“Ordered take out and was pleasantly surprised at the meal. Good quantity of food. Had good flavor. Will try it again. The interior is a bit shabby in a very nondescript old strip mall with no character. Most would drive by and never know its there.“

“This is the best Chinese we’ve had in the South Bay ever! Amazingly friendly service, delicious kim chi to start. Plus tea! Orders wonderful egg rolls for appetizers. Then had honey walnut prawns and prawns with cashews. Both were incredible. Very generous portions. We’ll definitely be back!!! 💝😋“

“The best service I've ever had or seen at a panda express! I didn't get his name, but he was a tall Asian gentleman, he was so friendly and accommodating even though we came near closing time! I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture before I started eating. 10/10 would panda again!“

“Just had a dish of soybean seedling and it was surprisingly good! They had a perfect little crunch on the outside but stayed tender inside. The seasoning was spot-on—a nice savory, garlicky flavor with a hint of spice. It's a great simple side dish, super healthy-tasting, and feels light even when ate lots meats.“

“Have lunch with a friend at this restaurant based on a recommendation. The portions of the food are quite good but there is no Wow factor in the taste. Also, note that the mild spicy level of the food may still be a bit too strong for those who are not used to having spicy food. However, as the price of the food is reasonable, this restaurant is definitely worth coming again to explore the other dishes on its menu.“

“Absolutely love this Sichuan restaurant! Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The Guoba Sanxian (Crispy Rice with Seafood) was amazing — you can even choose the non-spicy version, which is great for people who don’t eat too much spice.
The Stir-Fried Pork Kidney was super fresh and flavorful — tender, a little spicy, and full of that signature Sichuan aroma. And the Spicy Bullfrog Pot was a must-try! So juicy, rich, and addictive that we couldn’t stop eating.
If you love authentic Sichuan food, this place is definitely worth a visit. Great taste, generous portions, and friendly service — 10/10 recommended!“

“The food here is amazing! All the ingredients are super fresh, and you can tell they really care about quality. The spicy and sour soup base is so flavorful and perfectly balanced — tangy, spicy, and comforting. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend!“

“Feels like home!
We ordered
- dan dan noodle
- the egg fried toona sinensis
- stir fried shradde cabbage
- seasoned beef shank
- pork spareribs with house special sauce
We really like the Dan Dan noodle, cabbage and egg fried; the appetizer beef shank and spareribs taste good too they rank below the other three 😘“
“Great spot for Chinese food in downtown San Jose. I've been to their Fremont location a few times, but I think this location is a bit better since the portions are bigger, and the food is a lot less oily. My personal go-to dish is the beef wrap and mapo tofu, both of which have been fresh, flavourful, and generously portioned everytime I've been here. Staff are polite and service is pretty quick. The restaurant itself is clean and can get pretty crowded during lunchtime. Overall, definitely worth going to this place.“

“Buns we're pretty good and really affordable. My big complaint is that the bus cart they push around every 5 minutes sounds like nails on a chalk board. Makes my skin crawl its so loud. You guys should get a can of WD-40 and lube the wheels on it.“

“This has become my favourite place for noodles and dumplings! Their noodle quality is fantastic - very much like hand-pulled noodles, they have that beautiful lightly chewy texture and the flavour of their sauces are good too.
Xiaolongbao are good quality as are the wonton in chili oil, but my favourite is the beef noodles, they make the best lunch or dinner.
Prices are great for the quality you get - if you're hungry, check the portion sizes because they're on the smaller end compared to what you might expect from westernised places, but for me this makes it super easy to have a few dishes to try at a time!
I will be a regular here 😁“

“My husband & I enjoyed a wonderful dinner there tonight. We used to go to another Chinese restaurant that closed, this one Yummy Kitchen is our go to now, the food was great, generous portions, healthy, not greasy, the garlic sauce for dipping was amazing. If I could give more than five stars I definitely would, the service was outstanding, the owner made you feel very welcomed, a great family owned restaurant. Definitely will be back.“

“A good Chinese restaurant with above average food. We tried the cabbage and pork boiled dumplings, the steamed pork soup dumplings, and the pan fried pork soup dumplings. The pan fried soup dumplings were the best – good flavor, crispy bottoms, and juicy soup inside. The boiled dumplings were only okay. I thought the pork filling for the boiled dumplings was a bit musky, and I found a piece of gristle in one dumpling. The steamed pork soup dumplings could have used more soup but were otherwise fine. We also ordered a side of cucumber salad, which was decent overall but a bit salty and garlicky. The service was brisk and professional. They brought us rice for no extra charge – a nice touch. We thought the atmosphere was pleasant overall, with warm lights and plants.“
“Stopped by Hunan Szechuan Cuisine recently and had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and had that perfect Szechuan “ma-la” kick without being overwhelming. Portions were generous, everything came out hot, and the service was friendly and attentive. If you like bold, spicy Chinese dishes, this place is absolutely worth a visit—I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.“

“Food here at Lee’s Kitchen is fresh, plentiful, and served piping hot. We have been here twice in a year and so far the food hasn’t disappointed. The staff are friendly. The dine in experience could use an update as there are faded pictures of the played food on the wall“

“I’ve been CEO noodles since its grand opening. Already ordered multiple time for my family and friends. Highly recommend the takeout foods in canned containers if you want to save up for one week in fridge, ask the staff for the canned items, they even give you discount for order over $300. My friends all love the beautiful glass bottles from 8oz to 16oz, especially the veggie appetizer paired with rice, noodle or even salad.“

“Food was tasty enough and the lunch special was decent, but it shouldn’t take more than a half an hour to get your food for one when there are only three tables after the lunch rush is already over. I will go back and try again because of the quality and affordable prices, but hopefully it doesn’t take so long next time.“

