“Seriously, the Cambodian Dirt are the best wings I have ever had in my life, and I’m 58 years old and love wings. The Dirty Elvis is a close second and they need to have wet naps available even though you end up licking your fingers. The noodles and fried rice are tasty, too. The Coca-Cola is balanced perfectly. I’d put them up against McDonald’s. But don’t sleep on the Chicken Wings. They are really the best!“

“Genuine Japanese Ramen with rich Miso taste. No other ramen shops serve this taste and only one in SoCal. It’s worth to spend your time to go to this place if you are Ramen Lover! Now they start serving Shio-Ramen (Clear Salt base soup) with Truffle oil flavor. This one is very good, too!“

“Tried Vege Valley Restaurant recently and honestly it was a good surprise. I’m not even strictly vegetarian but the food was really flavorful and fresh. Ordered noodles and a veggie dish both were well cooked and not too oily, which I liked.
The place is simple perfect for a relaxed meal. Service was quick and staff were polite. Pricing also feels reasonable for the portion size.
Only small issue was parking, took a bit of time to find a spot. But overall definitely worth visiting if you want healthy and tasty veg food.“

“Not the best aesthetically but the food was fire! Which is always the case when you see an ethnic restaurant crowded with said ethnicity. I believe my wife and I we're the only non-Asians there. Even a monk was there eating with a group, confirming their adherence to non-animal product. You can see him smiling enjoying himself in my picture of the storefront. The pictures of the food don't look great either, but it was all AMAZING and full of flavor and deliciousness! I was literally feeling happiness while eating. LOL We loved the fried fish with ginger (ginger sauce in a side bowl so good make you slap your mama and kick an infant), lemongrass chicken, and the veggie fried rice in that order. But it was all so, so good. Also enjoyed the lemon soda. Was a bit too much sugar but I think it was intentional, as you have to continue to add Pellegrino water as you drink it down in the glass. And the food came with complimentary soup and a sweet corn dessert that was surprisingly delicious to me because I'm not a big fan of coconut milk, but it was in just the right proportion! Our server, younger with unique glasses, was really cool and friendly too. Not that often you get a eating experience that hits on every level like this. Can't wait to go back and try other items!“

“This place is such a hidden gem. The food was such a pleasant surprise. I got the Tingly Cumin Dry noodles, and they weren’t too oily or spicy at all (contrary to other reviews). We also got the Mama’s Dumplings which were definitely on the oilier side, but that’s due to the sauce which is made beforehand.

The noodles were so good that we had to get the Szechuan Garlic flavor to-go, but that soon was eaten within the same hour… Also the peach fruit tea is so refreshing and not too sweet.

If you’re worried about too much spice, don’t be. It’s the perfect amount.

And yes the cashier was very patient and helpful.“

“The food is really good and cheap, plus its a really good portion of it. The atmosphere is pretty welcoming and feels good to be there. The most remarkable thing its the service, it is a really nice and good service in every way, best service I've had so far and will definitely go back.“

“Broth was delicious. The deep umami and subtlety of clam notes made the ramen stock special. Adding the sides they offer like, garlic crisps, were a plus. However, in my opinion, I felt like the ramen noodles did not give the dish its 100%. My partner said it was good overall and I am just slightly nitpicking due to personal preferences of noodles, which were too dense to my liking. I felt like the noodles took away the broth’s complexity rather than a nice balance. At the end I just kept drinking the soup. The chashu pork was tender and not dry at all.

Aside from the ramen, the appetizers such as the karaage, were crunchy and slightly juicy on the inside. The takoyaki was also nice as well.

Overall, the vibe of the restaurant felt cozy and modern, yet I wish they could have played some music to add a little more atmosphere. Service was prompt and quick.“

“If you want authentic Burmese Food, go there. Not pricy, yummy food and warmly welcoming environment.
I really wanted Shan noodle with Tofu but mostly Burmese Restaurant only offered Shan Noodle, but this one has it. So I ordered Shan Tofu Noodle and it’s so fresh. Monhikha is good but texture is thick.
The place is hard to find as it’s really small inside. Waiting time for food is so long, for me, I waited for about 20 25 mins to get my food after already ordering. The lunch special deal is good one.“

“Food is delicious and fragrant. Chili oil is authentic and actually has spice and taste, not that mild stuff other places have. The beef in the fried noodle dish is tender and delicious, the sauce is fragrant. Cats ear noodle did take a longer time to make, but it's all hand made. Can't complain.

My husband got the lamb organ soup and the broth is milky white. The soup is extremely clear tasting and not gamey. Hand pulled noodle texture is on point. Not too soft, chewy.

Speciality fried pork was great and had that authentic north west vinegar sauce and taste.

There was a super annoying customer last night and the staff handled the situation very well. My husband was annoyed for the staff. Props to the restaurant. 10/10.

