“We are SF natives! 5 yrs ago After a full day of shopping at the outlets and not wanting to eat junk fast food that surrounded the area. We took a chance and drove to this place about 10 minutes away. And we were not disappointed the food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Great for sharing and truly house made from scratch. This place should be rated higher and everyone should support them especially in area that’s fullOf frozen franchise restaurants! Every time we go to outlets it’s our go to place. The atmosphere is nice and give them a break for the service, they could check on their tables and ask how everything is but I’m not stickler as long the food is good! I know how hard it is to make money in restaurant business so sometimes service isn’t as affordable to keep a full staff! But hopefully you give them a chance everything I’ve eaten there is great from pizza , a variety of pasta, steak and Brussel spouts. Super yummy!“
“Food was excellent. The portions were big. Had enough to take home for another meal. Bread bar was awesome. Loved both of the breads they were fresh. They also had oil and vinegar which I love with my bread. The food is cooked right in the open so you can see them cooking your food. All round a great place to eat. They did off a lighter meal with soup and a drink. Wish I would’ve see that sooner since I love soup. I believe they only had clam chowder which I love going to Italians restaurants to get minestrone soup.“
“Very happy to have Simply Pasta close by! Love the concept and the execution. Simple and customizable, very generous portions, good value, and--most importantly--fresh and delicious food! This is not like some fast casual joint where you sacrifice quality for price. Ordered takeout: - Penne with meat sauce, sausage, chicken, broccoli, mushroom. - Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. - Fettuccine Alfredo with sun dried tomatoes, olives. - Seafoods Galore: linguine with clams, scallops, shrimp in white wine, garlic, and butter sauce. - Pistachio cannolis. - Fruit tarts. All the pasta was nicely cooked, but not al dente, if that's your thing. Maybe they can do it upon request. The scallops and shrimp were tender and perfectly cooked. Everything was tasty and well balanced in flavor. Nothing was too salty, sweet, greasy, hard, soggy, or dry. Really can't fault anything about the food, which is pretty rare for any kind of restaurant! The desserts were excellent as well and not an afterthought money grab. I love food and consider myself pretty discerning. I'm really quite impressed by Simply Pasta and look forward to coming here a lot. It feels like they put a lot of thought and care into their products and business. I hope they never change and stick around for a long time!“
“My only complaint is its a little pricey but it's completely worth it. I just ordered delivery and asked them to leave it at my door because I have 2 crazy dogs and they threw in a couple pieces of bacon labeled "for the pups". That was very nice of them and I'm forever grateful. Best sandwiches/Italian food in the bay area and it's not even close. Service is somehow even better. 15/10 would recommend“
“Went for Tri-Valley restaurant week.. Nice menu of hearty minestrone soup and boar ragu with fresh pasta. So delicious! A crisp cannelloni was the dessert. On a cold rainy night, the restaurant was packed with locals who know where to go for warmth, comfort and filling, homey, yummy food.“
“Brava Garden Eatery was such a treat! We felt so well taken care of by the friendly staff, and the food was absolutely delicious – The vibe was just perfect for a memorable evening out. The only downside was the wine selection, which didn't quite hit the mark, but honestly, it didn't ruin our experience at all. We left with happy bellies and big smiles.“
“The atmosphere in this place is great, awesome beer selection, lots of TVs for sports, small game area for the kids and an overall great place for large gatherings. However, the pizza on multiple visits is just ok. We’ve tried the garlic chicken and a couple of others, maybe the appetizers are better, but so far it’s been hit or miss on the pizza choices. As our daughter gets older and goes through HS, I’m sure we’ll be back to try again.Does anyone have a recommendation as to what the best pizza or food option is at Porky’s?“
“The place is always reliable, their hot bread with special sauce was one of a kind, cappacio was good, our waiter was good. Their own label wine was a little disappointing and I ordered the pork chop and was a little too cooked and it became dry. Otherwise, it would have been perfect. With $18 for corkage, I’ll bring my own bottle the next time.“
“We went here for our anniversary.Loved the ambiance. It's small and cute.Service was exceptional. Our server had his italian accent added perfect touch to the ambiance and food that we ordered :)Yummy drinks, great food. Everything was finger licking tasty. Definitely recommend!“
“Finally decided to check out as we normally go to Amy's a couple of doors down. After all almost 2 pm . We got coffee at Amy's. lotto Tix at OO LiquorsFor our first time we ordered a couple of slices of Hawaiian pizza, and the Greek Salad. 25 including tip. Pizza gets top marks. We'll be back to try other toppingsParking: Great strip mall. Old and still one of the best. Donuts, booze, pizza, lotto Tix, coffee, dry cleaners, bar and taqueriaKid-friendliness: Twi tablesWheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant“
“Ordered DoorDash from here a few times. Each time the pasta has been excellent and good value. Since I ordered for pickup all I can say about service is that it's quick and everyone is nice. The ambiance of the place looks great as well.“
