“Chili's food is good. It's not excellent, but it's good. The service is okay. The waitresses are friendly and nice. But they don't come back often enough to the table. They forget things you said that you want it the atmosphere. Last year was better than this year. There's young people that come into the bar now.And it's just so ratcheting sometimes ghetto.Even the workers over in the bar area, they curse not being aware where they are. They think they're at their house and they're in a public place so they don't watch their language“
“There's definitely a reason this place keeps coming up everywhere as number ones bartenders are nice with a touch of sass like you'd like at a dive bar, but it's elevated. The prices are pretty pricey, but for the love ingredients and originality of the cocktails I guess it's alright, but I'm not staying for more than two lol. We ordered 4 cocktails and two mocktails and it was about $100 so time to go home lol. They have yummy little snacks and overall we were happy with this new Long Beach spot.“
“Perfect dive bar. This is a quintessential dive bar. They have cheap drinks and food. Their food (super limited) is great for what you want from a dive bar; pickled eggs, pretzel sticks, sausage (beef hotdog) sandwich. Highly recommended for a bar!“
“It’s a worthy dive bar with a frigging delicious hamburger. We went for the atmosphere having walked by on our vacation to Manhattan Beach and had to go back. If you love an authentic old bar and are happy with a great cheeseburger and chips and can overlook a sticky table and a bit scary bathroom situation, this is your spot. A breath of fresh air from our usual bougie eating in South Bay. Did I mention the burger was delicious??“
“Excellent Colombian brunch. The pork belly was crispy and well seasoned with just the right amount of fat. The selva steak and eggs plate was a great sampler of many of their dishes. The service is great and friendly. I had the carajillo coffee cocktail with brandy, which was good, but not my favorite. My other friends loved it though. Definitely recommend this place and will come again!“
“Awesome place. We had a Ies meeting there in private dining and the food rocked and so did the service. The cheese cake was to die forvand they bring a giant piece in it's own whole cheese cake . Yum . I had brisket was so yummy . In this inflation prices were decent for amount of food. I had never been there before. But I hear it's well know and established for a long time. If yiu are looking for a place and never been there before yiu have to goParking was easy and plenty of it when I went“
“AMAZING FOOD! Love that it is non alcoholic as it definitely invites a positive crowd. Very lowkey neighborhood as well. Service was quick and snappy. My friend did not like her original order but they exchanged it for something else on the menu with no issues. Will be returning often as a resident of signal hill“
“I grew up in Long Beach so I know how hard it is to own & run a small business in our community, Chuckie Miller has provided a quaint n chill environment to enjoy a drink ? and enjoy a night out Where you can enjoy some music ? a great environment and they've also got some great food ? Damn Dizzle is whipping up some treats all can enjoy wether outback or at yhe LongBeachUnifried food truck!!! Been a few times and I'd recommend this spot to any and all that want to have a good time!! Bartender serves great drinks and staff is friendly as well!!Wheelchair accessibility: I'm in a chair & can't always get in or around places but This spots defined wheelchair friendly & accessible!!!“
“We happened to stumble upon The Ordinarie Tavern in Long Beach and we’re glad we did! The service was first rate and the food was really good! I highly recommend the chicken pot pie bites as an appetizer. They were fantastic. We also tried the half chicken entree and the short rib French dip, both of which were also good. Happy Hour is offered from 3-6pm, with specials on beers, drinks and food.“
“The waitresses were super nice and friendly. There was a little bit of a wait, but it wasn’t very long. I am a pescatarian and I did not realize the clam chowder has bacon in it. So watch out pescatarians. The shrimp and cocktail sauce is amazing though.“
“I am a lover of Italian food! Overall the place was good. Everything seemed fresh and had good flavor. We ordered the burrata appetizer, which was decent. I appreciated that they had 2 types of gluten free pasta. They made the other pastas in house. Worth a try if you are craving Italian food and are in the area.“
“My daughters (4-7) were spellbound by the “inside / outside at the same time” space. And I absolutely loved the plant filled atmosphere. Food was above average too! The one hiccup was that we ordered a flavoured coffee flight & they were all iced! Wife said she knew, but I didn’t catch that they weren’t hot coffee. So people really like cold coffee?? (Wife loved them. I know I’m the weird one.)“