If you're dining in for the first time:
-Staff does not speak English, do some research on Xian cuisine and checkout their menu beforehand so you understand what dishes to expect
-They accept cash
-Water is self service
-Staff is not intentionally being rude, there's a cultural difference between Chinese and western dining service
-They don't bring utensils out because they're already at your table
-If you have any type of food allergies or dietary restrictions it's up to YOU to figure it out and not the staff“

“This is absolutely our favorite go to restaurant whenever we visit LA. A must stop for us. Living in CA and then moving to MN, we always crave for the noodles here. We visit every 2-4 years and the soups and noodles have always been consistent. The flavors are truly astonishing! We took my parents to visit last week again, and we stopped there 3X! A few days later back at home in MN and we are craving the soups already! Would definitely recommend this place.“

“Went for my birthday and i am more than pleased. The food, service and resturant was all amazing. There were options for all people who may have diet restrictions. My 7 year old had a great time with the chicken wings and the octopus and shrimp sushi. “This is my go-to Indonesian restaurant whenever I’m in LA. I live in Colorado, but I travel here from time to time for business, and Wayang is always on my list.

The food is delicious and authentic, and I love that Ibu Lily makes most of it herself from scratch. She used to be a private chef for celebrities in Los Angeles, and you can definitely tell she knows her way around the kitchen. Everything I’ve had here has been full of flavor and thoughtfully prepared.

When I visited, Wayang was only taking to-go orders, but they still had a few tables set up for customers who preferred to eat there. It’s a self-serve setup, you grab your own water and utensils and eat from the takeout container. Honestly, I really liked the casual setup. Since the restaurant was set up for to-go service, Ibu Lily let me stay for as long as I wanted, which was perfect since I had a little work to get done. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and unhurried. This way, I had the chance to try several different dishes.

For me, that’s part of the charm of Wayang: authentic Indonesian food, made from scratch, without all the fuss—it feels like home. I’ll definitely be back.“

“We had dinner at 鹵億鮮 Luyixian in Alhambra last night and really enjoyed it. The food tasted authentic, comforting, and full of flavor.

I ordered the braised beef noodles, which is one of their best sellers, and it was really good—the beef was tender and the broth was rich and flavorful. My wife had the beef brisket with rice, and she really enjoyed hers too.

We’ll definitely be coming back. Another big plus is that they’re open late, so it’s a great spot if you’re looking for a good late-night dinner in Alhambra. Highly recommend!“

BUT if you're looking for some delicious mouth watering dumplings cooked in various forms then you're at the CORRECT place. I brought my mom here and we tried the pork chive regular dumplings, the pan fried beef and cumin dumplings and the regular fried rice. All of it was delicious. “The food was good, but I wasn’t comfortable with the way the server handled the bowls and plates. I saw hisi hands touch the money, computer surface, and the dirty table. Wearing gloves made me uncomfortable, especially when the server’s fingers touched the inside of the bowl. Other than that, the food was great.“

Ever since the Mandarin Noodle House in Monterey Park closed down, I’ve been searching for a decent beef noodle soup to scratch my itch and while I’ve found a few pretty good places in the SGV, Prince Dumpling has the beef noodle soup and so much more. Occupying the former location of Hanako, we've dined at the second previous tenant of this address, prior to Hanako. I've been meaning to come by Pudtarn Thai Cuisine because I'm a huge fan of Thai food, and Lunch Specials are an affordable option. This day seemed just the moment to try another local Thai restaurant for takeout.

Lunch Special Pad Thai-
Choice of protein (beef + $1, shrimp + $2), with rice, salad & egg roll. Oh, how have I missed pad Thai. Pudtarn's version hit the spot for my Thai food fix. Had the perfect amount of sour to sweet. Portions were generous, too.

Chicken satay-
Five tender, succulent sticks of chicken, served with creamy peanut sauce. Great accompaniment to the noodles, the pieces of chicken were delicious, especially when smothered in the sauce.

Service was good. A good amount of seating inside, the wait for takeout wasn't too long, since I was the first customer of the day. Parking can be somewhat difficult to come by, as some spaces are designated for the business in front of them. Hard to find on it's own, Pudtarn Thai Cuisine is located west of the car wash on the corner of Bloomfield & Centralia.

Pudtarn Thai Cuisine is a solid Thai eatery, and I'm definitely looking forward to visiting, again, in the near future. Their lunch specials are affordable, and provide an ample amount of food. Pudtarn Thai Cuisine has earned their spot in my food rotation list.“

“your wonton wraps were flexible and easy to shape. they hold together wonderfully when boiling, taste great and have a good mouth-feel. they are top notch. Imagine my disappointment when I tried to use your gyoza wraps; some too dry to use; many were stuck to the one next to it (NOT an easy peel). the combination of too dry and stuck-together made for a lot of torn wraps, necessitating that I patch them together using scraps of ones that didn't stay in one piece in order to finish making the gyoza. Such wildly different quality makes me wonder if I got unlucky with the gyoza wraps, or lucky with the wonton wraps.“
