience was nice - contemporary and neat.

I ordered their soup special which was Butternut Squash (for $15 it was very expensive according to me). We also got the sea bass and salmon that came with a lot of vegetables which was great. The sea bass was very well cooked with the right flavors and presentation was great. The herb crusted salmon was overcooked a bit and it lost its tenderness. It was presented well, came with mashed potatoes and veggies. We didn’t order any drinks this time but happy to come back again and enjoy some French wines.“

“Tried something entirely new eating at Urban Momo last week and it was incredible. I had the Gobi Manchurian, my partner had a curry, and we split a mixed fried rice and naan. Everything was flavorful, spiced (not spicy), fresh, and really delicious. Add great service and a cool location in San Mateo Market and this place is worth a trip. “My daughter and I absolutely love the Restaurant .we visit every week, and it’s become our favorite spot for delicious meals. The moment we walk in, we’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere, but it’s the food that keeps us coming back.

Every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. My daughter’s favorite is the Eggplant Fish dish, and I always look forward to the it. After seeing an Instagram post about it I had to come and try the tom yum wings. Never had tom yum flavor wings before and it was interesting. The wings were thick and seasoned just right. As soon as I dipped into the sauce I knew it was about to be on. I got a combo plate too which I believe was $14 but upgrading to garlic noodles +3 and extra for the eggroll it came to about $20. The combo was good, came with a salad too. Next time I’ll try the fried rice. This location was nice and clean and the service was fast. She kept updating me on when my order would be done.“

Very flavorful and cooked perfectly.The shrimp balls were tender inside and crispy outside. I like that they have water chestnuts for some extra texture. The sesame chicken was quite sweet! Tender meat. Tasted like an elevated orange chicken. I would order it again.My only complaint is the takeout packaging. It was very soggy and not sturdy. It doesn't seem to hold up with the food condensation. The boxes were falling apart at the edges from the heat.“

Additionally, we ordered the Hainan chicken rice, a dish where the quality of the rice is crucial. While it was satisfactory, it didn't quite meet the standard of what I had previously tasted in LA. Another noodle dish we tried was also quite good.