“Fantastic view of the ocean! Belmont Brewing Co is located at the enttance of Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier. I'm not sure if there's free parking in the area, but we parked in the parking lot next to the restaurant which is not free. Had to pay at the kiosk. This place serves american food and alcohol. Came here during lunch time with coworkers. They ordered alcohol and returned to work right after. I ordered the american style kobe burger. It was very delicious but be aware that it's not real kobe beef. Staffs were friendly and had a good meal here. Really nice restaurant by the beach. Would recommend eating here. It might be a little pricey, but you're next to the ocean.“
“Great experience all around. I took my friend from Kansas who is not a huge Mexican food fan. I told her to come to Palmilla and give it a try. We had the caesar salad (I loved the capers in it) Ceviche trio, and the carnitas. The food was so good, not greasy like a lot of Mexican food and deliciously elevated. The Serrano cilantro margarita was amazing too. Service was friendly and prompt. Thank you“
“Great local place that has a cute store next door with a variety of beer/wine choices and some upscale snacks.Food, drinks and vibe of the bar are always amazing. Every one always seems to be having a good time whenever I’m there. The staff is super nice and helpful with any questions I have had.“
“Always consistently good food. Had the salmon and salad with brussel sprouts, and my friend had the grilled chicken sandwich. Seasoning was robust, but not too salty. Waitress was friendly, introduced herself, and had no problem with request for two checks for the table.“
“My wife and I come to this location often. We come to this location specifically because the staff are so caring, nice and the service is outstanding! Our favorite waitress is a young lady named Jocelyn My 6 yr old granddaughter loves her and loves coming here. Jocelyn always makes sure she makes herself available to take a picture with our granddaughter everytime we go. All of the staff are very nice and that all starts at the top. The management/owners are very attentive and hardworking. This El torito location should be the example of excellence to all the other El toritos in the southbay. Keep up the good work guys and gals!!- Happy Customer 2024“
“The food here is really great, and they have a good selection of Wine, Beer, and Cider. The burgers are really good and a nice variety. I love getting the chips instead of the fries, trust me on this they are sooo good. The patio is so nice because you can sit outside and enjoy yourselves, and there's lots of space so it's a great place for groups. Parking is also easy in Downtown El Segundo, and the service here has always been top notch and very friendly,in true El Segundo fashion!“
“Bartenders are always great. Seen plenty of bands play here, the back room for that is perfect for the sounds to bounce all over without any 'bar noise' nuisance you'd get at a local bar show. There's a big back patio area and at one point in some summertime ago, they served food out there. Front bar section has a Photo Booth, a small section of records to shop and foosball to play, and several booths to sit at, perfect to wait out a band you are waiting to finish before the next band plays. It's not a bad venue to play at, low key vibe and supportive for touring bands. Sound person always seems to be adaptable and you can ask bartender for ear plugs too“
“Great food, great atmosphere, great service! It is the "Cheers" of the South Bay!Definitely need to go by, have dinner and drinks! It also has an amazing Chocolate Stout which is out of this world! Don't miss out on the experience where everyone will know your name!“
“Eating here was one of the highlights of the Trip! Gorgeous decor and well dressed serving people who were so friendly and fast ! Very authentic Mexican cuisine awaits you. We were pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced the meals were ! We drove from Los Angeles to the restaurant and it was well worth the trip with the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean along the way. We were so glad to eat here.Parking: A safe , large paved parking lot free for customersKid-friendliness: Lots to eat here for children and service is so fast they will not get restless.“
“Food is consistent 90% of the time in all their locations.Nice ambiance and high ceiling. Can get a little noisy in here.I suggest doing the bomba style when ordering their pizza.I suggest ordering a plate in every category in the menu which you can share in a group of four or five people.I highly recommend reminding your server to serve any bread first. On my last visit it was served last and we were almost full with our first four plates.Plenty of parking spaces, availability is scarce.“
“Waitress service was not that greatI ordered filet mignon yet when it came to the table it looked like a piece of steak it was very tasty though I did not complain because I was there with my daughter and her food was already there so I just ate what I had I ate what they gave me shall I say“
