“Great deal on the AYCE under $25 per person! You can pick whatever your tummy desires from the menu, with over 60 + items, and enjoy the made-to-order food. We started with tease/ light appetizers- rice noodle, fish shumai, takoyaki, fried chicken leg, clamsside up fried eggs then moved to carbs- friend rice, Chan's famous congee, hong kong style stried friend egg noodle, beef stew, shrimp wontons, followed by hand dipped shrimp tempura, edmame, fried scallops, fried oyster, Japanese sake clams and much more. Finished strong with house special ell rolls and a scoop of ice cream. I loved how Chan Kee adjusted the food portion to each order, since we have 3 people in the party, they would offer either 3 pcs of a small protion of the order, they want use to try everything on the menu, and not try to feed us with flavorless carbs. Our favorite item for the night was fried chicken legs; it had crispy skin, but the meat was juicy. Shrimp wontons with nothing but shrimp, we loved it so much and ordered twice. Sake clams were very fresh and flavorful! The AYCE does have a time limit of 100 minutes per visit, but it is still enough time for you to fill your tummy! We do plan to visit again and try the other items that we didn't try at dinner :)“

“We had an amazing meal here! The seafood was the star—fresh, tender, and perfectly cooked. The Peking Duck was crispy and flavorful, and the stir-fried beef was tender and delicious. We also enjoyed the vegetables with tofu, which were light, fresh, and a great balance to the richer dishes. “We go here for a quick & simple breakfast. The pick your own combo is a good deal: porridge + choice: lo mai gai (sticky lotus rice) + drink. The BBQ pork cheung fun is smooth with the right amount of chew and you can see it made to order through the glass sometimes. The staff are friendly and attentive while it does get busy on weekends and lunch rush. Joe the manger will check in to see how’s things are going which is rare in HK style restaurants but appreciated in any setting.“

“There are ample parking spaces around this restaurant. The pan fried daikon cake is very good, so is the spicy lo mien. We have also tried shumai, bean curd roll, and preserved egg and pork porridge, which are about average. The Portuguese egg tart is very flaky and tastes pretty good!“

“The food quality and portion size have both gone down over the years. However, they are still above average compared to other restaurants, because the taste has not changed much.

My family and I have been coming for years; and recently their prices have increased too...“

“After two days of camping, we were heading back to Irvine and made a quick stop in Chino Hills. A friend had recommended this spot, and it turned out to be a nice surprise.

We ordered four dishes for lunch:

• BBQ 3 Item with Rice 燒臘三拼飯 – $18.95

• Beef Stew Wonton Noodle Soup 牛腩炖雲吞麵 (3 wontons) – $16.50

• Baked Pork Chop with Cheese & Tomato Sauce 芝士焗豬扒飯 – $16.95

• Claypot Rice with Black Bean Spare Ribs 豉汁排骨煲仔飯 – $17.95

All were good except the claypot rice—it was just okay and not our favorite.

Service was fast and friendly. Portions were generous, and the flavors were comforting after camping. A good spot for a casual family meal. We’ll definitely return if we’re in the area again.“

“We dim sums have been craving for dim sum for awhile. We decided to find Tasty Dim Sum House and give it a try.

We were greeted by Jerry, a very courteous, helpful man. On the table, you can check out the menu for the different dim sums you want with pictures. You pick and write how many you want from the order form.

The items you order comes out very hot, very tasty too. They provide you with the hit mustard, hot sauces. The tea was Jasmine. The teapot and tea cup looks very fancy. We really like the food and staff.

I would recommend this place if you are in a mood for dim sum.“

“If you're craving dim sum, this place is definitely worth a try. The dim sum menu is solid, offering a decent variety of dishes that satisfy those midday cravings. The food quality is good overall, flavorful, and filling. However, when it comes to dinner time, the experience takes a bit of a dive. The dinner menu isn't particularly impressive, and the foods lack in flavor. I wouldn't recommend coming during dinner time.
The service, unfortunately, leaves a lot to be desired. The staff can be a bit inattentive and, at times, even rude.“
