“Our church, Triedstone MBC, just hosted a luncheon for our leadership team. It was catered by Darrow’s New Orleans Grill. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious. And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. “Sam First is second to none! What a great venue. I honestly thought it was going to be a weird venue given its proximity to LAX but I was happily surprised at this chic and great-sounding jazz venue.

I saw a cool man order tea and a cookie so I ordered tea and the bar accidentally brought cookies with my tea. That’s a mistake I can improvise off of.

They have wonderful, creative cocktails that I’ve tried and never been disappointed. The pizza is wonderful as well. Please try it. “Drinks are good and vibes are good. Gets packed on Fridays and Saturdays but still is a good bar for the area. Tee is a great bartender, very friendly and she makes good drinks and nice to talk to. The one thing I don’t like about this bar is that despite its cool heavy metal, goth Game of Thrones-esque design, there is not enough heavy metal playing. Still, pretty cool bar but please play more metal or at least classic Rock.“
