“Really cool and unique coffee! I went in and just asked the barista to give me two coffees he recommended and it did not disappoint! We got the black nitro cold brew and the honey lavender and both were delicious! Also got a donut and it was also great. The barista was so friendly! I would totally make this my go to coffee spot when we visit Coronado.“

“Better Buzz Coffee in Coronado is a great spot if you're looking for a solid cup of coffee. The coffee was amazing, smooth, rich, and full of flavor. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve.

The shop itself has a cool, welcoming vibe and is a nice place to relax or grab something to go. The açaí bowls, however, weren't the best. The flavor and texture just didn’t quite come together for me.

Still, the coffee more than makes up for it, and I’d gladly return for another cup.“

“Went for brunch with my wife, found parking right outside on the street. No wait when we showed up but the place was far from empty. Loved the plants everywhere and open design. Wife ordered a Greek breakfast with chicken I had the eggs and potatoes with chicken and a cold brew, I skipped the coconut foam, just not my thing. The portions were large and it was a filling meal. The chicken was done to perfection! The house hot sauce of was great and the potatoes were nice and crispy on the edges. Overall a great little spot!“

I recommend the owner look into getting a real AC instead of dingy fans. I understand it’s a store-front coffee shop, but the heat was circulating in the shop from those fans. It felt unclean, sticky, and muggy inside.“

In my opinion, it is one of the best pastry spots in San Diego. Prices are on the higher side but totally worth it.“

Coffee and drink selection looks good. There's a nice little patio outside I sat in. There's a few 1 hr reserved spots in the parking garage for this place. “Papaleco is a true gem in the neighborhood! Their gelato is absolutely amazing — so creamy, flavorful, and authentic. You can really taste the quality in every scoop.

All of their paninis are perfect, with the freshest ingredients and just the right balance of flavors. I’ve also tried their toasted sandwiches, and they are just as delicious — warm, crispy, and satisfying.

“My partner and I genuinely get Bopomofo minimum once a week ever since we first tried it. The bala matcha (guava matcha latte) is one of my fav drinks in existence. I really appreciate that they don’t charge extra for oat milk. Also love that they offer vegan food options - the vegetarian (it’s also vegan) popcorn chicken is super good. I hope they add a vegan sauce besides ketchup in the future. Orders can take some time to come out, but ordering online ahead of time always work best for me.

Their customer service is also 10/10. I ordered online from the Artesia location by mistake a few weeks ago. The manager on shift, Suh, promptly connected with the Artesia location to organize a refund for me. They also provided me with their direct contact info in case I had any issues with receiving the refund. I really appreciate the SD staff for still fulfilling my order 10min before close.
