“We ordered the hippo bread, cauliflower, ravioli with clams and the hangar steak. All so delicious! The hippo bread is soft and sweet with that butter. The cauliflower is shareable and so good! The ravioli was fine and the hangar steak was slightly sweet and tender. Our waiter, Alejandro, was so attentive and answered all of our questions. He was fabulous! The kitchen is open so you can look and see which is always fun! Love the music, too! We walked past the restaurant but then I remembered it was by the pizza place so we circled back and found it. Can't wait to return!“

“The quality of the food was amazing, it made up for the fact that it was online ordering. We had the little gem Cesar Salad, blistered shishito peppers and the mushroom soy sausage pizza. The cuisine was exquisite and provided an exceptional dining experience, with its rich and delectable flavors tantalizing our palates. We plan to come back again. The service was on point, friendly and accommodating. The inside is small yet very well decorated, the colors vibe with the plate settings. Truly enjoyed the experience.“

“Fantastic and attentive staff. Food is delicious and an upgrade from old 101. I go often and am always looked after. Go once and you will go again. Unfortunately it's so good sometimes it can be a bit crowded. Not a problem, worth a wait and it's usually short. Enjoy“

“We dined at Damian for the second time. Our minds and tastebuds were blown again! Everything was high level, food drink, service, desert, even down to the tiny cookie that came with our espresso. And, the duck carnitas, chefs kiss!“

“The pizza was to die for — we had the margarita pizza — thin crust and sauce delicious. We had the artichoke burrata appetizer which was delicious too. The area where the restaurant is located is very cool. Enjoyable all the way around.“

“The little plates are yummy. I love the pita bread that came with the hummus (Salatim plate). The other plates were good also. I loved the bread pudding (I think it's better than the best cake). What I like the most about Bacari, besides the beautiful ambiance, is the friendliest staff.“

“There wasn't much on the menu that appealed to me, but I got the lomo saltado taco. The meat was the tenderest meat I had ever had in my life. Everything was perfectly seasoned. It was so good I ordered another. So, that was $20. The beer selection is underwhelming. It wasn't a bad time, just not my scene. I'll go back if someone else pays.“

“I’m not one to engage in hyperbole or overstatement, but the dinner we had a Bavel last night was quite possibly the greatest dinner ever served. Seriously, the creativity in the menu was matched only by the flawless execution of the chef and kitchen in the dishes we had. The cocktails are fabulous, the waitstaff delightful, and we eagerly anticipating our next visit. If you have the chance, do NOT miss Bavel DTLA.“

“We loved all the flavors!!! From the Nachos to the Tacos and sides of Beans and Cauliflower, we did not have a bad bite. Unique mix of Indian and Mexican food, there is something for everyone here, spicy or not. The staff was welcoming and service was excellent. This will be a place you treat yourself to as the flavors are craveable, well balanced and very fresh.“

“Very cool brunch concept! I love the decked out motorcycle aesthetics! If you walk to the restroom, they have a really cool motorcycle! Loved the vibes and our waiter was very sweet and patient with handling such a large crowd. Props to him! Food was pricy but I think they had good serving size. For the meat, my suggestion is that you guys should cut it up. But overall I had fun but unsure if I would come again?“

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.“

“Nice interior. Elevated quality. Came here for lunch. There is a special lunch menu for weekdays. The spicy octopus stone pot bibimbap was good, but fairly standard. I’ve heard the beef tartare (yukhoe) bibimbap is good here. Overall, nice meal. A little pricier to match the more upscale interior.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Great White, and what an exceptional experience it was! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality by our server, Mickey, who was an absolute delight. Her friendly and attentive service set the tone for a fantastic lunch. The food was simply outstanding! We ordered the steak and frites, which was cooked to perfection, and the crunchy fish with a side of coleslaw. The fish was crispy and flavorful. Each bite was a delight, and we left feeling satisfied but not stuffed. The ambience of Great White is worth mentioning – it felt like stepping into an ancient tavern, with a cozy and rustic charm that added to the overall experience. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a romantic evening.Overall, I would highly recommend Great White to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. Be sure to ask for Mickey as your server – she's a gem! We can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious dishes.Great job, Great White – you've earned a well-deserved 5 stars from me!“

“This is what spontaneous LA dining is about. Just walked by hungry. Super cute. You can be sat with full service or you can order with a number and find a lil spot to eat with a number. Both ways are full menu. Everything was tasty and out quick.“