“The soap was very tasty, it had a lot of flavor and wasn't too salty. The noodles were great as well, they were long and chewy. There was also a good amount of meat and vegs as well. One bowl of soap coated me around 20 dollars before tip and they only took cash.“

“Price is $15.99/lb with the many options for the broth. Malatang has gotten very popular recently and feels similar to hot pot. You get a decent amount of food if you only eat 1 lb of food.
The space in the restaurant is on the smaller side, but the wait time is short. You grab a bowl and go down the line while picking up the ingredients you want into your bowl. At the end, the cashier weighs the bowl to determine how much to pay.
Wait time for them to cook the food and bring it out to you is very quick, which helps bring down the wait time. I enjoyed the beef broth but spice level was high for me personally at the mild level.“

“We love how fresh these buns are manually made. They are delicious with a few different interesting flavors. The spicy mince pork and tofu buns are our favorite. It still tastes good the day after. It may seem pricy, but the portion of each order is large, so it's totally worth the money. Only gets 4 stars from me because the frozen wonton have so little meat. They tasted great though, but not much filling at all. Generally, we're happy with the food and the super fast service. Definitely come back for more bao buns, but probably not the wonton.“

“We got the nanjing roasted duck and beef noodle soup here, and they were both very delicious! I would definitely come back here again. The roast duck was cut well, and its skin was very crispy. The sauce was special and complemented the duck well. I can see why this was highly recommended here. As for the beef noodle soup, it was on the sweeter side, and the beef tasted like it was red braised. If we get the same next time, we definitely need to get some plain rice to balance the saltiness and sweetness.“

“We came to Ping’s Bistro for a weekend lunch and were completely blown away by the vibrant flavors, beautiful presentation, and high-quality ingredients. The restaurant offers authentic Yunnan and Dai-style Chinese cuisine — dishes that are aromatic, balanced, and full of depth without being overly heavy.
We ordered a mix of dishes to share:
• Dai Style Deep-Fried Pork Ribs – Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, perfectly seasoned with a hint of lemongrass. The dipping sauce was tangy and refreshing, cutting through the richness of the pork. A must-order appetizer!
• Fried Rice with Boletus, Green Pepper & Beef – One of the best fried rice dishes we’ve ever had. Each grain was infused with wok hei and balanced beautifully with earthy mushrooms and mild heat from green peppers.
• Stir-Fried Chayote Leaves with Dried Chili Peppers – Fresh, tender greens stir-fried to perfection with garlic and dried chili. Simple, clean, and full of natural flavor.
• Signature Grilled Fish with Lemongrass – The star of the meal. The fish was grilled to a beautiful char and topped with fragrant herbs, garlic, lime, and chili. The lemongrass aroma elevated the dish to another level — spicy, citrusy, and deeply satisfying.
• Sautéed Black Termite Mushroom, Maitake, Cordyceps Flower Velvet – A rare treat! The mix of mushrooms gave layers of texture — chewy, soft, and crisp — with an earthy umami flavor.
• Country-Style Sautéed Pork with Eggs and Black Fungus – Homestyle comfort at its best. The soft eggs and wood ear mushrooms soaked up the sauce beautifully, creating a rich, balanced bite every time.
• Sautéed Beef with Pickled Mustard – Tender beef slices paired with tangy mustard greens and red peppers — a bold yet harmonious flavor combination.
Every dish came out piping hot, beautifully plated, and perfectly portioned for sharing. The flavors were authentic, and the seasoning was carefully balanced — not too oily or salty.
The restaurant’s atmosphere is calm and modern, with large windows that bring in plenty of natural light. Service was attentive and efficient; our server helped us select dishes according to our spice preference (“less spicy”) and ensured we had a smooth dining experience.
For anyone who loves discovering regional Chinese cuisines beyond the usual Cantonese or Sichuan offerings, Ping’s Bistro is a must-visit. It’s perfect for group dining or a casual yet refined family meal.
- Favorite dishes: Dai-style pork ribs, grilled lemongrass fish, boletus beef fried rice.
- Spice level: Adjustable – just ask for “less spicy” if you prefer mild.
- Portion: Generous and great for sharing.
Highly recommended — this place deserves way more attention in Cupertino’s dining scene!“

“Great shanghainese place. Get the pan fried pork buns 5/5 and the xiao long bao soup dumplings 5/5. The place is small so expect to wait a few minutes during lunch. If you are looking for dumplings and in Mountain View this is the place to try.“

“3.5/5.
Average neighborhood Mongolian grill. If you want Mongolian grill food it would work for you. If you have shellfish allergies, or maybe any food allergy, I would avoid this place. They cook by dragging the food around the grill once per person instead of a space they clean like the larger grills will do. They just place the next bowl immediately after and drag it around across the previous persons stuff. I was eating shrimp and I eat spicy, so for me it wasn't an issue. Sucks for the person following me, and sucked for my son (9) as he followed a spice lover and his dish ended up too spicy for him to enjoy. He was pretty disappointed.“

“Favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Bay Area! Great food, great service and cool place. Ordering food thru phone is easy, but you can wave them down easily if you need to modify. We always order the spicy fish fillet, sautéed green beans and another meat dish. Try to come with a bigger group so you can try more dishes. Also love that they give kids plastic cups and utensils. Always busy during lunch and dinner rush for a reason, but they move quick.“

“This is a solid dim sum place with good food overall. Prices were fair, except for the pan fried bao with translucent skins, which were way overpriced. We enjoyed the shrimp chang fen and the Chinese broccoli. The har gow had nice chewy skins, but the filling inside was only so-so. I was not a huge fan of the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves because the filling was made with ground meat instead of whole pieces. The staff were efficient and friendly. We enjoyed choosing our food from the roving dim sum carts. I ordered shou mei tea, which tasted fine.“
