I dropped by for a cold brew and grabbed a bag of “unique & surprising” to go and the barista shared a small cup of its cold brew for me to taste. I am glad i have tried because it was really surprised by its freshness and flavor and almost wanted to have another large cup of coffee if it’s not my first drink at that day of arrival after a 5 hr flight without a full meal😿
I followed the brew guide on the website but have cut half of the size and still get the same profile as I have had for cold brew.
I will definitely come back for other coffee drinks next time🙌

“Really amazing and very good food. I was a table of one and was able to sit down within 15 minutes compared to usual hour long wait.

I got the HK style french toast, very sweet and more of a dessert but it was amazing nonetheless. Second item i got was the cold sesame noodle (no chicken) and i’ve never had this amazing dish before and it was life changingly good.

Funny story but they threw away my food while i was in the bathroom for two minutes but they apologized and gave me a free meal to go and pastry. I didn’t care that much but happy they fixed an error!

Bodega sando was perfection! Pastries were alright...most looked better than they tasted. I'd say they were good but not great.“

“Open Market catered a wedding reception I was coordinating in October, and they were wonderful. Their restaurant is one of the bride's favorites, and they were great. The food is delicious, and I'm working on getting my husband over there soon. They couldn't have been more accommodating and flexible during the planning, and they were straight pros at the reception. As a planner, I love caterers that are easy to work with and easy for my couple's to work with, and it was a great experience for everyone.

The dessert and drink menu were simple and not over-the-top, which I really liked. I was surprised to see more foreigners than Koreans, even though cafés like this usually attract a lot of Koreans. I’ve been gluten free for five years and have been consistently disappointed with crumbly, dry donuts. Not anymore. This place has changed the game. “This is a nice family-owned type place serving primarily Mexican and Mexican-inspired dishes. We went for breakfast and had omelettes - very tasty. The ambience is clean, quiet, and friendly. Prices are in line with the area (this is Hollywood after all) but trending to the more affordable end of the scale. There is a very nice outdoor seating area and a very small parking lot. There is more parking in the nearby area but you'll have to take a short walk. The service was fast, accurate, and attentive. Our overall experience was excellent and we've already decided to come back next time we're in this area.“

“Just kind of wandered into this place. It was clean, and a good selection of breakfast and light lunch fare (sandwiches, salads, etc). I had the vegan sandwich that came with a side of mixed greens. Everything was super fresh, the tempeh was flavorful, I loved the creamy spread, and the sourdough was perfectly toasted. And not a bad price! You order at the front and they give you a number, and the food came out pretty quickly. The staff were super friendly. Not a huge space, but there several tables open at 12:45pm on a Monday. 1 hour parking on the street (they might also have a garage, but I parked on the street).“

“The tea was lovely and we were happy they had less meat included in their sandwiches. I actually ordered the Vegetarian tea, which they should actually promote more with its own menu. I think there desserts are lacking, I usually take one bite & that's enough. A TART lemon curd tart would be nice, or something fruity. They did bring my friend a slice of chocolate cake for her birthday. That was nice. Our server was lackluster & seemed to not want to be there! I've had wonderful servers in the past, she was my least favorite.“

This morning, since we were having church at home, I put Hilltop to the test and ordered two of their shrimp breakfast bowls—and let me tell you, this dish preaches. Add in velvety scrambled eggs, roasted sweet potatoes with that caramelized edge, and fresh sautéed kale that gives you that “I’m still eating healthy” balance. Drizzle on their house-made sauce (that hits somewhere between tangy and soulful), and you’ve got a bowl that feels like Sunday brunch and grandma’s kitchen got together and made magic.

The walls are lined with black-and-white vintage photography from past activism, and every dollar you spend goes straight into life-saving programs for the LGBT community. “Coffees are really good, really good espressos. Highly recommend the aztec latte! Coffee is just ridiculously expensive. I pay total $8.40 for their large aztec latte with oat milk. Oat milk is an extra 1.50 and their large looks like a regular size. Their brownie is really dry but soft.“

“The staff here are so kind and attentive. We ordered an iced matcha latte with honey — it tasted clean and bright (and not too sweet) — and a smoked salmon onigiri that hit the spot, for a late lunch. We will make sure to come earlier next time since most of the onigiri had already sold out by the afternoon. Extra special shout out to kyucafe for being family-friendly. Can’t wait to come back to try out one of the many ramen options to make in the café when the weather gets cooler.“

“First time here and ordered their iced chai latte. The barista was very friendly and suggested I add honey vanilla syrup because their chai is more on the spicier side. I took her suggestion and the chai tasted great! I definitely could taste the note of spice but the honey vanilla helped balance out the flavors. They also sold various pastries that I’d like to try next time. The actual cafe is small but there’s some seating outside. Overall. I enjoyed my visit and is a place I recommend trying out!“

“A little over 3 years ago, Fleur Cafe opened, and has been a fine success as a small, one-of family restaurant with excellent service and great food at reasonable prices. Now they have expanded their kitchen, and finally introduced an expanded menu with wonderful new dishes added to the popular favorites! I personally enjoy the outdoor dining option, but they have also got a nice little dining room. Prices have gone up a bit, but it is still a very reasonable breakfast, brnch and lunch choice.“
