“A Swedish Gem in Petaluma! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you are looking for a dining experience that is both authentically Swedish and refreshingly modern, Stockhome in Petaluma is an absolute must-visit. It perfectly captures that vibrant Stockholm street-food vibe while keeping things incredibly healthy and high-quality. Favorites: • The Salmon Gyro: This is a total game-changer. The salmon is perfectly prepared—fresh, light, and seasoned beautifully. Wrapping those clean Nordic flavors into a gyro format makes for a meal that feels like a treat without being heavy. • Elderberry Soda with a Splash of Lemonade: This was the highlight of the drink menu! The subtle, floral sweetness of the house-made elderberry soda paired with the bright citrus of a splash of lemonade is the ultimate refreshing combination. It’s a "pro-tip" order that I’ll be repeating every time. • The Vibe: The space is bright, minimalist, and welcoming—true to its Scandinavian roots. It’s clear they prioritize fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, from their amazing meatballs to their lighter, veggie-forward options. Stockhome has easily become one of my favorite spots for a delicious, nutrient-dense lunch that feels special. Tack så mycket! 🇸🇪🍋“

“Delicious,!!,,Loved and enjoyed the food. Great service“
“For me, this is the best Arab/levantine food in the bay. As a Lebanese vegan, i felt emotional because of how good this food was and how many delicious vegan options there were. I haven’t had Kuftah in a long time, and the fact i got to taste a vegan version that tasted identical to the kuftah i grew up eating in Lebanon was so incredible. All the food was incredible. Everyone there was also so sweet and welcoming, service was fast, and the place is beautiful. Cant wait to go back for more.“

“Best gyro and the dolma is INCREDIBLE! This is a MUST VISIT spot when in the area. Tell Sam that Chris & Zip sent you. You’ll be addicted to his food, service and charm. A place for real Mediterranean flavors, and none of that big box processing. He’s open Monday - Saturday, with tri-tip on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Honestly, stop by and try the food. You will be transported to a new land of flavors and comfort.“

“There is a quiet confidence to Pearl, the kind that comes from a kitchen that learned its grammar at Chez Panisse and then went off to write its own sentences. The Alice Waters lineage is unmistakable in the reverence for the ingredient, but the chef here is reaching somewhere more restless, running through North Africa, the Levant, and the Mediterranean without ever feeling like a tour.
What strikes you, dish after dish, is the legibility of a single authorial hand. Some kitchens cook anonymously; here every plate carries the same signature, an unmistakable point of view in the seasoning, the restraint, the way sweetness and acid are made to argue and resolve. You could cover the menu and still know who was at the pass.
We began with the roasted corn and gypsy pepper soup. It arrived deceptively simple, then revealed its hand: red lentils for body, charred cabbage for a whisper of smoke, sweetness and bitterness held in careful tension. A lesser kitchen would have let the corn turn cloying. This one knew exactly when to stop.
The French omelette was a small lesson in technique, folded with a patience that cannot be faked, custardy at the center, dressed in dukkah-roasted asparagus and sorrel with a serrano and mint oil cutting clean lines through the richness.
But the wood-roasted king salmon was the plate I am still thinking about. Served on a fig leaf, the fish was cooked to that elusive point where it flakes but stays silken, set over a white bean and pepper ragout that tasted of long, unhurried cooking. Haroset-stuffed squash brought an unexpected sweetness, and a turmeric yogurt tied it together with quiet acidity.
Pearl includes service in every price and allows no tipping, a small honesty that suits the food. This is sophisticated cooking with nothing to prove and everything to offer. In Petaluma, of all places, a genuine destination.“

“WOW!! I walked into a restaurant that transported me to memories from long ago. Sappy, I know, but I can tell you that in all the restaurants that I've been to not one has ever nearly brought me to tears from the first step inside the door. The decor was tasteful, no awful booths, and inviting. The staff courteous. A question asked was answered with a genuine smile, no forced politeness here. The menu didn't have prices listed but that is a minor detail when you're hungry. I went in craving a gyro and found the most delicious dish I have ever had-a Gyro Bowl with pork. Perfection!!!!“
