“Stopped here for lunch and got the beauty salad. It was sooooo good with chicken, avocado, egg, and tons of veggies. Got it with the lime cilantro dressing which was so fresh!!! Also the option size is huge. You can probably eat half or 3/4 and save the rest for dinner. Service was also super friendly!

FYI the restaurant is in a food court, so there’s tons of seating in an air conditioned room and clean bathrooms. There’s also outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. Support local businesses!“

“This was my first time coming to Citadel and decided to eat lunch at charelys here and i really liked the cheesteak and loved the fries they were cruncy and perfectly seasoned the service was also good i dropped my fries and they were happy to give me a replacement for free!.“

“This is a great place to enjoy continental food. I was very surprised at how authentic the Indian food I ordered tasted. I ordered the butter chicken which came with naan, rice and chapatis. Butter chicken. It tasted like professional style and was very nice looking. It even surpassed some of the Indian restaurants I have tried before.“

We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. “I had lunch with a colleague and arrived on opening at noon. It was my colleague's first visit here and it was a sunny clear day that set the stage for a breathtaking rooftop view. Food was delicious. I had a Cobb salad that was fresh and well presented, and colleague had birria tacos that were rather small but very tasty. Servers were friendly and attentive. Will be back!“

“The asparagus fries. Crispy & not greasy. You can appreciate the asparagus flavor. We split the Thai spicy salad. It was spicy, but the Thai basil & the peanut dressing were the stars. It didn't need the chicken. The best was the ribeye melt. The meat was cooked perfectly.The sourdough was crusted with parmesan. With a side of horseradish that was perfectly paired for this sandwich.“

“I've been going to Pieloon for a few years now and it is THE BEST restaurant in Downey! The food is always fabulous, the portions are large, the service is perfect! I've had appetizers, salads, pastas, steaks, burgers, sandwiches (I'm addicted to the BLT) and many of their specials. My family and I go now 2x a week and have trouble deciding what to get because it's all so good! And the pies...their pumpkin pie is the best I've ever had and the blueberry cheesecake is fabulous...but just wait until fresh peach pie season...I'll gain weight just thinking about it...the fresh peach is the best pie I've ever, EVER had! I love this place and the people who work there!! They're like family now!“