“I had an amazing experience at Yard House! The food was delicious, and the portions were huge - great value for money. The service was exceptional, and our blonde waitress was the absolute 'bizz' - attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. I was impressed by the variety on the menu and the quality of the dishes. If you're looking for a fantastic meal with excellent service, Yard House is the place to go. Highly recommended!“
“Nice local place good food and drinks at a reasonable price. Great place to watch the games. The staff is very friendly. I had the Barbacoa Quesadilla that was very good. They have a private room for parties of business you can book. Great place to hangout and meet the locals.“
“This club is amazing. It’s like being in your friends living room, or at a friends private party. The customers are real jazz aficionados, which makes for a very cool vibe. The service is laid-back so if you’re a New Yorker, you might be a little put off by the lack of hustle. But nonetheless, they are very attentive and friendly. It’s a great club. If you’re ever in LA I highly recommend going to this club if you love jazz. Hidden gem!“
“I LOVE this place! The food is always amazing whether dine in or take out, I'm salivating. The servers are so kind and do their job well. And the VIBES! that place is so cute they either have live music or some good jams playing in the resturant. I take everyone I know here. Can't wait for my next visit ?“
“I'd eat the chicken tenders everyday if I lived here, they're like nothing I've ever had. Absolutely get a basket of these if you're here. The server Dragon (yes that's his name) is the best server I think ive had. He has an amazing personality. Being a 49ers fan helped too. Lol.“
“I was there right when it opened and had the best experience, everything was perfect and definitely will be going again. For the first time everything about a place complimented everything the staff were super helpful, the food was amazing, the drinks were nice and cheap, and the atmosphere was phenomenal.“
“Atmosphere and service here are fantastic! One of the best places in LA. However, the salsa here is absolutely ATROCIOUS. Burnt rubber that was kicked on the street. I am so sorry this place is fantastic but avoid the red salsa at all costs.“
“We always have a blast at Los Compadres. They have a lot of Wow Factor menu items, combined with great bar, but also Family atmosphere. They do a special song if you tell them about someone in your party's birthday. The waiters and bartenders are the BEST. In the bar area, you can watch Sports and sit at the bar or in a comfortable booth. #AllTheBellsAndWhistles, plus exquisite Food, too...Vegetarian options: Mostly I just get their awesome Cheese enchiladas, I know they have fantastic Burritos without meat or chicken. Not sure about some dishes, but the wait staff are experts at their menu, and can answer your questions...Dietary restrictions: I think they would accommodate special requests, with a smile...Kid-friendliness: Super kid and whole family friendly...Wheelchair accessibility: Seems very wheelchair friendly...“
“Had a great experience. The hostess Gi Gi mad us feel very welcome and was the main reason we decided to give it a try. She was very confident about the menu and we ended up staying for a few hours. Good food, cocktails and overall vibe were perfect.“
“We love this place. My wife and i have been here a couple of times and have brought our daughter.Friendly service , really good food. Staff is amazing. Drinks are really good. And its owned by Christopher Reece of Social D. Awesome personality and cares about his customers. They get good bands to play live. Fish and chips are a staple.Very clean. We love it here.Kid-friendliness: Kids and teens are welcomed. Pet friendly.“
“First time trying this place, and all I can say is that the breakfast here exceeds my expectations! Although waiting time after we had ordered was kind of long but it's worth it! Parking wasn't easy. You will need to park at the residential curbside.“
“The Corner Bar is a local gem that captures the essence of inclusivity, as there is something here for everyone. With its welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and affordable drinks, it's the perfect spot to unwind after a long day or catch up with friends over a cold beer or a cocktail. They also have a DJ on the weekends for those seeking a party-like atmosphere. All in all, it is a great bar, and if you're in town, highly recommended visiting!“
“I didn't have any expectations going here, but they were all quickly exceeded! I loved how there were several different stands to get food from, including a dedicated bar area (I hate it when you have to order food at the bar). The food was all really fairly priced and so good! It paired well with the beer flight my partner and I got. There are many unique beers to have, and the bartender who served us was super cool and friendly.I definitely want to come back again! It was a vibe!“
