“Our church, Triedstone MBC, just hosted a luncheon for our leadership team. It was catered by Darrow’s New Orleans Grill. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious. And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “Locals hangout. Locals often avoid the touristy trendy restaurants, buit love to meet and hang out at this super fun dive bar. Recommended by a local.

The food (burger, chips & beer) was good. A nice selection of beers on tap and by the bottle. Watch sports, play pool/billiards, hang out with friends, have a PTA meeting,etc.

As we were leaving, the local ladies, all meeting together Sunday night, were super friendly and waved hello/goodbye. Fun place.“

However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. “Lovely experience here, both the little grocer and bar/restaurant side were delightful with a warm atmosphere. All the staff members were friendly and informative on the menu. “An unexpected escape to a comfortable listening lounge. It’s an intimate space—with a mix of bench seating along the walls and tables and chairs in the middle.

Performers we’ve seen here have been top-notch. Seeing a nine piece jazz band was a highlight!

“This place is amazing. The decor, the lighting, the ambiance, it's perfect. The bartenders are great and the drinks are incredible. Do you want an actually good dirty Martini? They have one on the menu! The margaritas and (true) classic cocktails are great too. The music is top notch too with an in-house DJ on the days I've been there, but I will say it's too way too loud on the lounge side of the bar. The dance floor is small but poppin, but the lounge side is a bunch of people leaning too far forward in their chairs and attempting to scream at each other over the music. We left with sore throats just having normal conversation, lol. That's the only point to dock, please mildly adjust the sound system on the one side of the house.“

Starting with the welcoming staff at the entrance. John, your hospitality is the beginning of the joyful experience. The restaurant is so elegant. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings with wood beams. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. “Every time I’ve been at Black bar a very enjoyable experience, it has a wonderful selection of whiskey which I drink. They have wonderful, creative cocktails that I’ve tried and never been disappointed. The pizza is wonderful as well. Please try it. “The atmosphere is popping here! Excellent DJ, very welcoming people, and good vibes. The only downside is that it is a very small place for the number of people that arrive; no dance floor, only one pool table, and hard to order a drink because of the very crowded bar. However, it is a very good spot for the Black community and for anyone, of course. Everyone was so happy to be here. This was my first time visiting, and I am confident I have found a new local to hang out at.“

Loved the outside area—it’s large enough for a good sized group and so lovely being up so high with didn’t views from each side. Definitely check this place out. Valet parking at the Fairmont Hotel as well as metered street parking and if you don’t mind walking a few blocks, you might find a free parking spot.“

“Love neighborhood bars, and this one was no exception. I did not rate the food because we didn’t eat and I’m not sure if they have food or not. The drinks were great, the bar is lively and there was a DJ. Super fun vibes and great crowd. Reminds me of the pre Covid days. Everyone was friendly and talkative, buying drinks for each other with no drama. I went here on a whim with my friend after the Beyond the Grave pop up bar. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but places like this are my favorite. I will definitely be back! The bartender made a perfect Midori sour, which is actually one of those cocktails that seems easy to make, but can be easily unbalanced. Definitely some pool sharks which made for a good viewing“

“This place is really growing. I went to their opening and since then started going to the weekly trivia events. It’s a really fun brewery atmosphere, lowkey local and good beer on tap. On the Tuesday trivia nights they have a food truck come. Definitely a great addition to the downtown San Pedro area.“

“Drinks are good and vibes are good. Gets packed on Fridays and Saturdays but still is a good bar for the area. Tee is a great bartender, very friendly and she makes good drinks and nice to talk to. The one thing I don’t like about this bar is that despite its cool heavy metal, goth Game of Thrones-esque design, there is not enough heavy metal playing. Still, pretty cool bar but please play more metal or at least classic Rock.“

“We stopped by on Friday at 3:30/4 with a group of about 15 to enjoy a bite to eat and social hour after work and even tho it said they opened at 2, they were closed so we left and went to Ave Italy…“

“Enjoyable atmosphere, tasty pizza and friendly staff. A little concerned over consistency in the kitchen, however. A few weeks ago I ordered a Caesar salad and was blown away by the quality, especially the dressing.

Ordered the same salad on my next visit and it was awful. By the time I got to the bottom of the bowl the lettuce left behind was soaking in a soupy nearly flavorless dressing that did not come close to what I experienced the first time. Probably gonna stick to the slices here for food.“

“Just went to blondies yesterday! Saturday night around 9:30 pm. It's a nice bar! More standing space than seating. There is outside seating but it was taken up when we arrived there and it didn't seem to free up by the time we left.Age range is millennials, maybe some college students.Music is a bit loud if you are trying to have a conversation, but overall its fun! They got games playing and I think you can have lil birthday gatherings there? There was a small birthday hang out when we were there which was really cute.Overall, good bar, would come back.“
