While I understand it’s a ramen spot, their décor and presentation are more refined than most, so the hectic atmosphere detracted slightly from the overall experience.“

“The foods are amazing … i had the salmon creamy pasta and i liked it so much, the salmon with cherry tomatoes are very refreshing , porcini and mushroom are the new favorites , but the black truffle was the most unforgettable one , once you taste it, it seems you are watching a classic italian movie. The employees are friendly and very accomodating. The atmosphere itself makes you feel like home.“

“I love Simonette. The patio is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a cocktail and breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I’ve been there twice now and I can highly recommend the burger on the menu - the fried egg on top completes it! And the mussels in the light cream sauce are wonderful - especially with fries. A friend of mine ordered the fried Bronzino - the complete fish including the head - and she said it was delicious. There are great cocktails available and several wines and Prosecco available by the glass. The onsite valet parking is a bit steep, but there are many nearby options for parking in downtown Culver City if you don’t mind walking a few blocks.“

“I've only ever gotten delivery so I can't rate on the atmosphere or the service but they make the best breakfast burritos I've ever had in my life. The bacon was always my favorite, they fill it to the brim with crispy bacon, but I just recently tried the pastrami and it slaps so hard my face almost hurt. The pastrami was absolutely delicious, huge pieces and so good inside the burrito with the crispy hashbrowns and egg... Seriously the most delicious breakfast burrito you could ever dream of. Their iced latte is on-point too.“

My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Cognoscenti Coffee on our interview date. Modern meets comfort with a hint of retro inside (and outside) Culver City’s Cognoscenti Coffee. Don’t let its small exterior fool you, because once you step inside you will be welcomed by a slew of cute bistro tables, industrial benches, and colorful chairs. But wait, there’s more! Veer to the right and catch a breath of fresh air in their somewhat secluded patio area. Whether you’re meeting with your bestie or having a writer’s meeting, you will easily be able to find a space to fit however many people in your party. Now let’s get to the good stuff! Cognoscenti’s beverage menu is comprised of the classics along with fun seasonal recipes in the mix. My drink of choice, the surprisingly refreshing Turmeric Latte. I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting myself into, but I’m very glad that my day to be adventurous was an enjoyable one with its perfect ratio of milk to spice. Hungry? Check out their selection of huge (and I mean huge) pastries to fill you up for breakfast or to hold you over until your group dinner in one of the Downtown Culver restaurants.“

“In business since 1945 and originally from Ohio, I have been to many locations all around SoCal but this was my first visit to this new Culver City location on S Sepulveda. Every location has been fantastic so far and one thing I appreciate is the staggering amount of ice cream flavor options that they have. It’s easy to get something new each visit, especially with their seasonal flavors. Parking for this location is extremely easy and free bc it’s attached to a shopping center. They have spaces right out front and on the roof/2nd level. Service was fast and friendly and the ice cream isn’t as hard on your tummy as more creamy companies like Salt & Straw.

For this visit I chose a waffle cone with Cinnamon Roll and Cake Batter. Between the two I would say that Cinnamon Roll was my favorite. I wish they would have just a salted caramel flavor without the truffles or a vanilla with caramel but they currently don’t offer that on the menu. Others with me ordered the 4 flavor sampler which is 4 small scoops of up to 4 different flavors.

Overall I would say Handel’s is one of my favorite places to get ice cream and I would recommend to anyone searching for a sweet treat.“

“Endless options for vegans here. I got there just after noon on Sunday and they still had all of their vegan pastries available. Sadly I was just visiting so wasn’t able to try more hut the Almond Croissant was perfect to have with their latte with oat milk and in house syrup.“

“Holy crap. I’ve been trying to find an excellent protein shake place with supplement add-one like creatine, meal replacements, fat burner, etc. and this place HAS IT. It’s so hard finding a good protein shake place that makes it right and this place ABSOLUTELY KILLS the protein shakes. I got the Cinnamon Toast with Fat Burner and Creatine, but I’m trying the peanut butter pistachio next time. It’s a bit of a drive for me since I’m based in LA but I think it’s so worth it. Highly highly recommend.“