“I can't believe I haven't written a review here yet! (Thought I did!) Anyway, first came here last year for my sister's friend/band member's birthday party! (Jordan) And some of his art work was displayed for sale. It was pretty fun! The DJ booth looks cool! The giant screen allowed them to play their new music video for their band called Wamdingis! (Check them out!) That night was lit! Thank you to the bar tenders & chef! The fried cheese curds were unforgettable! Came back here another time with a girlfriend because she was sad about her guy. Anyway, we ordered the tater tots (yummy!) & some seltzer drinks. I sang a song for Karaoke night on Sunday. We also ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and added bacon! Omg! So glad we split it! That was too good! Then we bar hopped a little before going home. Tonight, I was supposed to help my sister's band with merch at the Santa Ana art walk but they finished before I got there so I turned around and went home and Lyfted here. Ordered the garlic lemon pepper wings & cheese curds! Mmmm! So good! Highly recommended! The kitchen is open until 1 or 2am! Woohoo! So this is def a 2-in-1 spot! Parking sucks on the streets so just Lyft here! Maybe I'll see you guys around!“
“We lucked out and came on the last Saturday of the month when the dueling pianos duke it out vocally and musically and they delivered for us and our kids. They played crowd favorites and kid favorites. Not a lot of places you can hear Sweet Caroline followed by Peaches from Super Mario Brothers. The service was great too. They accommodated cocktails and charcuterie for the the adults and milk and cookies for the kids with ease.“
“Had a great time at Primo! I booked a day-of reservation for a large party for a family dinner and they seated us in the private dining room. The restaurant interior was very nice and the food was fantastic. Service was very good and we overall had an amazing experience!“
“Ricardo!!! Amazzzing server!! Thank you for making our Easter Brunch the best day everrrrr!! It’s a must do if you’re in Cali!! Thank you again Ricardo!! Redondo beach has the best views and the omelette bar is everything ❤️❤️❤️“
“Easily one of the best experiences in a long time. We live in the area and have wanted to try this place for a long time. Josh as a host was incredible from the moment we walked in the door. He was so friendly and made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time. Ricardo was our server and we found he had been there fore 23 years. He was so nice and kind. The food is incredible. We had the shrimp cocktail to start, which was great. Then we ordered the famous burger and the prime rib. Both were amazing. We also had the bread pudding for dessert. Everything was so great, and all of the other tables were filled with what felt like regulars. Don't let the outside turn you off. Once you enter, you'll be treated to a great evening.“
“Gay women goes to gay man’s bar, so take it with a grain of salt. My own fault for wasting a buck in the jukebox while music videos were playing, assumed it would override. Bartender super cool and nice, watched him cut someone off and give them water. I don’t think they have food, not certain. Low key in the day, not sure what night crowd is like.“
“This is my neighborhood bar. I could literally walk here. So I come quite often. Happy Hour is pretty good. Unfortunately, they don't have a kitchen onsite but you can bring your own food or order and have it delivered; which is pretty cool. They also have free pool tables and a juke box for your listening pleasure. My only gripe is there is one bar tender (shorter guy, with longer brown/black hair, and mustache) who has a bad attitude which can ruin your mood. Especially since he is providing a service and customer service is important. I usually don't stay long when he is working.“
“awesome bar!!! me and my friends went in and ordered some cosmos and sat and drank and listened to heavy metal/hard rock. the drinks were so good and the bartender was so sweet! i love the restrooms they have a castle vibe to them. the booths are intimate and close, the lighting was perfect, not overstimulating. attracts the right people for sure. i love that the doors are closed and you cant see in. the martini glass neon sign outside is soooo cute!!! will be coming back for sure“
“This place is awesome! Affordable drinks, great vibes and on weekend nights this is the place to be! They don't serve food but we decided to bring our own take out and had no problems for that. Tip: Best place to watch Sunday Football!!“
