“We chose India Clay Oven for hosting a Baby shower, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. We were 25 people and everyone had a great time! The owner Mr. Nirmal(Norman) is a gem of a person. He was very sincere and helped us choose the right menu. He was also able to accommodate a few extra people who showed up! The service was also great, hats off!“

“I loved the variety of flavours at this restaurant. It’s a great place for people who don’t typically eat Indian food, but want to try it. Highlights were the dosa and bone marrow. Only thing is some dishes were a bit dry/tough (the large beef dish and the fried chicken)“

“Highly highly recommend. It’s hard for us to go to the city without stopping here to eat, we love bringing new friends here as well. If you love Indian food, this is a great place.
Vegetarian options: There’s a large vegetarian section and they are familiar with vegan and we’re even careful to warn me that one of the items I ordered is not vegan“

“Enjoyed a beautiful meal here. Food: buryani, naan basket, chicken potato curry, Napalese noodle soup to start. Excellent food, EXCEPT the $9 top Ramen soup starter. Wtf? Wouldn't recommend. Absolutely delightful waiter! Will return.“

“There used to be a different indian restaurant in the space, but it’s under new ownership now and the food is delicious! They are always so friendly and the ambiance is perfect for dining in. Don’t skip the momos! Will be my go-to spot for indian and nepalese food moving forward.“

“Noe Indian Cuisine is top notch in every way! We stopped here for our lunch during our bachelorette weekend with six of us, and we were in a hurry to get to our next activity. They took our orders right away, brought the drinks and food quickly, and all of it tasted incredibly delicious, hot, and fresh. Not only that, but they brought all the boxes we needed too. Honestly, this is the best and speediest service I have ever seen at a sit down restaurant. If I'm ever back in San Francisco, I will be coming back!“

“Had lunch with my family today
Just want to share my experience
A very warm welcome with a pleasant smile 😍
It was a table for 7, for a small get together
The the service was great, there was no disappointment
About the food I really have no words as everything was the best, chicken xacuti , prawns curry, naan , chicken lollipops
I really enjoyed all the dishes. This was much beyond my expectations.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone“

“Restaurant with good ambience, classy decor and beautiful bold art on the walls. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. But most importantly the food was fantastic. The Vegetarian Coconut Curry and the Paneer Tiki Masala are AMAZING. We literally licked our plates clean. (No shame!).“

“Such a great dining experience. The chutneys are made fresh every morning and you can taste the freshness. Some of my favorite dishes were the vegetable pakoda and chicken biriyani. DB is one of the nicest servers, making sure that the spice level and food suites your needs. Highly recommend for solid Indian food in the city.“

“One of the best Indian places in SF. Food is so good, and easy on stomach. Dishes are curated, Jackfruit tacos are a must. Never had something like this, Dal was also very good. We had a great time enjoying our meal. Servers were amazing, special shout out to Pooja, she was amazing and gave us great recommendations. We also spoke to Chef, who was very friendly and shared the same“

“extremely bad tasting food and bizzare combinations....miffed at kichadi like biryani with no flavour and being served with aam ka achar....god knows how this restaurant got Michelin star rating ....Shame on the chefs and the owners for ripping off the customers with overpricing of the food for poor service, absence of any ambience or decor“

“Rose Indian is super delicious. Everything was really tasty and well done. Papadam and chutneys came with the meal and I ordered Mixed Pickles, Coconut Vegetable Curry and Roti. The Curry was complex and very flavorful and paired wonderfully with the Roti, which was also fantastic. Loved the Mixed Pickle and Chutneys and the Papadam was light and crispy without being too oily. Really impressed by everything here. Menu is very clearly labeled with vegan entrees and there are a lot of them. Great service as well. Definitely going back soon.“

“We stopped there on our way to catch our flight at SF airport. We were short on time and we placed our order. Our server was fantastic helping us to order and we were served our dinner promptly. There was a feeling that all the staff worked together as a team, looking after all the tables not just their own station. That is a sign of true teamwork. We really enjoyed our dinner there. Food and service~ EXCELLENT!“

“This is a very cozy place with good ambiance, good food and great service.
I had madrasi chicken and it was very creamy and spicy. My spouse had malai kofta, it had a flavor of sweet and spice. For breads we had Naans, garlic and chilly cheese, they were very soft!“

“Chaska Restaurant serves a really nice paneer naan that’s soft, fluffy, and stuffed with flavorful, spiced paneer. The combination of buttery naan and rich paneer makes it a delicious and indulgent treat that pairs perfectly with their curries. A must-try for paneer lovers and anyone looking to elevate their Indian meal!“

“food overall is fantastic. really tasty.
however GF naan is absolutely not safe for celiac. I've tried on three different occasions and suffered gluten exposure symptoms three times. very tasty though.
if they can start preparing their GF naan in a safe way without contamination id come here all the time.“

“I had their lamb roganjosh, aloo Gobi, and chicken chettinand. People might say Pakwan is the place to go for good Indian food in the city, but I was thoroughly impressed with what I ate at Keeva. This is not watered down gringofied Indian food. Absolutely loved the lamb roganjosh, the cauliflower and potatoes were very well spiced, and while I personally didn't like the chettinand, I understand the flavor profile and what that dish is. You're missing out on really delicious Indian food if you're not eating here.“

“We were looking for a south India restaurant near Milbrae as we didn’t want to drive south or east just for dosa. We found this restaurant in Burlingame which is not far from Milbrae/Airport. We were skeptical but start from the service, food everything was top notch. We ordered dosa and Andhra Chicken Curry, we asked for spicy and it was just awesome. Highly recommended if you are staying near the Airport area.“

“I got Karahi Gosht and it was authentic and flavorful. Serving quantity was decent as well. I live in the South Bay and most places over there don't get this dish right. 5* from me, for the Karahi Gosht and Naan. Service understandably took some time because they make it fresh and piping hot. And I went there in between performances of standup comedy at Cobb's next door.“

“We’ve moved to different parts of SF and have searched high and low for Indian restaurants that could live up to Tilak. We’ve come close but Tilak is really in a league of its own. The butter chicken is so rich and flavorful, hands down the best in SF. Our favorites are the butter chicken and the biryani, which comes topped with strings of sweet caramelized onions. We alwayslook forward to going back.“

“My newest favorite Indian place. After losing our all time favorite due to closure, we have been trying multiple different Indian restaurants. This place is tasty with a generous biryani portion size, larger than any of the other places we’ve been to, deserving of a good review! Humble but adequate interior- we’ve eaten in and gotten carry out and both were fine. Will be getting carry out here on a consistent basis unless something changes!“

“I ordered takeout from NEWA. The food was excellent! The paneer tikka masala was super good. We ordered the spicy, and were humbled but honestly that’s what you’re looking for from an Indian/nepalese restaurant. The vegetable momos were unlike any momos I’ve had before but were super flavorful, with great texture & came with a punchy dipping sauce. Definitely have to order from them again!!“

“I really never have enjoyed tasting menus….but Tiya’s tasting menu fully changed my opinion on them. 4/6 dishes were things I probably wouldn’t have ordered on a regular menu so getting to try these dishes was a treat. We supplemented the tasting menu with the chicken gushtaba and the shrimp. They were both so good but the gushtaba was outstanding….Think a chicken meatball in fondue.
Everything was a flavor bomb and I would definitely come back“
