“Second time here it’s a fine dining experience in an old world setting. Steaks fantastic & reasonably priced. Ladies bring a cardigan as rather chilly inside. John the Duty Manager was very pleasant & keen to know we were happy with the service.“

“Travelled over from Australia and ordered our first American steak and it was absolutely amazing. Ordered the 21DryAge Tomahawk to share. Was honestly the best steak we have ever had!!!!!
Ordered the freshly shucked oysters and wagyu tacos for entree and was also fantastic!
Service was also impeccable!

“Sister restaurant of Tamean. Good quality meats, with good options. Service is great. Big downside is they do not have a full liquor license so only beer and wine.
Be prepared to pay for quality price meats. Plenty of parking. Nice quiet.“

“A fine home-like steak house and my black & blue 10oz filet melted in my mouth like it should, really fine cut. All at our table loved the mushrooms, spinach and fries plus shrimp cocktail and beers and wines. Sadly they were out of my lamb chops first choice but that will bring me back I guess-“

“We had 30 guests for a corporate steak dinner after a real estate industry conference we all attended. I worked with our server beforehand, pre-ordering apps, meals, sides, desserts and making it family style. Our incredible server, along with the amazing chefs did soooooo well accommodating our HUGE party. Apps and bread came out as soon as we were seated. The main entrees and sides came out right on time and the crowd was won over with the desserts. We decided to order a few bottles of wine for the table which was helpful in keeping things running smoothly. The staff here was so wonderful!“

“Me and my wife went for our anniversary. I believe the person that served us name was Chase. He was a great guy very helpful with any questions we had about the menu. I ordered the 12oz ribeye steak with Mac and asparagus and she got the pasta with a Cesar salad and bread. The food was delicious and very good quality. While eating our food we had drinks she got some coffee drink and I had 2 cups of wine. The drinks were good. Man it was just a great overall experience. We will be back soon. Thank you Rex steakhouse for making our anniversary date night memorable.“

“I’ve been eating here since 1990 I hadn’t been in several years because of the distance from where I now reside, but I was recently in the area & decided I wanted a taste of nostalgia. I wasn’t disappointed the food was just as delicious as I remembered the staff was polite & courteous. The prices were great everything is so expensive nowadays it feels good to go somewhere and get a top quality meal and not have to break the bank.“

“Check-in in front desk people were extremely rude. Availability of tables for a party of six is super limited. They only had one table by the door. The steak is good, but everything else really not that great. The waiters are very polite, but the service is super slow. We went to the one in Marina del Rey, horrible neighborhood Very sketchy many homeless people. You don't wanna be there at night.“

“I had a wonderful birthday experience! Kevin made me feel truly welcomed and celebrated. The food was excellent — I especially enjoyed the calamari. I was surprised with a birthday dessert and candle, and the chef, Whitney, even came out to greet us with a rose and champagne. It was such a thoughtful touch. I would definitely come again!“