“I've been here a bunch, just realized I've still never written them a review, so fixing that finally. They are definitely a "neighborhood bar" first, cocktail bar second - it's a great chill vibe, the sort of place that's never too busy (at least when I've been there) and where the music is never too loud to be able to talk. Their bartenders are all great, and they have quality spirits and reasonably priced drinks. And they do *have* a cocktail list - but compared to, for instance, Wicked Wolf nearby, for similar prices, cocktails that aren't quite as complex or as exciting, necessarily, but they have all been great cocktails. I also particularly like that they have, at least at the moment, Buffalo Trace on hand, so I can put that in any whiskey cocktail for about the same price. On their current menu, I particularly liked the "Cameoi" (bourbon, basil, lemon, blueberry, hibiscus cider) and the "Conquistador" (corn vodka, frangelico, romepope custard liqueur - as-is, it's basically a drinkable dessert, which is great if you're looking for dessert, but it's also an easy drink to swap different spirits in - I've also tried off-menu versions with mezcal and with Buffalo Trace that were also great.) I have only actually gotten food here once, and it was a couple years ago - their flatbread was nothing I'd go out of my way for specifically, but it's definitely also something I'd be happy to order if I were hungry and I was here. That said, the *real* draw that keeps getting me to stop in here, is the live jazz they have every Saturday at 8 PM. The jazz trio that plays here is fantastic, so whenever I'm out that direction on Saturday in the evening (most likely because something's going on at Wicked Wolf), I also try to arrange to pop in here during the live jazz. Cocktails go great with live jazz, and they're a super talented jazz trio. (But it wouldn't be such a draw if they didn't *also* make great cocktails.)“
“Maybe Valentine's Day dinner is not the best time to write a review but... Food: Main courses were 50/50 - mussels were fresh and yummy; the coq au vin chicken was dry and a tad over cooked but the vin sauce was tasty. The deviled eggs appetizer was disappointing as it tasted like it was made the day before. Service was solid and attentive. The interior needs some sound dampening as the main dining area is way too loud. You have to almost yell to carry on a conversation because everyone is doing the same.“
“I want to give a full overview of the Nile Bar. I’ve been on multiple occasions- weekends and weeknights alike so I feel I have a good gage.Theres a lot of great things such as the huge TV’s, huge bar seating, live DJ/Bands and themed nights. It’s definitely more of a local bar feel because it’s a very clicky place. Meaning people just talk amongst the group of friends they came with- it’s not very social if you come alone and want to meet new people.Overall, service is not bad but it’s not good. You will wait much longer than expected. This is if the bar is full or just 1 to 5 people inside. Experienced both.Drinks are good and strong- price varies as they do have happy hour, but I usually pay closer to 17 bucks for one drink after happy hour.Had the sliders which were excellent but the wings were cooked very hard and they were not good. Now this part can be superficial, but this is for the fellas. The woman are on the larger/older side. This place doesn’t attract younger, smaller sized women. I’m not saying the women aren’t pretty, but if you also want someone in shape I would say this is not the place. And for the women… there’s a selection of men who come in solo to “watch the game” but besides small talk and a drink being bought for a very select few- I don’t really see you meeting anyone here. Just not set up for that vibe in my opinion. Stick to your gworls. But with all that being said, something about the Nile Bar really works. You just want to always come back because it does feel great. Idk what it is, but it’s a special feeling this place has that just pulls you back in for another game, another bite, or another drink.I give this place 4 stars overall!“
“Had a fantastic time at Coyote Cantina! The drinks were just perfect - strong and delicious. The Steak Tidbits and Blackened Chicken Enchiladas were both standout dishes. Plus, Carl, the owner, was incredibly welcoming, making the whole experience even more special. A cozy spot I'd recommend to “
“The shrimp Po’Boys here are absolutely AMAZING! As well as the Jambalaya and tater salad. My wife and I just found this restaurant today and stopped in for a quick bite. We are both born and raised in New Orleans, so it’s always iffy when getting Louisiana foods in different states, but let me tell you WE WERE BLOWN AWAY at how amazing the food was! Actually we even think it’s better than a lot of places in the actual French quarter! The customer service is unmatched as well, the owner who is also from New Orleans was in and was so very kind, welcoming and really made us feel like family! Which is exactly what he said to us. It’s almost impossible to find anywhere that brings that kind of hospitality to the table, and this place is THE place to go for not only an amazing experience, but beautifully executed and flavorful food as well! Will be back again and again. Thank you Darrow’s New Orleans Grill!“
