“I love Simonette. The patio is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a cocktail and breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I’ve been there twice now and I can highly recommend the burger on the menu - the fried egg on top completes it! And the mussels in the light cream sauce are wonderful - especially with fries. A friend of mine ordered the fried Bronzino - the complete fish including the head - and she said it was delicious. There are great cocktails available and several wines and Prosecco available by the glass. The onsite valet parking is a bit steep, but there are many nearby options for parking in downtown Culver City if you don’t mind walking a few blocks.“

“I chased the Bang Bang Noodles pop‑up in Highland Park—they serve hand‑pulled noodles that are fresh and chewy. My bowl of spicy dan dan noodles had great chili heat and sesame flavor. Locals rave, saying it’s among the best fresh noodles in LA. The vibe was simple and friendly, like a neighborhood secret. Worth following their pop‑up Instagram“

“Went for special holiday meal. Food was delicious. Probably the tastiest chopped chicken liver I've ever tasted. Fabulous brisket, potato pancakes, noodle kugel. Service was extremely good. pickled jalapeños & deli mustard.

The sauce that comes with it also goes very well with it. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try their coffee but I would come back again just to try it and another burrito style.

Cognoscenti’s beverage menu is comprised of the classics along with fun seasonal recipes in the mix. My drink of choice, the surprisingly refreshing Turmeric Latte. I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting myself into, but I’m very glad that my day to be adventurous was an enjoyable one with its perfect ratio of milk to spice. Hungry? “Nice coffee shop in Culver City with a nice and cozy vibe. Artsy and vibrant they propose both pastries and coffees/teas, in short anything you need to wake up in the morning or to grab a late afternoon cup of joe.
With its bohemian vibe and decoration it’s definitely a trendy but not pretentious place to stop by

“In business since 1945 and originally from Ohio, I have been to many locations all around SoCal but this was my first visit to this new Culver City location on S Sepulveda. Every location has been fantastic so far and one thing I appreciate is the staggering amount of ice cream flavor options that they have. It’s easy to get something new each visit, especially with their seasonal flavors. Parking for this location is extremely easy and free bc it’s attached to a shopping center. They have spaces right out front and on the roof/2nd level. Service was fast and friendly and the ice cream isn’t as hard on your tummy as more creamy companies like Salt & Straw.

For this visit I chose a waffle cone with Cinnamon Roll and Cake Batter. Between the two I would say that Cinnamon Roll was my favorite. I wish they would have just a salted caramel flavor without the truffles or a vanilla with caramel but they currently don’t offer that on the menu. Others with me ordered the 4 flavor sampler which is 4 small scoops of up to 4 different flavors.

Overall I would say Handel’s is one of my favorite places to get ice cream and I would recommend to anyone searching for a sweet treat.“

“S&W is a classic American breakfast/lunch cafe in the heart of Culver City right near the Kirk Douglas theatre. The location can't be beat but parking can be an issue(not in my case though as I used the excellent Culver City bus).

The menu has the classics and I liked I could build my own 3 egg omelette stuffing it with jack cheese, onions, corn beef, ground beef, bell peppers. It also came with sourdough bread and hash browns(other options available like pancakes. I spent $20 total but the value is above average it was alot of food.

Note: I really like that they ONLY take cash because it contrasts to the trend I really dislike of places not taking cash.

"Vegan breakfast sandwich". . . this was an impossibility in Culver City until now and it's tasty and not expensive here. Vegan almond and chocolate croissants; they got 'em. “Holy crap. I’ve been trying to find an excellent protein shake place with supplement add-one like creatine, meal replacements, fat burner, etc. and this place HAS IT. It’s so hard finding a good protein shake place that makes it right and this place ABSOLUTELY KILLS the protein shakes. I got the Cinnamon Toast with Fat Burner and Creatine, but I’m trying the peanut butter pistachio next time. It’s a bit of a drive for me since I’m based in LA but I think it’s so worth it. Highly highly recommend.“

“Excellent restaurant, we got the prosciutto pizza and the beef short rib pasta. Both were really fantastic.
Pizza has a wonderful crust, and toppings were balanced. Pasta had a really rich sauce with the wonderful braised short ribs.
Staff were super friendly from the moment we were greeted until we left.“

“The cookies and cream ice cream is so good! They also give you a generous portion. The ice cream doesn’t melt easily even when we were eating outside in a hot weather.