“Cara is a very aesthetically pleasing restaurant. The outdoor seating area by the pool is lovely. We were immediately greeted by the wonderful host, Brianna, who was very welcoming and it was apparent she was going out of her way to make sure our birthday dinner was to our liking. She was very caring and offered different options for seating. Our waiter, Danni, was very attentive and the service was outstanding. Overall, the food was great and very appetizing. The only thing I will say is the lemon pasta was different from what I remembered it was, the flavor was good but it was too oily. Other than that, the salmon and truffle fries were delicious. The brownie dessert with vanilla ice cream was delectable as well. Entrees: - Lemon pasta - Pan-roasted salmon with orzo rice (no beans) Sides: - House-made truffle fries Dessert: - Chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream“

“My favorite soondubu place! Korean restaurants don't usually have much vegan banchan but Surawon always has plenty of options, usually at least 4 out of the 6 or so banchan are vegan. My favorites are the firm tofu and seaweed. The mushroom, seaweed, and veggie soondubu, as well as the japchae, bibimbap, and pajeon can all be made vegan, and everything is excellent. Service is quick and friendly!Vegetarian options: Plenty of clearly labeled vegan options on the menu“

“It was even better than I remember. I had the catfish po boy, chicken & waffles. The French bread, remoulade sauce & generous seasoning of the fish were delicious. I would definitely not consider myself a grits fan but the fried cinnamon sugar grits…so good. I can definitely post photos of empty boxes but other than that ??♀️. You’re going to have to order your own. Make sure you order directly on the restaurant site www.gritznwafflez.com. Signed up with my email when I ordered & got a discount.“

“For $6 it's a pretty great price for a Vietnamese Sandwich. The #1 seems to come with everything, but we happened to get the #4 this time. Crisp and flakey on the outside with a soft pillowiness on the inside. The flavors are fresh and the jalapeno just a bit spicy.Service wasn't that fast, but it's worth the short wait. Although the atmosphere is a little rundown, it still feels cozy“

“Corn Man is my go-to spot in LA for satisfying late-night cravings with absolutely delicious corn on the cob. However, the surrounding neighborhood can be a bit sketchy, making it feel unsafe to hang around waiting for your order since there's only one corn man working.Despite encountering a few arguments with random passersby staring at me, the corn here is undeniably tasty and a definite must-try for those late-night munchies.“

“Lovely little hole in the wall in Boyle Heights! Obviously this place is very well known for being some of the oldest and most traditional food in LA and it deserves its local fame. Definitely worth a stop for a home-cooked, cozy meal. Owner was also super cute, she knew many regulars by name and was very kind. Parking was not great, area wasn't that great either but no surprises there.“

“This place used to serve Dalian cuisine, but in the past two years it has changed to Hong Kong dim sum, which is really good. My two daughters love coming here to eat. There are not many dishes, but they are all delicious. Every time, I must order preserved egg and lean meat porridge, chicken feet, sesame balls, fresh meat rice rolls, and barbecued pork rice rolls. It's available for takeout, but it's still fresh and delicious. David is very friendly. It has the fireworks of Guangdong and Hong Kong, as well as American hospitality. I hope to become a long-established store and keep it open.“

“I can't even begin to describe the joy I get when I eat from Ms. Yonette. I ate there before and I had to get it catered for my birthday party. The communication was clear and easy. “For context, my family went here for a Sunday lunch. Menu can be scanned via QR code which is handy. Parking can be tough, that is a big issue we faced when we arrived. We had to park in the side street of LA. About 12-15 tables inside, and more seating outside. Definitely can be packed on some days.Food is 3/5 stars, I highly recommend the coconut adobo, it’s a perfect mixture of adobo and ginataan, never really thought of that combo. Rice comes in 3 scoops. We didn’t like that the ribs and the tri-tip were not warm enough, it felt like they microwaved it and was not fresh from the grill? The sauces they have carried the flavor. Felt scammed out of the cornbread bibingka, try it out, but we won’t be buying it again too overpriced, nothing too special.Service is 5/5, the servers were friendly and gave us options, the owners were present acting as the servers and explained to us about the history of Park’s Finest and context about the food. It was our first time there.Atmosphere 4/5, it is too moody and dark, can use a bit more lighting. Maybe a light bulb on top of the table? ? cool modern design however, maybe its darker during the daytime. The wash room is clean and has all amenities.Overall 4/5, would come again but not cravings. They have Wednesday, Thursday-Friday deals, definitely check those out.Bill came out to $80+“

“the caffinated beverages here are outstanding as are the salads, and the food in general is just really really well done.I would not get the breakfast burrito's however, they need alot of work. Not worth going out of your way for, but i would drive 20 minutes to check this place out.“