“The bread and food was AMAZING and the service was fabulous. We also got non menu meals for our kids which was so kind and helpful.Absolutely love this place, would come again and recommend this to everyone.Kid-friendliness: They made non menu meals for kids which was fantastic and greatly appreciated.“
“My 1st time eating here and I wasn't disappointed. The waitress was AWESOME. Her recommendation of the steelhead trout was a straight win. The trout had a slight char to the skin which enhanced the flavor. The trout was well seasoned. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were a win. Definitely a 10/10 meal.“
“We stopped in on a Monday for dinner. Apparently they host a charity each Monday with volunteer servers donating their tips and 10% of the bill to support a cause. A noble action by the owners to support the community. They serve a limited menu, but had what I wanted - pappardelle with pork ragout. Aldente pasta and a rich flavor on the sauce. I devoured the bowl. The portion seemed small, but was just enough.“
“We were seated promptly upon arrival. Our waiter wasn't very friendly, didn't give us the specials, but he did mention them to other customers around us. It was my daughter's 30th Birthday I did mention that in the notes in our reservation, but she wasn't acknowledged and the table next to us was brought a desert with a candle. A disappointing!“
“Another catering order well done by Melo's of Livermore! We used them for my daughter's birthday before ever even ordering from them and they did not disappoint. Literally everyone LOVED the food. So without any hesitation they were my first thought for what we could serve to our staff for the in-service training today. We picked up the order last night and placed it in the oven this afternoon. Even with being reheated it tasted just as good as it did the first time! Our teachers absolutely loved the fettucia con pollo. Thank you Melo's!“
“Pasta's is very reliable in terms of service and the quality of the food and drinks. We eat there about once a month. The restaurant does offer tasting specials for items not on the menu (individual items on the special menu may also be ordered a la carte) but I would appreciate it if the regular menu could be revised from time to time.“
“We tried lemon caper prawns linguine and chicken mushroom marsala penne and we love it! A bit pricey for $24 each but serving is huge and they don’t skimp on sauce. Make sure to dip the bread into the sauce. We couldn’t finish the meal since its a lot so we brought it home. We ate the leftovers for lunch today! Next time we’ll try their red sauce. ?“
“We were in the area as a team for work and went to Baci for dinner. It’s typical of this area that prices are above average and Baci is no exception. However, we really enjoyed the food and the service was particularly good. I had a the 20oz prime steak and it was cooked perfectly - yum! However, I’d skip the lobster-mac-cheese balls as they were pretty bland without the marinara sauce“
“Chianti Reserve is our favorite restaurant on Main Street! The food is always delicious and the specials of the day are outstanding. The fish dishes are always fresh and all the dishes are tastefully prepared! The managers and servers are friendly and accommodating! The atmosphere is warm and we're treated like family!“
“It's a 'cozy' place - very small. If it's all about the pizza for you though, this is the place. Pizza Bello has the best pizza in Pleasanton. We've tried others in town, from the big places to other cozy places, and we always return to Pizza Bello (and maybe even feel a little guilty!) The owners are so friendly, along with everyone else who works there.“
“We had our Easter meal here, and it was fantastic. This was our third time, and every time we have been there the food has been outstanding. We ordered from the prix fix menu made especially for Easter for $65 per person. Find the menu below. Every item we had was amazing, and the portions were quite large. I have had all of those foods before but nowhere near as good. The best part, though, was Andrea. When we mentioned we were heading to Italy soon and asked how to pronounce "Grazie", he actually sat down with us and gave us some phrases to say, tours to go on and what foods to order. He was awesome! I realize they are new here and have some kinks to work out, but I really believe this could be an incredible addition to our awesome town. I'm hopeful the community supports it. “Moved to the area a few months ago and I was delighted to discover this place. The crust is consistently perfect and the staff are very friendly. My only slight gripe is that they close pretty early, 8.30 if I'm not mistaken but all in all this place is great“
“We had an exceptional dinner experience! From the delectable appetizers to the delicious beet salad and entree, every bite was tasty and delightful. The service was not only friendly but also very attentive. A special treat from the owner added a special touch to an already fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend!“
“This is my favorite cheese pizza in the bay area. It’s the closest thing I’ve found to a New England style pizza (even though the name is NY). Contrary to the other reviews, I think it’s great! Had a large party sized pie and the kids loved it too.“
“We have eaten here over the past 10 plus years. Like with most restaurants they have their ups and downs. But Frankie Johnnie & Luigi has delivered consistently delicious Italian food. Last time was especially good. Tina's Too Too Much Pizza was true to it's name. It was a meat lover's dream with all the possible kinds of meat you can think of. Too many that I can't remember them all. The amount of meat they put on this pizza is almost too much... almost... but I truly love meat. Finally the layers of meat are no good if it doesn't taste good. The pizza is delicious. The crust is crispy not soggy. The toppings were all fresh and tasty... layers of flavor. So good.“
